< Revelation 18 >

1 Etu pichete moi aru ekjon sorgodoth ke sorgo pora ahi thaka dikhise. Tai logote adhikar thakise, aru pura prithibi Tai laga Mohima pora bhorta hoi jaise.
After these things I saw another angel descending out of the heaven, having great authority: and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 Tai kandi kene dangor awaj pora koise, “Mohan Babylon giri jaise! Tai bhoot khan thaka jaga hoi jaise, Sob biya atma laga ghor, Aru sob biya aru letera chiriya laga ghor.
And he cried with a strong voice, saying, Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen, and has become the habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hated bird;
3 Sob desh khan tai laga bebichar laga draikha ros khaikena nisa hoise. Sob prithibi laga raja khan tai logote bebichar kaam korise. Prithibi laga vyapari manu khan bhi tai kineka mangso laga itcha te thaki ase, etu saikene dhun hoise.”
because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the fury of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have been enriched through the might of her luxury.
4 Titia moi sorgo pora aru ekta awaj koi thaka hunise, “Tai pora ulaikene ahibi, Moi laga manu khan Tumikhan tai laga paap te bhag nolobole nimite, Aru etu pora tai pabole thaka dukh tumi uporte nahibo nimite.
And I heard another voice out of the heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye have not fellowship in her sins, and that ye do not receive of her plagues:
5 Kelemane Babylon laga paapkhan sorgo tak ponchise, Aru Isor pora tai laga paap kaam khan sob yaad kori ase.
for her sins have been heaped on one another up to the heaven, and God has remembered her unrighteousnesses.
6 Tai ki dise etu wapas taike di dibi Aru tai laga kaam saikene taike aru bisi dibi; Aru tai milai kene rakha kup te, tai nimite aru bisi milai kene taike di dibi.
Recompense her even as she has recompensed; and double [to her] double, according to her works. In the cup which she has mixed, mix to her double.
7 Kelemane tai nijorke dangor kori kene aram pora thakise, Taike bisi dukh chinta aru mon dukh dibi. Kelemane tai nijor laga monte koi, ‘Moi rani nisena bohi ase; Moi bidhowa mahila nohoi, Aru moi kitia bhi kanda nadikhibo.’
So much as she has glorified herself and lived luxuriously, so much torment and grief give to her. Because she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and I am not a widow; and I shall in no wise see grief:
8 Etu karone ek dinte he tai laga dukh ahibo: Mora, kanda, aru akaal ahibo. Taike jui pora khai dibo, Kelemane Probhu Isor Mohan ase, aru Tai he taike bisar koribo.”
for this reason in one day shall her plagues come, death and grief and famine, and she shall be burnt with fire; for strong [is the] Lord God who has judged her.
9 Prithibi laga raja khan kun tai laga pichete jai kene sob bebichar korise, tai juli kene dhuwa ulai thaka to dikhi kene kandi kene hala koribo.
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication, and lived luxuriously with her, shall weep and wail over her, when they see the smoke of her burning,
10 Taikhan dur te khara koribo, aru tai dukh pa to dikhi kene kobo, “Oh, oh mohan sheher, Babylon takot thaka ekta sheher! Kelemane ek ghanta bhitor te tumi laga bisar hoi jaise.”
standing afar off, through fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! for in one hour thy judgment is come.
11 Titia prithibi laga dhun manu khan taike saikene kandise, kelemane tai laga saman khan kun bhi nakina hoise-
And the merchants of the earth weep and grieve over her, because no one buys their lading any more;
12 bahar pora ana suna, chandi, daam laga pathor, moti, mihin kapra, begoni rong kapra, resham kapra, lal rong laga kapra, sob kisim laga bhal aru daam citron laga khuri, bhal para bona bati khan, pitol, luha, aru marble,
lading of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and pearl, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet dye, and all thyine wood, and every article in ivory, and every article in most precious wood, and in brass, and in iron, and in marble,
13 masala khan, mitha sugandh tel, angur ros, kisim laga tel, mihin pora sapha kori rakha atta, saguli aru goru, ghora aru ghora gari, noukar aru manu laga atma khan.
and cinnamon, and amomum, and incense, and unguent, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots, and of bodies, and souls of men.
