Ephisiate 6
1 Hesusah loong, arah sen Kristaan loong mootkaatjih, sen ih sen nuwah loong jeng chaatchaat etheng, tiimnge liidoh punre eli aju arah.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.
2 “Sennuh senwah ah soomtu etheng” ah jaakhothoon jengdang erah ah kakham ni wakjeela:
Honor your father and your mother. This is the first commandment with a promise:
3 “Tiimnge liidoh jirep ah sen damdam ese toom angha, eno arah hah adoh sen loong ah roidong eloh toom ih tong an.”
so that it may be well with you, and so that you may have a long life upon the earth.
4 Henuh hewah loong, sensuh sensah loong ah ekhat etheng nak liilaang an. Erah nang ebah, Kristaan dang ajang nyia reeraang lam ih renbaat anno hakpan theng.
And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but educate them with the discipline and correction of the Lord.
5 Dah sen loong ah, sen changte wah ra mootcho damdoh hejeng chaatchaat ih re an; senten senmong ah koh anno Kristo mootkaat moh an rah likhiik ih moh an.
Servants, be obedient to your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ.
6 Neng ih toomse chohe ngeh ih, neng miktup doh luulu nakre theng; erah nang ebah Kristo dah mamah angtheng ah erah sen ten ni Rangte ih tiimre theng liiha jun ih reetheng.
Do not serve only when seen, as if to please men, but act as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
7 Sen mootkaat pakna ah tenroon woksoon ih mokah an, mina raangtaan lah angthang ih Teesu mootkaat ngeh ih thun an.
Serve with good will, as to the Lord, and not to men.
8 Sen loong ah ih erah samthun an, dah angkojio adoleh mama pongwan ih tongte angkojio, mootse kaatse kali ah thaang Teesu ih jaasiit hethaang kot ehe.
For you know that whatever good each one will do, the same will he receive from the Lord, whether he is servant or free.
9 Changteewah loong, sen dah loong damdoh sen uh emamah ang theng, neng loong ah nak choophaan an. Sen ih erah samthun an, dah nyia heh changte loong changteewah ah rangmong ni tongla, heh ih wareprep ah phoosiitsiit ih dande ah.
And you, lords, act similarly toward them, setting aside threats, knowing that the Lord of both you and them is in heaven. For with him there is no favoritism toward anyone.
10 Hethoon doh, Teesu damdoh roop an nyia hechaan hephaan nah rongtangtang ang an.
Concerning the rest, brothers, be strengthened in the Lord, by the power of his virtue.
11 Sen loong ah Hakhoh Luuwang ethih phoong abe dowa jen pui suh, Rangte ih kotahan lang apah ah kap an.
Be clothed in the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the treachery of the devil.
12 Tiimnge liidi seng loong ah mina damdi tamuike, seng muili abah rangwaatdam nawa chiiala ih panha ah damdi, ngoong awang damdi, nyia laamang roidong ni panha moong achaang damdi muili. (aiōn g165)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places. (aiōn g165)
13 Erah raangtaan ih Rangte ih koh halan lang apah ah amah dowa ih kap an. Eno juuba, ethih rangwu thok ha doh piiara ih thoklong han bah uh jen mui e an; raamui thoon lidoh nep sen rongtangtang jen chap an.
Because of this, take up the armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand the evil day and remain perfect in all things.
14 Erah raangtaan ih amiisak tiit ah, sen room ni roomkhe kheeha ah likhiik nyia kateng tiit ah laakkhoi likhiik ih toom ang ah,
Therefore, stand firm, having been girded about your waist with truth, and having been clothed with the breastplate of justice,
15 eno Ruurang Ese baattaan han ah sen lah ni lasong songhan arah likhiik ih toom ang ah.
and having feet which have been shod by the preparation of the Gospel of peace.
16 Sen laalom ah laakkhoi likhiik; tiimnge liidoh Ethih warah ih we ih khaam ah likhiik wot ih haap handoh toom jen metmot an.
In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
17 Eno khopi roidong ah khopok likhiik ih kap an, nyia Rangte jengkhaap ah Chiiala ih koh halan lang ah likhiik toom ang ah.
And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).
18 Arah loong ah sen rangsoom nah Rangte jiin nawa suh an. Chiiala ih sen lam mamah siit han jirep raangtaan ih suh an. Arah tiit ah sen thung nah thunroh ih anno Rangte mina loong ah raangtaan rangsoom nah tong an.
Through every kind of prayer and supplication, pray at all times in spirit, and so be vigilant with every kind of earnest supplication, for all the saints,
19 Eno, husah ni jatthuk halang tiitkhaap ah baat chung adoh lacho laphaan ih baattaan suh Rangte ih kot toom ehang suh rangsoom kohe.
and also for me, so that words may be given to me, as I open my mouth with faith to make known the mystery of the Gospel,
20 Phaatak ni laang asak hang bah uh Ruurang ese raangtaan ih ngah roop chaplang. Ruurang ese ah mamah baat theng ah, erah lacho laphaan ih baat suh rangsoom kohe.
in such a manner that I may dare to speak exactly as I ought to speak. For I act as an ambassador in chains for the Gospel.
21 Seng phono Taikikas, marah Teesu laksuh mootkaat ni laalomlom ih mootkaatte, warah ih nga tiit ah heh ih toombaat han, eno ngah mamah anglang erah jat an.
Now, so that you also may know the things that concern me and what I am doing, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and a faithful minister in the Lord, will make known everything to you.
22 Erah thoidi, heh sen reeni kaat thuk halang—seng mamah tongli erah heh ih chobaat han adoleh sen suh chaankot jengkhaap ah jeng kohan.
I have sent him to you for this very reason, so that you may know the things that concern us, and so that he may console your hearts.
23 Seng loong Wah Rangte nyia seng Teesu Jisu Kristo ih semroongroong nyia laalomlom ih tong suh Kristaan minchan toom kohan.
Peace to the brothers, and charity with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 O mina ih seng Teesu Jisu Kristo ah minchan ruh eha loong damdoh Rangte minchan toomje ah.
May grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ, unto incorruption. Amen.
