2 Nga sah, Timothi suh: Seng loong wah Rangte nyia Teesu Jisu Kristo ih an suh heh tenthet, minchan nyia semroongroong ah toom koho.
to Timothy, my beloved child. Grace, mercy, peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
3 Ngah ih Rangte suh lakookmi liihang, sengte sengwah ih soom rumta ah likhiik ngah ih uh thung atak esa nawa ih heh rang ah soomhang. Sen loong ah rangwuung rangphe nga rangsoom nawa ih jen samthun rumha eno heh suh lakookmi liihang.
I give thanks to God, whom I serve from my ancestors with a clean conscience, as I have incessant mention of you in my prayers, night and day

having received the remembrance of the unhypocritical faith which is in you; which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and, I am persuaded that it is in you also.
6 Erah thoih ansuh baat hala nga lak ih taajoh taha adi an suh Rangte ih thaangmuh lakot kotaho ah ban maak ruh et uh.
On account of which cause I remind you to revive and refire the gift of God which is in you by the laying on of my hands.
7 Tumeah Rangte ih kotahe Chiiala rah ih seng ah choophoot ih hoon suh tah angka, erah nang ih bah, heh Chiiala ih seng suh chaan aphaan, minchan, nyia seng teeteewah jen soksam theng ah kotahe.
For God has not given us the spirit of cowardice; but of power and divine love and prudence.
8 Erah thoih, Teesu haaki angsuh larakri theng; adoleh Kristo tungthoih ngah phaatak ni tonglang asuh uh larakri theng. Erah nang ih bah, Ruurang Ese raangtaan ih cham anaang jen hui suh, chaan kotaho jun ih cham anaang etheng.
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor me his prisoner: but suffer affliction for the sake of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Seng ah heh mina ih hoon suh piipang hali nyia poon hali ah langla, seng mootkaat thoi ih tah angka, erah nang ih bah ah heh mootkaat raang ih heh tenthet je thoih. Saapoot maang thok ra ngakhoni Jisu Kristo mendi ba seng suh erah tenthet ah kohali, (aiōnios g166)
the one having saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times, (aiōnios g166)
10 enoothong, amadi seng Pangte nyi seng Teesu, Jisu Kristo ra taha rah ih dongjat thuk hali. Heh ih etek chaan aphaan ah matsiit etta nyia ruurangese jun ih latek roidong ah dong thukta.
but now having been made manifest through the appearing of Jesus Christ our Saviour, the one having indeed destroyed death, and lighted up life and immortality through the gospel,
11 Ruurang Ese ah tumbaat suh Rangte ih heh kaamwah nyia nyootte et danjoh tahang,
unto which I have been placed a herald, and an apostle, and teacher:
12 eno ngah ah erah loong ah thoih chamnaang lang. Ang abah uh, ngah tarakri kang, tumeah ngah o suh laalom lang erah ejat ehang, eno ngah ih kamkam jat hang heh ih heh Herangwuung maanglang lang ngah suh tumjih kotahang ah punpiipi ih thiin ah.
on account of which cause I indeed suffer these things: but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to stand guard over that which is committed unto me unto that day.
13 Ngah ih nyoot hala amiisak tiit loong ah an ih dangdang et kap uno enyootsok etjih toom ang uh, eno Kristo Jisu damdoh roop uno heh suh hanpi lam ih nyia minchan nah ban tongruh eh uh.
Hold fast the form of sound words which you heard with me, in the faith and divine love which is in Christ Jesus:
14 Seng damdi roong tongte Esa Chiiala, chaan nawa ih sen suh eseejih loong kotahan ah bankap ruh et an.
stand guard over the beautiful deposit through the Holy Ghost who dwells in us.
15 An ih jat et hu, Esia juungkhuung nawa mirep ih ngah ah thiinhaat et rum tahang, erah damdi Phiijelus nyia Harmojinis ih nep roong thiinhaat nyu tahang.
You know this, that all who are in Asia, of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes have turned away from me.
16 Teesu tenthet ah Onisphorus jaatang asuh toom je ah, tumeah heh ih saapoot rookwih kaban chosok wang tahang. Ngah phaatak ni tong angdi uh tarakriita,
May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because frequently he refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,
17 erah nang ih bah Room hadaang ni thok haano ngah maang japtup tup jamsok tahang.
and, being in Rome, he diligently sought me, and found me.
18 Seng Teesu ih heh kaat Rangwuung chang adoh heh suh tenthet minchan ah toom koh ah! Eno an ih rapneene ih jat hu Ephisas ni heh nga raangtaan ih mathan ih reeta rah ah.
May the Lord grant unto him to find mercy with the Lord in that day. And so many things as he ministered in Ephesus, you know better.
