< Galatians 4 >
1 Kintu moi koi ase, uttoradhikari to, jitia tak tai chutu bacha ase, tai nijor laga mati bari bisi thakile bhi, tai manu laga sewa kora manu nisena he ase.
But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a bondservant, though he is lord of all;
2 Kintu bacha khan ke manu khan pora sai dibo jitia tak Tai laga Baba pora thik homoi to nadiye.
but is under guardians and stewards until the term appointed of the father.
3 Etu karone, jitia amikhan bacha thakise, amikhan prithibi laga niyom hisab te chuli kene sewa kori thakise.
So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the rudiments of the world:
4 Kintu jitia thik homoi hoise, Isor he Tai laga Putro ke pathaise, ekjon mahila pora jonom korise, niyom te jonom korise.
but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 Kunkhan niyom nichete dabi kene ase taikhan ke udhar kori bole nimite Tai eneka korise, etu pora amikhan bhi Tai laga bacha khan hoi jabole nimite.
that he might redeem them which were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 Kelemane apuni khan bacha khan ase, Isor he Tai laga Putro laga Atma moi khan laga monte pathai dise, kunke, “Sorgote thaka Baba,” koi kene mate.
And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Etu nimite apuni khan aru sewa kora manu nohoi, kintu ekjon chokra ase, aru jodi ekjon chokra ase koile, titia to apuni bhi Isor dwara Tai laga ekjon uttoradhikari hoise.
So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
8 Kintu, poila somoite to, tumikhan Isor ke najani kene thakise, aru tumikhan ke sewa koribo dise jun khan, niyom pora Isor khan nohoi.
Howbeit at that time, not knowing God, ye were in bondage to them which by nature are no gods:
9 Kintu etiya apuni khan Isor ke jani loise, aru Isor pora bhi apuni khan ke jani loise, titia hoile kele apuni khan komjur aru biya rasta phale jai ase? Apuni khan aru bhi taikhan laga nichete sewa kori bole mon ase?
but now that ye have come to know God, or rather to be known of God, how turn ye back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desire to be in bondage over again?
10 Apuni khan notun din, notun chand, notun saal aru mohina khan mani thake!
Ye observe days, and months, and seasons, and years.
11 Ki kaam apuni khan nimite moi kori dise etu eku labh nathaka hoi jabole bhoi lagi ase.
I am afraid of you, lest by any means I have bestowed labour upon you in vain.
12 Bhai khan, moi apuni khan ke anurodh kori ase, moi nisena hoi jabi, kelemane moi apuni khan nisena hoi jaise. Apuni khan moike eku biya kaam kori diya nai.
I beseech you, brethren, be as I [am], for I [am] as ye [are]. Ye did me no wrong:
13 Kintu apuni khan jane moi gaw pora bemar thaka nimite etu bhal kotha khan apuni khan ke poila pora prochar kori dise.
but ye know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you the first time:
14 Moi laga gaw saikene apuni khan dukh pai ase, hoile bhi apuni khan moike chara nai. Aru apuni khan moike Isor laga sorgodoth thaka nisena bhal kori kene moike saise, Jisu Khrista to moi he thaka nisena.
and that which was a temptation to you in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but ye received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
15 Titia, hoile, apuni laga asirbad to etiya kote ase? Moi apuni khan ke etu gawahi di ase, jodi parise koile, apuni khan nijor pora nijor laga suku ulaikene moike di dibole thakise.
Where then is that gratulation of yourselves? for I bear you witness, that, if possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
16 Etu nimite, moi apuni khan ke hosa kotha to koi diya nimite apuni laga dushman hoi jaise?
So then am I become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 Taikhan apuni ke jiti lobole nimite joli ase, kintu bhal nimite nohoi. Taikhan apuni ke chup kori dibole mon ase, etu pora apuni taikhan uporte he mon thakibo nimite.
They zealously seek you in no good way; nay, they desire to shut you out, that ye may seek them.
18 Kintu hodai bhal kaam kori bole nimite mon jola to bhal ase, aru khali moi apuni khan logote thaka homoi te nohoi.
But it is good to be zealously sought in a good matter at all times, and not only when I am present with you.
19 Moi laga chutu bacha khan, jitia tak Jisu Khrista apuni khan bhitor te jonom noloi titia tak moi ekjon mahila pora bacha jonom dibole dukh pa nisena pai thakibo.
My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ be formed in you,
20 Kintu moi itcha kore apuni khan logote thaki kene moi kotha kora laga adat to bodli kori bole nimite, kelemane moi apuni khan nimite bisi chinta ase.
yea, I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I am perplexed about you.
21 Moike kobi, apuni khan kun niyom laga nichete thaki bole mon ase, apuni khan niyom to mani kene nathake naki?
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 Isor kotha te likha ase, Abraham laga duijon bacha thakise, ekjon to sewa kora maiki laga bacha aru ekjon to ajad thaka maiki laga bacha.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman.
23 Kintu ekjon sewa kora maiki gaw pora jonom loise, aru ekjon to kosom diya nisena ajad thaka maiki pora jonom loise.
Howbeit the [son] by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the [son] by the freewoman [is born] through promise.
24 Eitu khan sob to ekta dristanto nisena koi dibole nimite, kelemane etu maiki khan duita kosom loi kene ase. Ekjon to hoile Sinai pahar pora ase aru tai nokor kora bacha khan ke jonom dise. Tai Hagar ase.
Which things contain an allegory: for these [women] are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar.
25 Etiya Hagar to Sinai Pahar nisena ase, juntu Arabia te ase; aru tai etiya laga Jerusalem nisena bhi ase, kelemane tai laga bacha khan ke loi kene sewa kori kene thaki ase.
Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children.
26 Kintu Jerusalem kun to uporte ase, etu to ajad ase, aru tai moi khan laga ama ase.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.
27 Kelemane Isor kotha te eneka likha ase, “Khushi koribi maiki, kun bacha jonom kori bole napare; Hala kori kene khushi pora kandibi, apuni khan kun bacha jonom kora laga dukh panai; Kelemane ekta chari diye maiki laga bacha khan he bisi ase Jun maiki khan laga mota taikhan logote ase.”
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her which hath the husband.
28 Kintu apuni, bhai khan, Isaac nisena, kosom diya laga bacha khan ase.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
29 Kintu ekta homoi te kun gaw mangso pora jonom loise Isor Atma pora jonom luwa ekjon ke dukh dise. Etiya bhi eneka ase.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Kintu Isor kotha pora ki koi ase? “Sewa kora laga maiki aru tai laga chokra ke pathai dibi. Kelemane sewa kora maiki laga chokra aru ajad thaka maiki laga chokra eke logote thaki bole na paribo.”
Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman.
31 Etu nimite, bhai khan, moi khan sewa kora maiki laga bacha khan nohoi, kintu ajad thaka maiki laga bacha khan ase.
Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman.
