< Romans 11 >
1 Moi koi ase titia, Isor pora Tai nijor manu khan ke ninda korise naki? Kitia bhi nohoi. Kelemane moi nijor bhi Israel manu ekjon, Abraham laga khandan aru Benjamin laga jati laga ekjon ase.
I say then, did God reject his people? May it never be. For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 Isor pora Tai nijor manu kunkhan ke Tai age pora janikena thakise taikhan ke ninda kora nai. Apnikhan pora Shastro te Elijah pora Isor ke Israel bhirodh te ki anurodh korise etu jana nai naki?
God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleaded with God against Israel?
3 “Probhu, taikhan pora apuni laga bhabobadi khan ke morai dise, taikhan apuni laga girja laga saman rakha khan bhangai dise. Moi ekla he bachi jaise, aru etiya taikhan moike morai dibole bisari ase.”
“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have broken down your altars. I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.”
4 Kintu Isor taike ki jowab dise? “Ami nijor nimite sath hajar manu rakhi kene ase jun khan jhukikena Baal ke puja kora nai.”
But what does God's answer say to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bent the knee to Baal.”
5 Etiya bhi eneka he ase, etiya laga somoite bhi bisi komti manu ke he basi se Isor laga kripa pora.
Even so then, at this present time also there is a remnant because of the choice of grace.
6 Hoile bhi jodi etu anugraha pora hoi, tinehoile etu to tai laga kaam pora nohoi. Nohoile kripa to kripa nohoi jabo.
But if it is by grace, it is no longer by works. Otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
7 Tinehoile ki ase? Israel laga manu khan ki bisarise, etu panai, hoile bhi Isor pora basi luwa manu khan etu paise, aru dusra manu khan to mon tan hoi jaise.
What then? The thing that Israel was seeking, it did not obtain, but the chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened.
8 Pobitro kitab te likha nisena: “Isor pora taikhan ke murkho dimag laga atma dise, suku dise nadikhibo nimite aru kandise nahunibo nimite, aji laga din tak.”
It is just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of dullness, eyes so that they should not see, and ears so that they should not hear, to this very day.”
9 Aru David koise, “Taikhan laga mez ke jhali aru phang hoi jabo dibi, Aru taikhan phasibo aru saja pabo.
Then David says, “Let their table become a net and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 Taikhan laga suku ke andhar hoi jabo dibi, titia taikhan eku sabo na paribo, Aru hodai taikhan laga komor niche kori kene thaki jabo.”
Let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and bend their backs continually.”
11 Etu karone moi hudi ase, “Taikhan giri jabole theng te thogar lagise naki?” Kitia bhi eneka nohoi. Kintu taikhan paapi howa karone poritran to Porjati khan logote ahi ase, titia Israel khan suku jolibo.
I say then, “Did they stumble so as to fall?” May it never be. Instead, by their failure, salvation has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Etiya taikhan paapi huwa to prithibi laga dhun nimite ase, aru jodi taikhan pora harai diya to Porjati khan laga dhun ase, titia taikhan pura hobole din ahile, kiman bisi dhuni hobo?
Now if their failure is the riches of the world, and if their loss is the riches of the Gentiles, how much greater will their completion be?
13 Etiya Porjati khan, moi apuni khan ke koi ase, jitia tak moi Porjati nimite apostle kaam kori bole dise, eneka moi laga kaam te phutani kori ase.
But now I am speaking to you Gentiles, and as long as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry.
14 Titia ji hoile bhi moi nijor gaw mangso laga Yehudi khan ke suku julibole dibo. Titia taikhan majot te kunba to bachai lobo pare.
Perhaps I will provoke to jealousy those who are of my own flesh. Perhaps we will save some of them.
15 Kelemane jodi taikhan ke chari diya motlob prithibi logot mil-milap hoile, titia taikhan pora grohon kora to mora pora jibon pa nohoi?
For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
16 Kintu jodi prothom phol to pobitro ase, tinehoile etu nimite diya maida bhi pobitro ase. Aru jodi ghas laga shikor to pobitro ase koile, daal sob to pobitro ase.
If the firstfruits are reserved, so is the lump of dough. If the root is reserved, so are the branches.
17 Kintu jodi kunba daal ke bhangai diye, aru jodi apuni, kun jongol laga oliv ghas ase, kolom kori kene dusra majot te bandhi dise, aru taikhan logote oliv ghas laga shikor logote eke hoise,
But if some of the branches were broken off, if you, a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them, and if you shared with them in the rich root of the olive tree,
18 tinehoile dusra daal usorte phutani na koribi. Kintu jodi apuni phutani kore koile etu yaad koribi, shikor ke modot diya to apuni nohoi, kintu shikor pora he apuni ke modot di ase.
do not boast over the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who supports the root, but the root that supports you.
