1 Roidong jengkhaap tiit sen suh raang kohi ah rangphang diidook eje angta. Erah seng ih echaat eti, eno seng mik ih nep tup eti; amiimiisak seng ih tup eti, eno erah seng lak ih nep thaak taajoot choi.
That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
2 Arah roidong ah mik etup theng ang thoidi, seng ih etup eti; erah raangtaan ih erah tiit ah baat hi, marah Hewah damdi angta lathoon roidong tiit nyia marah seng suh dong jatthuk hali erah ah. (aiōnios g166)
and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
3 Marah kap tupti nyia marah kap chaatti erah tiit ah sen loong suh dong ja baat hi, erah doba seng loong damdoh heh Wah nyia heh Sah Jisu Kristo damdi rangsoom lom tongli adoh jen roongtong han.
that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no*) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
4 Arah seng ten boot thoon roon suh raanghi.
And these things write (we ourselves *N(K)O*) so that the joy of us may be completed.
5 Belam heh Sah jinnah wa chaatti tiitkhaap ah baat hi ah langla amah: Rangte ah weephaak, eno heh jiinni laamang tah jaatjaat jeeka.
And is this the (message *NK(O)*) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
6 Erah ang abah heh damdi roongtongli liihi, eno rangnak nah moktong ibah, sengre sengraang nyia sengjeng sengkong ni eleek angli.
If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
7 Enoothong heh weephaak ni tongla likhiik seng uh weephaak nah tong ibah—seng loong ah rangsoom roongtong eli, eno heh Sah Jisu sih rah ih seng rangdah ah sa haat ehali.
If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K*) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
8 Seng loong ih seng rangdah tajeeka mokli ibah, seng teeteewah mokwaanhi, amiisak ah seng taang ni tajeeka.
If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
9 Enoothong seng ih Rangte suh seng rangdah ah biin anaan he mok baat ibah, heh kakham ah tah beehaat ka ang ah eno marah epun ah erah re ah: heh ih biin anaan ehe eno timthan ethih reeraang dowa seng loong ah saasiit ehe.
If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Seng rangdah tah dake mok li ibah, Rangte ah eleek ngeh li hi, eno heh jengkhaap ah seng taang ni tajeeka ang ah.
If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
