< Hebruute 4 >
1 Amadi, Rangte ih seng choh naangtong suh marah baat tahe erah jun ih seng echoh esuh kakham tahe. Erah raangtaan ih banban ih tong ih, naangtong chosuh kakhamta ah ngo uh lachoh nak toom ang an.
Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
2 Mamah liidih seng ih Ruurang Ese ah chaatti, neng ih chaatta likhiik ah. Neng ih tiitkhaap ah echaat erumta, enoothong ese tare rumta, timnge liidih erah chaat tokdi tuungmaang ano tah kap rumta.
For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.
3 Ehanpiite seng loong ah Rangte ih enaangtong chosuh kakham tahe rah choli. Erah likhiik heh ih liita, “Nga ten khatang eno thoomthih hoontang: ‘Neng marah enaangtong theng hah neng suh kottheng taat angta adoh maatok uh tajen thok rumka!’” Mongrep hoonta di dook jen tom moh kata bah uh arah jengkhaap ah baatta.
For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 Mamah liidih sa sinet saakaan tiit ah marah marah Rangteele ni baat eha: “Heh mootkaat thoontang mokah ano Rangte sa sinet sa adi naangtongta.”
For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, “God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”
5 Erah jeng jeng ah weedop baatta: “Neng marah enaangtong theng hah neng suh kottheng taat angta adoh maatok uh tajen thok rumka.”
and in this place again, “They will not enter into my rest.”
6 Marah mina ih Ruurang Ese phang chaat rumta loong ah ih erah naangtong ah tah choh rumta, mamah liidih neng ih tah hanpi rumta. Ang abah uh, wahoh eje echoh esuh ah.
Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter into it, and they to whom the good news was preached before failed to enter in because of disobedience,
7 Elang ih ah Rangte ih saakaan hoh thinta tiit ah noisok hali ah “Chiinyah.” Paang hantek lidi erah rangwuung tiit ah Dewid jun ih jengta, erah rangteele ni dan raang eta: “Chinnyah Rangte jeng ah chaat ih hanbah, senthung sentak ah chedotdot nak ang an.”
he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”
8 Marah Rangte ih naangtong theng kakham rumta rah Josua ih mina loong suh jen naangtong mok ethuk rumta bah, Rangte ih saakaan hoh tiit ah tawe baat rum thengta.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.
9 Emamah ih belam uh sa sinet saadi Rangte naangtongta likhiikkhiik heh mina loong naangtong chosuh eje
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 Marah Rangte ih naangtong chosuh kakhamta ah chote ah ba naangtong ah, Rangte heh mootkaat nawa naangtong ta likhiik heh uh heh mootkaat nawa emamah ih naangtong ah.
For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 Enoobah, enaangtong ah chosuh seng chah ih timthan haamhi erah than ih re ih, erah doba seng loong ah neng laalom laje thoidi lajen rumta likhiik sengdung dowa ngo uh naktoom je ih.
Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
12 Rangte jengkhaap ah ething nyia echaan, lang ah langlih langngah ih thela nang ih etheh. Erah ih jirep jen laang dook ah, chiiala nyia moong achaang loong chomui la jen rit dook ah, eno lakraang laraang thuung maadi chiila erah loong ah jen phe dook ah. Erah ih ten ni thun ha rah nyia eramka ela ah uh edande eh ah.
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 Rangte ngathong nah timjih uh tajen hotthin ka; Timthan hoon hiita loong ah Rangte miksok niibah thoontang ah etup etheng totoh angla. Eno seng teeteewah amiisak ih Rangte suh jat thukjih.
There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.
14 Erah raangtaan ih, marah suh tuungmaangli erah suh kamkam ih tuungmaang ih. Mamah liidih seng elong Romwah phokhothoon ah rangmong ni wangta—erah Jisu, Rangte Sah.
Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession.
15 Seng Romwah phokhothoon rah seng larook lata ang idi lah tenthet tah eri, enoothong seng damdi wasiit je ah jaahantek dook phate choi ah, ang abah uh rangdah tah data.
For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
16 Enoobah, kamkam ang ih, maradi tenthet nyia minchan chola Rangte tongtheng adoh thok suh jam ih, erah doba minchan nyia tenthet ah seng ih jamhi tok adoh huichaang ah choh ih.
Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
