< Ephesians 6 >

1 Bacha khan, Probhu dwara ama baba laga kotha mani bhi, kele koile etu he thik ase.
Children, obey your parents in [the] Lord, for this is just.
2 “Tumi laga baba aru ama ke sonman koribi” -juntu poila hukum ase kosom thaki kene-,
Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
3 “Titia tumi nimite bhal hobo, aru tumi prithibi te lamba jibon thaki bole paribo.”
that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest be long-lived on the earth.
4 Baba khan, apnikhan laga bacha khan ke khong hobole nadibi. Hoile bhi, taikhan ke Isor laga niyom te aru hisab te dangor koribi.
And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
5 Sewak khan, tumikhan laga mon sapha pora, malik logote kotha mani kene, bhoi pora aru kapi kene thaki bhi, jineka Khrista usorte thake,
Bondmen, obey masters according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as to the Christ;
6 khali suku usorte nohoi, jineka manu khan ke khushi kori bole nimite kore, hoile bhi Khrista laga noukar khan nisena, atma pora Isor laga monjur koribi,
not with eye-service as men-pleasers; but as bondmen of Christ, doing the will of God from [the] soul,
7 bhal niyom pora sewa koribi Isor laga naam pora, manu laga naam pora nohoikena,
serving with good will as to the Lord, and not to men;
8 jani bhi jun manu bhal kaam koribo, etu manu Isor pora pabo, tai nokor hoile bhi nahoile ajad thaka hoile bhi.
knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.
9 Malik khan, taikhan nimite bhi eneka he kori bhi. Gali kene bhoi nakhila bhi. Apnikhan jani ase, apnikhan aru taikhan laga Malik sorgote ase, aru Tai logot te eku bhagsak nai.
And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him.
10 Hekh te, Probhu logote thakibi aru tai laga takot te sakti pabi.
For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.
11 Isor laga sob hathiar khan lagai lobi, titia apnikhan bhoot laga chalak khan bhirodh te khara kori bole paribo.
Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil:
12 Kilekoile amikhan gaw mangso aru khun logote lorai kora nohoi, hoile bhi biya niyom khan logote, biya takot khan logote, etu duniya laga andhar-laga-rajakhan laga biya khan logote, utcha jaga khan te thaka biya atma khan logote lorai kori ase. (aiōn g165)
because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn g165)
13 Etu nimite apuni khan Isor laga hathiar khan loi lobi, titia apuni khan biya dinte khara hobole paribo, aru sob kori kene, khara hobo.
For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.
14 Khara hobi, apuni laga komor te hosa bandi lobi, aru chati te dharmikta bandi lobi,
Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 aru apuni laga theng khan te susamachar laga shanti nimite juta lagai kene taiyar koribi.
and shod your feet with [the] preparation of the glad tidings of peace:
16 Sob somoite, biswas laga dhal lobi, etu hoile biya jon pora jui laga tir mari thaka to khotom kori bole paribo.
besides all [these], having taken the shield of faith with which ye will be able to quench all the inflamed darts of the wicked one.
17 Aru poritran laga loha-laga-topi pindhi lobi, aru Atma laga dao, juntu Isor laga kotha ase.
Have also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's word;
18 Sob somoite Pobitro Atma pora prathana kori bhi, ki lagi ase etu sob mangi kene prathana koribi. Etu sob koribo nimite, hodai taiyar aru hoshiar thakibi aru pobitro manu khan nimite hodai prathana koribi,
praying at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication in [the] Spirit, and watching unto this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;
19 Aru ami nimite to, kotha kobole nimite sandesh dibi, tine hole ami bhoi nakori kene mukh khuli bo, susamachar laga lukai kene rakha janai dibole nimite.
and for me in order that utterance may be given to me in [the] opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the glad tidings,
20 -Juntu nimite moi noukar hoi kene ekjon janai diya manu ase-, titia moi bhoi nakori kene kobo, jineka moi kobo lage.
for which I am an ambassador [bound] with a chain, that I may be bold in it as I ought to speak.
21 Aru ami ki kori ase, kineka kori ase apuni khan bhi janibo, Tychicus, Probhu te thaka ekjon morom aru biswas thaka bhai pora apnikhan ke koi dibo,
But in order that ye also may know what concerns me, how I am getting on, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in [the] Lord, shall make all things known to you;
22 Junke moi apnikhan usorte thik etu nimite he pathai ase, titia amikhan laga kaam khan janibole paribo, aru apnikhan laga mon dangor hobo.
whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that ye may know of our affairs and that he may encourage your hearts.
23 Sob bhai khan logote shanti aru morom thakibi, biswas pora Baba Isor aru Jisu khrista te.
Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Aru kunkhan Probhu Jisu Khrista ke kitia bhi biya nohobole laga morom kore taikhan logote Isor laga anugraha hobo dibi.
Grace with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption.
