1 Pool ih ngoomthumte loong taangko sok ano jengta, “Phoh ano Ijirel noksong! Chiinnyah tuk eh Rangte ngathong ni ngaathung ngaatak phanjangjang eh songtong lang.”
Having looked intently then Paul at the Council he said; Men brothers, I myself in all conscience good have lived as a citizen to God unto this day.
2 Erah chaat ano Romwah phokhoh Ananias ih Pool reeni chapte loong asuh heh tui ni mangbot suh baat rumta.
Then the high priest Ananias commanded to those standing by him to strike of him the mouth.
3 Eno Pool ih Romwah phokhoh asuh liita, “An lonoite—Rangte ih amiisak eh baangbuho! Erah di tong uno Hootthe ah pi uno dande hu, ang ah bah uh nga baangbot baat hu ah ih an thet haat hu!”
Then Paul to him said; To strike you is about God, wall whitewashed! And you yourself do you sit judging me according to the law, and violating law you command me to be struck?
4 Heh re tiittiit chapte loong ah ih Pool suh li rumta, “An ih Rangte Romwah phokhothoon kaanju hu!”
Those who now standing by said; The high priest of God do you insult?
5 Pool ih ngaakli rumta, “Phoh ano Ijirel noksong, Ngah ih Romwah phokhothoon ngeh ih tajattang. Rangteele ni liiha, ‘Mabah uh noksong pante suh an ih ethih lali theng.”
Was saying then Paul; Not I had known, brothers, that he is high priest; it has been written for (that *no*) [The] ruler of the people of you not you will speak evil [of].’
6 Miloong dung ni mararah ah Pharisi, mararah ah Sadusi japtup rum ano, Ngoongthum theng ni Pool ih dokpoon rumta, “Ijirel phoh ano loong! Ngah Pharisi sah, Parisiite ah. Tek nawa ngaaksaat lidoh roidong na suh laalom thoidi ngah adi thaak poon rum halang!”
Having known then Paul that the one part consists of Sadducees but the other of Pharisees (he was crying out *N(k)O*) in the Council; Men brothers, I myself a Pharisee am, [the] son (of Pharisees; *N(K)O*) concerning [the] hope and resurrection of [the] dead I myself am judged.
7 Erah lih adi, Pharisi nyia Sadusis loong ah neng jaachi ni phang rookmui rum ano, dungnyi eh hoon rumta. (
This then of him (saying *N(k)(o)*) arose a dissension between the Pharisees and (of the *k*) Sadducees, and was divided the crowd.
8 Sadusis loong ah ih liita mina tek nawa tangaak saatka, eno chiiala nyia heh kaamwah uh tajeeka; enoothong, Pharisi loong ah eh arah ejomjom hanpiiha.)
Sadducees indeed for say not there to be resurrection (neither [to be] *N(k)O*) angel nor [to be] spirit; Pharisees however confess both.
9 Erah thoidi we we boot riiraak eh rumta, eno Pharisi nok hah mararah Hootthe nyootte loong ah toonchap rum ano thidokdok eh daan rumta: “Arah mina thih arah tatupke! Heh damdi chiiala nyia rangsah tam roongwaan kotaaja!”
Arose then a clamor great; and having risen up (some *NO*) (of the scribes *N(k)O*) of the party of the Pharisees they were contending saying; No [thing] evil we find in man this; What if now a spirit has spoken to him or an angel (Surely we shall be fighting God? *K*)
10 Choophaan phaan eh daanmui rum kano saahaap elong ah Pool maalek tek haat rumja oh ngeh ih choota. Erah thoidi heh bante loong ah datkhoom kah rum ano midung nawa Pool ah sipaahi tongtheng adi siitkaat thuk rumta.
great then (is becoming *N(k)O*) dissension, (having feared *N(k)O*) the commander lest may be torn to pieces Paul by them he commanded the troop (having gone down *NK(o)*) (and *k*) to take by force him from midst of them, to bring [him] then into the barracks.
