< 1 Timothy 6 >

1 Kiman manu sewa laga bhar loi kene nokor ase nijor malik ke sob sonman dibi, tinehoile kun bhi Isor laga naam aru ki hikai se eitu khan bodnam nohobo.
Let as many bondmen as are under yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and the teaching be not blasphemed.
2 Kintu nokorkhan biswasi malik logote thaka karone biya napabo lage, kele koile taikhan bhi bhai kokai ase. Kintu taikhan ke aru bhi bhal pora sewa koribo lage, kele koile jun malik ke sewa kore etu malik bhi biswasi aru Isor laga morom te ase. Etu kotha khan shikabi aru janai dibi.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them] because they are brethren; but let them the rather serve them with subjection, because they are faithful and beloved, who profit by the good and ready service [rendered]. These things teach and exhort.
3 Jodi kunba manu ulta kotha hikai ase, aru amikhan laga Probhu Jisu Khrista laga kotha hikai diya nisena eke nohoi,
If any one teach differently, and do not accede to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the teaching which [is] according to piety,
4 tinehoile tai to phutani aru eku bhi nabuja ase, kintu tai misa-misi kotha loi kene jhagara kori bole bisi mon ase. Eitu khan pora suku jula, jhagara, hinsa kora, biya bhabona khan ulai,
he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but sick about questions and disputes of words, out of which arise envy, strife, injurious words, evil suspicions,
5 aru biya bhabona hoi kene taikhan majote hodai jhagara thake. Taikhan logote hosa nai, aru Isor laga sewa kora pora dhun hobole bisare.
constant quarrellings of men corrupted in mind and destitute of the truth, holding gain to be [the end of] piety.
6 Kintu Isor logote khushi hoi kene thakile etu he labh ase.
But piety with contentment is great gain.
7 Kilekoile amikhan eku bhi ana nai, aru etu prithibi pora eku loijabo na paribo.
For we have brought nothing into the world: [it is] [manifest] that neither can we carry anything out.
8 Kintu kha luwa, aru kapra thakile, etu pora amikhan khushi thakibo.
But having sustenance and covering, we will be content with these.
9 Etiya jun manu dhuni hobole mon jai taikhan porikha te giri jai aru phang te phasi jai, aru sob murkho jokhom laga lalchi pora dhuri loi, juntu pora manu khan ke biya aru khotom kori diye.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many unwise and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into destruction and ruin.
10 Kilekoile poisa laga morom to sob biya laga bijon ase, etu nimite kunba manu khan etu te bisi itcha hoi kene biswas pora dur hoijai aru bisi dukh nijorke jokhom korise.
For the love of money is [the] root of every evil; which some having aspired after, have wandered from the faith, and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
11 Kintu tumi, Isor laga manu, eitu khan pora dur thakibi. Etu pora to, dharmikta, Isor jana, biswas, morom, rukhibole para, aru norom thaka eitu khan he bisari bhi.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness of spirit.
12 Biswas laga bhal lorai ke loribi. Tumike anonto jibon nimite Isor pora matise, etu ke dhori kene thakibi, juntu nimite bisi gawahi khan laga age te tumi bhal shikar korise. (aiōnios g166)
Strive earnestly [in] the good conflict of faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which thou hast been called, and hast confessed the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 Moi tumike, Isor laga naam pora koi ase, jun sobke jibon diye, aru Khrista Jisu laga naam pora, jun Pontius Pilate age te bhal pora shikar dise:
I enjoin thee before God who preserves all things in life, and Christ Jesus who witnessed before Pontius Pilate the good confession,
14 etu hukum khan eku dagi aru bodnam nohoikena mani bhi jitia tak amikhan laga Probhu Jisu Khrista wapas nahe.
that thou keep the commandment spotless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ;
15 Isor he Khrista ke thik homoi te dikhai dibo- Tai asishit thaka Isor ase, Sason-Korta aru Raja laga Raja, aru Probhu khan uporte Probhu ase.
which in its own time the blessed and only Ruler shall shew, the King of those that reign, and Lord of those that exercise lordship;
16 Tai kitia bhi namoribo, aru Tai usorte jabo napara puhor laga ujala te thake. Kun manu bhi Taike dikha nai aru kun bhi Taike sabo na paribo. Tai logote sonman aru anonto hokti thakibi. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
who only has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor is able to see; to whom [be] honour and eternal might. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Etu yug laga dhuni khan ke phutani nakoribole koi dibi aru eku thikana nathaka laga dhun te asha narakhibi kobi. Kintu taikhan ke Isor jun pora amikhan ki lage etu sob diye, etu Isor logot asha rakhibole kobi. (aiōn g165)
Enjoin on those rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to trust on the uncertainty of riches; but in the God who affords us all things richly for [our] enjoyment; (aiōn g165)
18 Bhal kori bole nimite hukum dibi, bhal kaam kori kene dhuni hobole, mon khuli kene dibole aru sob logot te eke bhag kori bole nimite kobi,
to do good, to be rich in good works, to be liberal in distributing, disposed to communicate [of their substance],
19 tinehoile he ahibole din nimite bhal bhetimul karone sompoti joma kori ase, aru asol jibon he ase, etu taikhan pabo.
laying by for themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may lay hold of [what is] really life.
20 Timothy, tumike ki jimedari dise, etu bhal pora bachai kene rakhibi, dusra dhorom pora dur thakibi, misa-misi kotha khan napatibi, aru misa laga gyaan khan pora dur thakibi.
O Timotheus, keep the entrusted deposit, avoiding profane, vain babblings, and oppositions of false-named knowledge,
21 Kunba biswasi khan nijor bisi jane koi, etu nimite taikhan laga biswas to nai. Isor laga anugrah tumi uporte thakibi.
of which some having made profession, have missed the faith. Grace [be] with thee.