19 Titia apuni kobo, “Daal kunba bhangi ja to moike kolom kori lobole nimite he thakise.”
You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”
20 Etu thik ase. Taikhan laga abiswas pora taikhan bhangi jaise, kintu biswas pora apnikhan mojbut te khara koridi ase. Etu karone nijorke dangor nabhabi bhi, kintu bhoi koribi.
That is true. Because of their unbelief they were broken off, but you stand firm because of your faith. Do not think too highly of yourself, but fear.
21 Kelemane jodi Isor pora asol ghas laga daal ke nabachaile, apuni ke bhi nabachabo.
For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
22 Etu karone, Isor pora morom laga kaam kora to jani lobi: bisi dangor dukh Yehudi khan uporte girise, kintu Isor laga daya apuni khan nimite hoise, jodi apuni khan Tai laga daya hisab te thakile. Nohoile apuni khan ke kati phelai dibo.
Look at, then, the kind actions and the severity of God: severity came on the Jews who fell, but God's kindness comes on you, if you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
23 Aru taikhan hoilebi, jodi taikhan laga biswas te nathakile bhi, taikhan ke kolom kori lobo. Kelemane taikhan ke aru bhi kolom kori lobole Isor logot takot ase.
And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in. For God is able to graft them in again.
24 Kelemane jodi apnikhan, ene jongol laga oliv ghas pora kati loise, aru niyom nohoi kene pali thaka oliv ghas te kolom kori loise koile, titia etu Yehudi khan, jun khan he asol daal ase, taikhan ke anikena tai laga ghas te kolom nakoribo naki?
For if you were cut out of what is by nature a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into a good olive tree, how much more will these Jews, who are the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree?
25 Kelemane bhai khan, ki lukaikene ase, etu apuni khan najanikena thakibo dibo mon nai, kele koile apnikhan nijor bhabona te nijor to gyaani nisena nabhabibo le. Etu lukai kene thaka to Porjati khan kiman basi kene ase, taikhan purah nohua tak, olop somoi nimite Israel manu mon tan hoi jabole dise.
For I do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, of this mystery, in order that you will not be wise in your own thinking. This mystery is that a partial hardening has occurred in Israel, until the completion of the Gentiles come in.
26 Likha thaka nisena, Israel manu khan sob eneka bachai lobo: “Zion pora Udhar-Korta ahibo. Tai he Jacob pora Isor najana khan logote paapkhan hatai dibo,
Thus all Israel will be saved, just as it is written: “Out of Zion will come the Deliverer. He will remove ungodliness from Jacob,
27 Aru taikhan laga paap moi kitia hatai dibo, taikhan logot te kosom etu hobo.”
and this will be my covenant with them, when I will take away their sins.”
28 Susamachar hisab te hoile, apnikhan nimite he taikhan to apnikhan laga dushman ase. Kintu basi luwa hisab te hoile, taikhan laga baba khan nimite taikhan uporte morom dise.
As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake. But as far as election is concerned, they are beloved because of their forefathers.
29 Kelemane Isor pora diya uphar aru Tai pora mata to kitia bhi bodla-bodli koribo napare.
For the gifts and the call of God are unchangeable.
30 Kineka apnikhan ekbar Isor kotha namana khan thakise, kintu etiya to Yehudi khan pora Isor kotha namana pora apuni Porjati khan daya paise,
For you were formerly disobedient to God, but now you have received mercy because of their disobedience.
31 aru etu nisena, Yehudi khan bhi kotha namana hoi kene ase. Aru apnikhan logote ki daya dise taikhan bhi etiya daya pabo nimite ase.
In the same way, now these Jews have been disobedient. The result was that by the mercy shown to you they may also now receive mercy.
32 Kelemane Isor pora manu sobke kotha namana te rakhidise, titia Tai laga daya to sob manu pora pabo. (eleēsē )
For God has shut up all into disobedience, in order that he might show mercy on all. (eleēsē )
33 Oh, Isor laga buddhi, aru gyaan kiman bhi dhun aru bisi ase! Tai pora manu khan bisar kora aru Tai laga bera rasta kun pora bujhi bo!
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways beyond discovering!
34 “Kelemane Probhu laga monte ki ase etu kun he janibo, nohoile taike buddhi dibole kun ase?
“For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has become his advisor?
35 Nohoile kun pora poila Isor ke kiba dise, Junke Isor pora wapas tirabole lagibo?”
Or who has first given anything to God, that God must repay him?”
36 Kelemane sob bostu Tai pora ahise, Tai dwara hoise aru Tai karone he ase. Tai laga mohima hodai hobi. Amen. (aiōn )
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen. (aiōn )
