< Hebruute 2 >
1 Erah raangtaan ih seng ih marah amiisak tiit chaatti eradoh rongrong ih boot tong ih, erah doba seng loong ah tajen ki siitri.
Because of this it behoveth [us] more abundantly to take heed to the things heard, lest we may glide aside,
2 Jengkhaap rangsah loong ih sengte sengwah loong suh kota ah amiisak angtheng ngeh noisokta, eno marah mina ih lah boichaatta erah mina loong ah marah chamchoh theng angta erah cho rumta.
for if the word being spoken through messengers did become stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience did receive a just recompense,
3 Erah ang bah, sengthung sengtak elongthoon khopiipang theng adoh lakoke ba puipang tam ehe? Teesu heh teeteewah ih thaaraam raam ih phangbaatta arah khopiipang tiit ah, eno ngo ih japchaatta erah mina loong ih seng loong suh amiisak ah jatthuk hali.
how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation? which a beginning receiving — to be spoken through the Lord — by those having heard was confirmed to us,
4 Erah damdi Rangte heh teeteewah ih maama maama epaatja etheng wak noisok thukta jun ih haaki kota eno erah damdi Esa Chiiala nawa ih lakkot loong ah heh thung jun ih korumta.
God also bearing joint-witness both with signs and wonders, and manifold powers, and distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.
5 Rangte ih marah mongrep ena dongte angla eradoh hompan suh rangsah loong ah tah thiinka—marah ena mongrep tiit seng waanli erah doh ah.
For not to messengers did He subject the coming world, concerning which we speak,
6 Erah nang ih, marah marah Rangteele ni amah ih raangha: “Mina ah timjih ah, O Rangte, an ih neng loong thun theng ah; neng loong ah mina luulu ba an ih sokboi etheng ah?
and one in a certain place did testify fully, saying, 'What is man, that Thou art mindful of him, or a son of man, that Thou dost look after him?
7 Neng loong ah chomroi raangtaan ih rangsah thaknang ih ehin hoontu; men raksiit nyia choomjoot etheng khopok ah pok thuk tu,
Thou didst make him some little less than messengers, with glory and honour Thou didst crown him, and didst set him over the works of Thy hands,
8 an ih neng ah jirep hompante hoontu.” Rangte ih hoonta ngeh liita “Jirep khodoh hompante”; arah liiha di jirep roop baat ha. Ang abah uh seng ih sok ih di jirep ah mina lathong ni tah angka.
all things Thou didst put in subjection under his feet,' for in the subjecting to him the all things, nothing did He leave to him unsubjected, and now not yet do we see the all things subjected to him,
9 Enoothong seng ih Jisu ah ba tup hi pootsiit raang ih rangsah loong nang ih ehin hoon arah ah, timnge liidih Rangte minchan nawa ih thoontang raangtaan ih heh roop tektheng ang la. Heh chamnaang tiita thoi amadi men raksiit theng nyia choomjoot etheng khopok ah pokkoh arah nyia soomtu arah tup hi.
and him who was made some little less than messengers we see — Jesus — because of the suffering of the death, with glory and honour having been crowned, that by the grace of God for every one he might taste of death.
10 Rangte abah punla jirep dongsiitta nyia riimtoon sokboite ah, Jisu ah chamnaang thuk ano epun ih hoonha, eno Jisu jun ih heh susah loong heh rangka theng nah lomsiit suh. Mamah liidih Jisu ibah khopiiroidong lam siitte.
For it was becoming to Him, because of whom [are] the all things, and through whom [are] the all things, many sons to glory bringing, the author of their salvation through sufferings to make perfect,
11 Heh ih mina rangdah nawa saasiit ha, eno heh nyia marah saasiitta loong suh nep neng Wah esiit angla. Erah raangtaan ih Jisu ih ngaphoh ngaano ngeh poon suh tah rakriika.
for both he who is sanctifying and those sanctified [are] all of one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Rangte suh baatta, “An timjih reetu erah nga phoh ngaano loong suh baat ang; Neng dung nah an phoong ha.”
saying, 'I will declare Thy name to my brethren, in the midst of an assembly I will sing praise to Thee;' and again, 'I will be trusting on Him;'
13 Heh ih uh eli eta, “Ngah ih Rangte suh tuungmaang ang.” Erah damdi amah uh eli eta, “Ngah Rangte ih koh tahang ngaasuh ngaasah loong damdi anglang.”
and again, 'Behold I and the children that God did give to me.'
14 Suh asah loong ngeh, heh ih poon rumta loong ah, hansi mina ang rumla, Jisu heh teeteewah mina dang ajang likhiik ih roong hoon kata. Erah hoon kata ah langla heh tiita jun ih Hakhojuungbaan ah thet haat suh hoon kata eno heh jiinni etek ah jen suh chaan aphaan eje angta,
Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself also in like manner did take part of the same, that through death he might destroy him having the power of death — that is, the devil —
15 erah likhiik marah etek esuh choorum ano dah etong rumta loong ah doksiit rumta.
and might deliver those, whoever, with fear of death, throughout all their life, were subjects of bondage,
16 Erah jatririh heh ih huinong huita ah rangsah loong tah angta, Rangteele ni liiha likhiik Abraham suh asah loong ah sokboita.
for, doubtless, of messengers it doth not lay hold, but of seed of Abraham it layeth hold,
17 Erah langla heh mina loong likhiik jirep dang ajang doh hoontheng angta, Rangte mootkaat doh neng ih tuungmaang theng nyia neng tenthette Romwah Phokhothoon ang suh ah. Eno ba mina loong rangdah ah biin anaan ah.
wherefore it did behove him in all things to be made like to the brethren, that he might become a kind and stedfast chief-priest in the things with God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people,
18 Eno marah phate rumha mina loong ah jen pang ah, mamah liidih heh uh phate nyi chamnaang ah thaak chochoi.
for in that he suffered, himself being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
