2 Korinte 2

1 Erah raangtaan ih sen loong reenah we dongkhoom hangno sen loong thungthet thuk suh tanooktang.

For I determined this for myself, that I would not come to you again in sorrow.

2 Tiimnge liidi sen loong ah we thungthet thuk rumha bah nga tenroon thukte ah o ah we ang ah?

For if I make you sorry, then who will make me glad but he who is made sorry by me?

3 Erah thoidi nga ih le raangmaat tahang—tiimnge liidi ngah kaat kangno nga tenroon thukte loong ah phothungthih ah ngeh ah. Ngah ih jat ih rumhala, ngah tenroon angdi sen uh tenroon anglan ngeh ah.

And I wrote this very thing, so that, when I came, I would not have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy would be shared by all of you.

4 Sen loong asuh nga mikse ah janhaat angno hu ang ih le raangmaat tahang; erah langla sen thungthet thuksuh tah angka, sen loong ih nga minchan ah toomjat rum ah ngeh ih raangmaat tahang.

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made sorry, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.

5 Amadi, o bah uh mararah ih thungthet eh thukla, erah ngah tathungthet thuk rang sen thungthet thuk halan—thidokdok lah angka bah uh ah. (Arah jenglang ah langla heh raangtaan ih ngah naktoom thih ang.)

But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow, not to me, but in part (that I not press too heavily) to you all.

Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many;

so that on the contrary you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow.

Therefore I urge you to confirm your love toward him.

9 Erah raangtang abah sen loong ah ih phate joonnaam ah tamjen naan rumha eno jirep adi nga jeng chaatchaat tam ih rumla ngeh ih raangtang.

For to this end I also wrote, that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.

10 Mina loong mokre ah biin anaan hoon andi, ngah ih uh biin anaan ehang. Marah biin anaan hoonjih ah—erah biin anaan hoon ang adi—Jisu Kristo ngathong ni sen raangtaan ih hoon hang,

Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

11 erah seng sak nah Soitaan ah naktoom mi mokah ah ngeh ih reelang; tiimnge liidi seng ih heh mongtham kaankoong ah jat ehi.

that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

12 Kristo Ruurang Ese tiit ah baat suh Troas ni thok tahang adoh, erah nah heh mootkaat raang ih seng Teesu ih lam laangkoh ah jat etang.

Now when I came to Troas for the Good News of Christ, and when a door was opened to me in the Lord,

13 Enoothong seng phono Taitaas ah lajaptup keeno, Ngah rapne ih sootsaam tang. Erah raangtaan ih miloong ah damdi raajeng angno Mesidonia ni katang.

I had no relief for my spirit, because I did not find Titus, my brother, but taking my leave of them, I went out into Macedonia.

14 Enoothong Rangte suh seng ih jengseera ih! Tiimnge liidi Kristo damdi roop eno ejen lam ni Rangte ih siit hali. Rangte ih seng loong ah Kristo tiit noongrep ni tumbaat suh phontum likhiik ih maak hali.

Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.

15 Erah langla seng loong ah Kristo ih Rangte suh phontumkaang tummangmang eh tingtakkoh ah likhiik, erah mirep miraang reeni thoktum kala, mattekte angkoja adoleh khopi chote angkoja.

For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;

16 Eno erah tingtakta ah ematte loong raangtaan ebah neng tek thuk suh nambokbok; enoothong khopui chote loong raangtaan ebah roidong chotheng tummangmang?

to the one a stench from death to death; to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?

17 Seng loong ah wahoh loong ah likhiik tah angke, neng loong ah ih bah Rangte jengkhaap ah thaangne huikhaak sang arah likhiik mok samthun rumha; enoothong seng loong abah Rangte ih kaat thuk thoidi heh ngathong ni Kristo laksuh ngeh ih jengkongli.

For we are not, like so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
