Philemon 1
1 Paul, Jisu Khrista laga koidi, aru moi logote bhai Timothy, duijon pora Philemon ke, jun amikhan laga morom sathi aru susamachar laga prochar korate eke logote kaam kora jon ase,
Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy, a brother: to Philemon, our beloved and fellow labourer;
2 aru biswas te amikhan laga bhoini Apphia ke, aru Archippus amikhan laga sipahi ke, aru tumi laga ghor te joma kora girja ke.
And to Appia, our dearest sister, and to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the church which is in thy house:
3 Baba Isor aru Probhu Jisu Khrista laga anugraha aru shanti tumikhan logote thaki bole dibi.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Moi hodai Isor ke dhanyavad di thake. Moi laga prathana te tumikhan ke yaad kori thake.
I give thanks to my God, always making a remembrance of thee in my prayers.
5 Tumikhan Probhu Jisu Khrista logote morom aru biswas thaka aru ekjon-ekjon logote thaka to moi hunise.
Hearing of thy charity and faith, which thou hast in the Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints:
6 Moi prathana kori ase tumikhan biswas pora lok kori thaka to amikhan majote Khrista dwara ki bhal ase, etu sob aru bhi bhal pora janibo paribo.
That the communication of thy faith may be made evident in the acknowledgment of every good work, that is in you in Christ Jesus.
7 Tumikhan laga morom thaka nimite moi bisi khushi aru aram paise, kelemane, tumi, moi laga bhai, pora pobitro khan laga mon pora taja kori dise.
For I have had great joy and consolation in thy charity, because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.
8 Etu karone, moi Khrista laga naam pora mon dangor hoi kene tumikhan ke ki kori bole lage etu hukum dibole pare,
Wherefore though I have much confidence in Christ Jesus, to command thee that which is to the purpose:
9 kintu morom thaka nimite, moi tumikhan ke anurodh kori ase- Moi, Paul, ekjon bura manu aru etiya Jisu Khrista nimite ekjon koidi.
For charity sake I rather beseech, whereas thou art such a one, as Paul an old man, and now a prisoner also of Jesus Christ.
10 Moi laga bacha Onesimus ke bhabona kori kene hudi ase, moi loha laga rusi pora bandhi kene thaka homoi te tai laga baba hoi jaise.
I beseech thee for my son, whom I have begotten in my bands, Onesimus,
11 Tai ekta homoi te tumikhan nimite eku kaam laga thaka nai, kintu etiya tai tumi aru moi nimite bisi kaam laga ase.
Who hath been heretofore unprofitable to thee, but now is profitable both to me and thee,
12 Moi taike tumikhan logote pathai di ase, tai moi laga bisi morom kora ekjon ase.
Whom I have sent back to thee. And do thou receive him as my own bowels.
13 Moi itcha thakise, jitia tak moi susamachar prochar kora nimite loha pora bandhi kene ase, titia tak taike moi logote rakhi kene tumikhan laga naam te moike sewa kori bole nimite.
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bands of the gospel:
14 Kintu moi tumikhan ke nahudi kene eku kaam kori bole mon nai. Moi tumikhan pora bhal kaam kori thaka to hoile ene pora koribo dibole mon nai, kintu ki bhal kaam kori ase etu bhal itcha pora hobole lage.
But without thy counsel I would do nothing: that thy good deed might not be as it were of necessity, but voluntary.
15 Etu karone tai tumikhan pora olop din nimite alag hoi jaisele, aru etu pora hodai nimite taike tumi wapas pai jobole nimite. (aiōnios g166)
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee, that thou mightest receive him again for ever: (aiōnios g166)
16 Tai aru manu laga sewa nokorile, kintu tai ekjon sewa kora manu pora bhi bhal hoi kene morom thaka bhai hobo. Moi taike bisi morom kore, aru tumike bhi bisi morom kore, mangso pora bhi aru Probhu Jisu laga naam pora bhi.
Not now as a servant, but instead of a servant, a most dear brother, especially to me: but how much more to thee both in the flesh and in the Lord?
17 Jodi moi bhi tumikhan laga sathi ase koile, moike jineka tumikhan pora loise etu nisena, taike bhi loi lobi.
If therefore thou count me a partner, receive him as myself.
18 Kintu jodi tai tumikhan logote kiba biya korise aru dibole baki ase koile, etu moi uporte hali dibi.
And if he hath wronged thee in any thing, or is in thy debt, put that to my account.
19 Moi, Paul, moi laga nijor hath pora etu likhi ase. Moi nijor sob to wapas kori dibo- aru tumikhan nijorke moi logote dibole baki ase!
I Paul have written it with my own hand: I will repay it: not to say to thee, that thou owest me thy own self also.
20 Hoi, bhai, Probhu laga naam pora moi nimite ekta kaam kori dibi; Khrista nimite moi laga mon to taja kori dibi.
Yea, brother. May I enjoy thee in the Lord. Refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 Tumi pora kotha mani kene thaka to moi bharosa ase. Aru moi kowa kotha pora bhi tumi bisi koribo koi kene moi tumike etu chithi likhi ase.
Trusting in thy obedience, I have written to thee: knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
22 Aru etu logote, etiya moi nimite ekta kamra taiyar kori kene rakhibi, moi asha ase tumi laga prathana pora moi joldi tumi logote wapas ahibo paribo.
But withal prepare me also a lodging. For I hope that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
23 Epaphras, Jisu Khrista laga kaam nimite moi logote bondhi ghor te thaka sathi, tai bhi tumike salam jonai ase.
There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus;
24 Mark, Aristarach, Demas, aru Luke, moi logot kaam kori thaka khan sob pora bhi salam jonai ase.
Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke my fellow labourers.
25 Jisu Khrista laga anugrah tumikhan sob logot hodai thaki bole dibi. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