11 Erah rangphe adi Pool ngathong ni Teesu ah chap ano heh suh baatta, “Nakcho uh! Jerusalem ni an nga haaki ang uh, eno Room nah uh emamah eh ang theng.”
But on the following night having stood by him the Lord said; Take courage (Paul; *k*) as for you have fully testified about Me at Jerusalem, thus you it behooves also in Rome to testify.
12 Erah saalih adi Jehudi loong ah rangkhah di neng kaankoong tiit roongwaan suh khoontong rumta. Neng loong ah ih Pool maang tek haat haat tiim uh lajok phaksat theng ngeh ih kakham rumta.
When it was becoming then day having made a conspiracy (the Jews *N(k)O*) put under an oath themselves declaring neither to eat nor to drink until that they may kill Paul.
13 Erah mongtham hoonte miloong ah rookbaji nang eh ehan ang rumta.
There were now more than forty this plot (having made; *N(k)O*)
14 Eno Romwah phokhothoon nyia mihak phokhoh loong asuh baatwan rumta, “Seng ih Pool maang tek haat haat tiim uh lajok phaksat theng ngeh ih kakham hi joh.
who having come to the chief priests and to the elders said; With an oath we have bound ourselves nothing to eat until that we may kill Paul.
15 Erah raangtaan ih Ngoong awang sen loong ah ih Room nok hah saahaap elong asuh Pool ah sen reenah toom siitkaat rumha ngeh ih maatbaat an, seng ih heh thoilam ah rapniine eh jat suh liihi ngeh ih diipli theng. Eno adoh maang thokra doh lam nah tek haat suh ban tong ih.”
Now therefore you yourselves do make a report to the commander along with the Council, so that (tomorrow *K*) he may bring down him (to *N(k)O*) you as being about to examine more earnestly the [things] about him; we ourselves then before drawing near of him ready we are to execute him.
16 Enoothong erah kaankoong ah Pool diik heh nah sah rah ih japchaatta; eno sipaahi tongtheng adi wang ano Pool suh hubaat wanta.
Having heard however the son of the sister of Paul (of the ambush, *N(k)O*) having come near and having entered into the barracks he reported [it] to Paul.
17 Eno Pool ih saahaap wasiit ah poon ano baatta, “Arah jaaro ah saahaap elong jiinnah siitwan uh; heh ih tiim atiim baat theng eje tih.”
Having called to [him] then Paul one of the centurions he was saying; young man this (do take *NK(o)*) to the commander; he has for to report something to him.
18 Erah saahaap ah ih, elong ah reeni siitwan ano, baat wanta, “Pool phaatak ni sak hi eno heh ih poon hangno arah jaaro ah an reeni siitwan thuk halang, heh ih an suh tiim atiim baat theng eje tih.”
The [one] indeed therefore having taken him he brought [him] to the commander and he says; The prisoner Paul having called to me he asked [me] this (young man *N(k)O*) to lead to you having something to say to you.
19 Saahaap ah ih heh lakni heh re tiittiit eh, johoom ano chengta, “Ngah suh tiimjaat baat theng ah.”
Having taken hold then of the hand of him the commander and having withdrawn in private he was inquiring: What is it that you have to report to me?
20 Eno jaaro ah ih baatta, “Jehudi dowa ngoong awang loong ah roongwaan rumta, rangkhah noksong reenah Pool siitkaat theng ngeh ih diipli rum ano, suwang rumho noksong ih heh thoilam ah rapniine eh jat suh li rumha tih ngeh ah.
He said then that The Jews have agreed to ask you that tomorrow Paul you may bring down into the Council as (it being about *N(K)(O)*) something more earnestly to inquire about him.
21 Eno an ih nakmok boichaat uh, mih rookbaji nang eh ehan heh bansokte hutong rum ah. Neng ih kakham rumha Pool maang tek haat haat tiim uh lajok phaksat theng ngeh ah. Neng loong ah ih amadi an jengkhaap bansok halu.”
You yourself therefore not may be persuaded by them, Lie in wait indeed for him of them men more than forty, who was put under an oath themselves neither to eat nor to drink until that they may execute him and now they are ready awaiting the from you promise.
