< Ephesians 2 >

1 Aru apnikhan poila to kotha namana aru paap te morikene asele,
And you, when you were dead in your offences, and sins,
2 utu somoite apuni khan etu prithibi laga niyom hisab te berai thakise, aru apnikhan hawa atma laga takot te berai thakise, juntu atma etiya kotha namane laga manu khan logote kaam kori ase. (aiōn g165)
Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief: (aiōn g165)
3 Amikhan bhi taikhan nisena he thakise, biya laga bhabona aru gaw mangso ke khushi koribo dise. Etu nimite, dusra khan nisena he, amikhan to Isor laga khong te julibole thaka bacha khan ase.
In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:
4 Kintu Isor to daya te bisi dhuni ase, aru tai laga dangor morom pora amikhan ke bisi morom korise.
But God, (who is rich in mercy, ) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,
5 Jitia amikhan tai laga kotha namana nimite mori thakise, Tai amikhan ke Khrista logote jinda kori dise- anugrah pora poritran anidise-
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by whose grace you are saved, )
6 aru Tai logote amikhan bhi jinda uthai dise aru sorgo jaga sob te Jisu Khrista logot bohi bole dise,
And hath raised us up together, and hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus.
7 etu nimite ahibole yug te etu jhuki bole napara dangor anugrah ki Tai daya kori kene Jisu Khrista te amikhan ke dikhai dise, etu sobke janai dibo karone ase. (aiōn g165)
That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 Kile mane biswas dwara Isor laga anugrah pora apnikhan poritran paise, aru etu to apuni pora aha nohoi, kintu Isor laga bordan ase,
For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God;
9 nijor laga kaam khan pora nohoi, kelemane kun bhi phutani nahobo nimite.
Not of works, that no man may glory.
10 Kilekoile amikhan tai laga hath pora bona sristikhan ase, aru Khrista Jisu logote bhal kaam kori bole amikhan ke etu jibon dise.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
11 Etu karone monte rakhibi, ekta somoite apnikhan gaw mangso te Porjati thakise, aru apnikhan “sunnot kora khan” pora “sunnot nakora khan” eneka mati thakise - juntu kaam to manu laga hath pora kora kaam ase.
For which cause be mindful that you, being heretofore Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh, made by hands;
12 Kilekoile etu somoite apuni khan Khrista pora alag thakise, aru Israel samaj te luwa nai, aru kotha milai luwa laga kosom para apuni khan najana manu khan ase, aru eku asha aru Isor nathaka duniya thakise.
That you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the conversation of Israel, and strangers to the testament, having no hope of the promise, and without God in this world.
13 Kintu etiya Khrista Jisu te, apuni khan jun poila te tai pora bisi dur thakisele, Khrista laga khun pora usorte ani loise.
But now in Christ Jesus, you, who some time were afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 Kile mane Khrista nijor he amikhan laga shanti ase. Tai laga gaw pora duita thaka to ekta kori dise aru juntu diwar pora amikhan ke alag korise etu ke tai bhangai kene khotom kori dise.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:
15 Tai laga kotha aru Yehudi niyom pora etu sob niyom khan khotom kori dise. Tai laga itcha to duita jat thaka to ekta hoi kene tai logote thaki bole, aru eneka pora he shanti banabo,
Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees; that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace;
16 aru etu nimite Khrista laga Cross pora he taikhan majote dushmani thaka to khotom koribo paribo, aru Isor logot milai loi kene ki dushmani thakise etu khotom kori bole nimite.
And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.
17 Aru Khrista ahi kene jun dur te ase, aru jun usorte ase, duita jat ke shanti laga susamachar janai dise,
And coming, he preached peace to you that were afar off, and peace to them that were nigh.
18 kelemane Tai pora he amikhan duijon ke ekjon Atma bonai kene Baba Isor ke milai dise.
For by him we have access both in one Spirit to the Father.
19 Etu karone apuni khan etiya dusra desh aru nachina manu nohua hoise. Hoile bhi, etiya apnikhan to pobitro manu khan logote Isor laga ghor te thaki thaka manu hoi jaise.
Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,
20 Apuni khan ke apostle aru bhabobadi khan laga mojbut kotha uporte bonaise, aru Jisu Khrista tai nijorke ekta bisi dorkar pathor dise.
Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:
21 Jun he dangor ghor ke eke logote mojbut pora dhuri rakhise, aru Probhu te ekta pobitro mondoli hoi kene uthi thakibi,
In whom all the building, being framed together, groweth up into an holy temple in the Lord.
22 aru Khrista te apnikhan ke milai kene bonai dise, juntu te Isor laga Atma thaki jabo.
In whom you also are built together into an habitation of God in the Spirit.
