3 Rangte thung mok pun abah seng marah re theng ah erah re ih.
And we will do this, if God may permit.
4 Mamah liidoh, ngo ih heh tuungmaang thiin haatta ah mamah we ngaak sekthun thuktheng ah? Taksiit neng loong ah Rangte weephaak ni elang erumta; neng loong ih rangmong nawa lakkot nyia Esa Chiiala lakbi ah ethaak choh ih rumta;
For it is impossible that those having been once enlightened, and tasted the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

indeed having fallen away, to renew them again unto repentance; having crucified to themselves again the Son of God, and put him to an open shame.
7 Marah hah adi rangphaat phaatla nyia potiik polak seela ah phek phekte suh ese eno erah ah Rangte ih roomseetam koha.
For the earth drinking the rain coming often upon her, and bringing forth the herb nutritious to those by whom it is also cultivated, receives blessings from God:
8 Enoothong marah di theng anaam nyia suh anah dongla loong bah thaangmuh, erah loong ah suh bah Rangte ih choophaan phaan ih tamha, eno neng loong ah we nawa ih thet haat rum ah.
but that which produces thorns and thistles, is reprobate, and nigh unto the curse; whose end is unto burning.
9 Enoothong erah likhiik jeng ih boh, mongnook phoh ano loong, sen ah subah kamkam ih laalomli. Seng ih ejat ehi sen suh khopiiroidong ah romseetam ese koh halan.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things concerning you, and things appertaining to salvation, if indeed we do thus speak.
10 Rangte ih mih tah danka. Heh ih an timjih re raangtu erah tabe haatka nyia huinong nong huitu ah nyia amadi uh Kristaan loong huinong ah nong hui ruh ehu rah uh tabe haatka.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the divine love which you manifested in his name, having ministered to the saints, and ministering.
11 Seng nookli ah langla, senthung sentak kot ah hethoon tuk ih toom ang ah, eno juuba sen ih laalom han ah amiisak ih choh an.
But we desire each one of you to exhibit the same diligence unto the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 Sen edem ang an rah suh tah nook ke, enoothong ngo ih Rangte suh hanpiiha nyia enaan eha likhiik angsuh eno Rangte ih tiimjih raangtaan ih kakhamta erah ah chola suh ba nookli.
in order that you may not be dull, but imitators of those who through faith and longsufferings do inherit the promises.
13 Abraham suh Rangte ih kakhamta, erah kakham jun ih re suh thoom hoonta. Heh thaknang ih elong laje tungkaang di, thoom hoonta adi Rangte ih heh teeteewah men seta.
For God having promised Abraham, since he had no greater one by whom to swear, swore by himself,
14 Heh ih liita, “Ngah ih an damdi kakham hang, an suh romseetam koha eno an sutoom satoom hantek koha.”
saying, If indeed blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee:
15 Abraham ih naan ano bansokta, eno Rangte ih heh suh marah raangtaan ih kakhamta erah echoh eta.
and thus having waited long, he received the promise.
16 Seng ih thoomhoon ih di, seng men thaknang ih wahoh men ah elong ih sehi, eno erah thoomhoon rah ih daanmui jengmui thoontang phansiit ha.
For men swear by the greater: and an oath of confirmation is to them an end to all controversy:
17 Rangte ih kakham thinta ah chote loong asuh baat ha, heh ih tiim raangtaan ih kakhamta, erah timtok doh uh tah lekka ang ah; erah thoidi kah khamha khodi uh thoom we boot hoonta.
but God, in this wishing more abundantly to show forth to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 Jengkhaap enyi je ah, erah maatok uh tah lekka, Rangte tah leekka nyia tah lekka. Seng marah heh damdi epui eliite loong asuh rapne chaan chotheng, seng laalom ah rak thuk suh ah.
that through two immutable things in which it was impossible that God should lie, we who have fled may have a strong consolation to lay hold of the hope set before us,
19 Seng roidong raangtaan ih erah laalomli ah jaankeng likhiik. Emah ang abah punpiipi nyia elang jaatjaat ih ah, Erah laalom ah ih rangmong rangsoomnok ni nyuh tin ha dowa ih esa khotok di esaathoon adoh thoksiit he.
which we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is in the veil,