14 Tumi laga pakki juwa phol, tumi laga atma laga itcha, sob tumi pora jai jaise. Sob aram aru dikhawa tumi pora jai jaise, aru etu kitia bhi wapas napabo.
And the ripe fruits which were the lust of thy soul have departed from thee, and all fair and splendid things have perished from thee, and they shall not find them any more at all.
15 Etu saman laga malik khan kun taike saikene dhuni hoisele etiya tai pora dur hoi jaise, kelemane tai laga dukh paikene thaki thaka to saikene bhoi lagise aru dur te jai kene khara hoi jaise.
The merchants of these things, who had been enriched through her, shall stand afar off through fear of her torment, weeping and grieving,
16 Taikhan kobo, “Oh, oh etu mohan sheher Kun bhal kapra lagai kene thakise, Begoni rong te, aru lal rong kapra lagai kene thakise, Aru suna pora bhorta hoi kene, Daam laga heera, aru moti khan lagaikena thakise!
saying, Woe, woe, the great city, which [was] clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet, and had ornaments of gold and precious stones and pearls!
17 Ek ghanta bhitor te tai laga sob dhun to khotom hoi jaise.” Sob jahaaj laga henedhikari khan ta te safar kora khan, aru cholai thaka aru kiman manu etu samundar pora kamai thakise, dur te khara hoi jaise.
for in one hour so great riches has been made desolate. And every steersman, and every one who sailed to any place, and sailors, and all who exercise their calling on the sea, stood afar off,
18 Taikhan kandise jitia tai juli thaka laga dhuwa to dikhise. Taikhan koise, “Mohan sheher nisena aru kuntu sheher ase?”
and cried, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What [city] is like to the great city?
19 Taikhan laga matha pora dhula jharise, aru jor pora kandise, mon dukh korise, aru koise, “Oh, oh etu mohan sheher Kun logote taikhan laga jahaaj ase Samundar te tai laga dhun pora dhuni hoise Kelemane ek ghanta te taike khotom kori dise.”
and cast dust upon their heads, and cried, weeping and grieving, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, in which all that had ships in the sea were enriched through her costliness! for in one hour she has been made desolate.
20 “Tai uporte khushi koribi, O sorgo, Aru tumi pobitro khan, apostle khan, aru bhabobadi khan, Kelemane Isor pora he tumikhan laga bisar tai uporte kori dise!”
Rejoice over her, heaven, and [ye] saints and apostles and prophets; for God has judged your judgment upon her.
21 Titia ekta mohan sorgodoth pora dangor pathor uthaikene samundar te phelai dise, aru koise, “Etu nisena, Babylon, mohan sheher ke bhi, Dukh te phelai dibo Aru taike kitia bhi nadikha hoi jabo.
And a strong angel took up a stone, as a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall Babylon the great city be cast down, and shall be found no more at all;
22 Gana baja manu khan, Aru bhigul baja manu khan laga gana aru Tumi kitia bhi nahunibo. Bhal saman bona manu aru tumi Khan kitia bhi napabo. Dhaan khunda laga awaj aru Tumikhan kitia bhi nahunibo.
and voice of harp-singers and musicians and flute-players and trumpeters shall not be heard any more at all in thee, and no artificer of any art shall be found any more at all in thee, and voice of millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee,
23 Saaki laga ujala Tumikhan ke kitia bhi ujala nadibo. Shadi kora mahila aru mota laga awaj aru Kitia bhi nahunibo, Kelemane tumikhan laga vyaparikhan to prithibi laga raja khan thakise, Aru pura desh tumikhan laga jadu-tona pora thogai dise.
and light of lamp shall shine no more at all in thee, and voice of bridegroom and bride shall be heard no more at all in thee; for thy merchants were the great ones of the earth; for by thy sorcery have all the nations been deceived.
24 Bhabobadi aru pobitro manu khan laga khun tai uporte paise, Aru taikhan sob laga khun, kunkhan ke etu prithibi te morai dise.”
And in her was found [the] blood of prophets and saints, and of all the slain upon the earth.