22 Saahaap elong ah ih liita, “Ngah suh baat halang ah o suh uh nakbaat uh joh.” Eno jaaro ah kaat thukta.
Indeed therefore [the] commander dismissed the (young man *N(k)O*) having instructed [him] No one to tell that these things you reported to me.
23 Eno saahaap elong ah ih saahaap wanyi poon ano baat nyuuta, “Kaisiria nah kaat suh sipaahi chaanyi, moksiitte rooksinat, pah piite chaanyi ban khookhaam an, niikja saapoot akhuh doh dokchap theng.
And having called to [him] two certain of the centurions he said; do prepare soldiers two hundred so that they may go as far as Caesarea and horsemen seventy and spearmen two hundred for [the] third hour of the night,
24 Pool raangtaan ih mok ah koh anno Kobono Pheliks reenah eseetham eh thoksiit an.”
Mounts then providing so that having set upon [them] Paul they may bring [him] safely to Felix the governor;
25 Eno saahaap elong ah ih Kobono Pheliks suh le ah raangmaat eta:
having written a letter (having *N(k)O*) form this:
26 “Elong elang Kludias Lisias, Kobono Pheliks: Jengkhaapse ra hala,
Claudius Lysias To the most excellent governor Felix Greeting.
27 Jehudi loong ah ih arah mina ah joh ano tek haat taat eh rumta. Ngah ih chaattang heh Room nok hah, erah thoidi sipaahi loong ah siit angno pang wangtang.
man this having been seized by the Jews and being about to be executed by them, having come up with the troop I rescued (him *k*) having learned that a Roman he is;
28 Tiimthoi tiimlam di Jehudi loong ih mat eh jota erah ah jat suh ngeh ih neng Ngoongthum theng ni taatsiit kaattang.
Resolving (then to know *N(k)O*) the charge on account of which they were accusing him I brought down (him *k*) to the council of them;
29 Eno Pool tek haat theng nyia phaatak nah saktheng abah ngah ih tajat jokang; neng ih mat eh joha abah neng Hootthe chengmui thoidi.
whom I found being accused concerning questions of the law of them, not however [of anything] worthy of death or of chains having accusation.
30 Eno Pool tek haat suh kaankoong rumha ngeh ih chaat angno, lakdamdam eh an reeni wang thuk suh liitang. Mat eh deejootte loong asuh tiit ah an reenah hoon theng ngeh ih baat rum hang.”
When was being disclosed then to me a plot that against the man (to be about to *k*) going to happen (by the Jews *K*) (at once *NK(O)*) I sent [him] to you having instructed also to the accusers to speak the [things] against him before you. (Farewell! *KO*)
31 Sipaahi loong ah dokchap eh rumta. Erah rangpheeja Pool ah Antipatris maang thokthok eh siitkaat rumta.
Indeed therefore [the] soldiers according to that ordered them having taken Paul brought [him] through (*k*) night to Antipatris.
32 Erah saalih adi neng lah ih kaatte arami loong ah sipaahi tongtheng ni ngaakwang rumta eno moksiitte loong ah Pool damdoh wakkaat thuk suh erah ni thiinhaat rumta.
On the now next day having allowed the horsemen (to go *N(k)O*) with him they returned to the barracks;
33 Kaisaria ni thok rum ano Kobono asuh le ah chokoh; Pool ah thiinhaat koh eh rumta.
who having entered into Caesarea and having delivered the letter to the governor presented also Paul to him.
34 Kobono ih le ah sok ano Pool suh o haate ah ngeh ih chengta. Silisia haate ngeh ih jat ano,
Having read [it] then (governor *k*) and having asked from what province he is and having learned that from Cilicia [he is],
35 liita, “An mat eh jootte loong thok ha doh tiit ah ma paat ih.” Eno Pool ah sipaahi loong asuh Kobono tongta nok adi ban thuk rumta.
I will hear fully you, he was saying, when also the accusers of you may have arrived. (having commanded *N(k)O*) (then *k*) in the Praetorium of Herod to be guarded him.
