< 1 Peter 4 >
1 Etu nisena, jineka Khrista mangso te dukh paise, etu nisena apuni bhi nijorke eneka bhabona pora taiyar koribi. Kelemane kun manu mangso pora dukh paise tai paap pora bachai loise.
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 Etu nimite, eneka manu jinda thaka homoi te, manu laga itcha pora jinda nathake, kintu Isor laga ki itcha ase, etu te he jinda thake.
That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 Kelemane apuni laga pura homoi to Porjati khan pora ki kori thakise eneka he korise, duniya laga khushi kori kene thakise, nisa hoi kene beraise, nisa pora khushi korise, duniya laga rong tamasha te thakise aru sob biya letera kaam kori kene thakise.
For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revelings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Etu nimite, taikhan bhabise kele apuni taikhan logote biya kaam te mila nai, etu nimite he taikhan apuni laga biya kotha koi thake.
In which they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]:
5 Taikhan ki kotha aru kaam korise etu laga sob hisab dibole lagibo jitia Tai mora aru jinda khan laga bisar kori bole nimite homoi ahibo.
Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 Etu nimite Isor laga susamachar ke mora khan logote bhi prochar kori dise, kelemane, taikhan ke manu laga gaw mangso hisab te bisar korise koile bhi, taikhan atma te jinda thakibo jineka Isor ase.
For, for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7 Kintu etu sob laga ses homoi ahi ase. Etu nimite nijor laga bhabona sapha rakhibi, aru kineka prathana kori ase etu nisena nijor laga sob kaam khan sidha rakhibi.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch to prayer.
8 Aru etu sob kotha te, nijor laga bhai kokai logote morom pora thakibi, kelemane morom pora he sob paap to bondh kori diye.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity will cover a multitude of sins.
9 Aru kunba manu apuni logote modot mangi kene ahile taike eku biya nokoi kene bhal pora sabi.
Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10 Kelemane sob manu bhi asirbad paikene ase, ekjon-ekjon ke modot kori bole nimite etu chola bhi, aru Isor laga morom thaka nisena sob kaam te biswas pora koribi.
As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 Jodi kunba manu kotha kore, tai laga kotha to Isor laga kotha he hobole dibi. Jodi kunba sewa kore, Isor pora diya takot te he kori bole dibi. Eitu khan koribi aru etu sob kaam te Jisu Khrista dwara Isor laga mohima hobo. Jisu Khrista laga naam te mohima aru takot hodai nimite hobole dibi. Amen. (aiōn )
If any man speaketh [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man ministereth [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
12 Morom bhai khan, jui te apuni khan ke porikha kora to kiba ekta alag kaam apuni logote hoi thaka nisena apuni khan etu dikhi kene alag bhabona nokoribi.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you:
13 Kintu, apuni khan kiman Khrista laga dukh te bhag lobo pare, bisi khushi koribi, kelemane eneka korile apuni khan Tai prokahit howa te Tai laga mohima saikene anondo hobo.
But rejoice, seeing ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 Jodi apuni ke Khrista laga naam karone sorom khilai diye, apuni asirbad ase, kelemane mohima laga Atma aru Isor laga Atma apuni uporte thaki ase.
If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, happy [are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you. On their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 Kintu apuni khan kun bhi manu morai diya, chor, paap kaam kori thaka, aru manu laga majote kotha hali diya manu kori kene dukh napabi.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evil-doer, or as a busy-body in other men's matters.
16 Kintu jodi kunba Khristan hoi kene dukh pai, taike sorom pabo nadibi; hoile bhi, Isor laga naam loi kene Taike mohima koribo dibi.
Yet if [any man suffereth] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 Kelemane Isor laga ghor pora he bisar shuru kori bole laga homoi ahise. Jodi etu amikhan logot pora shuru hoi, tinehoile Isor laga susamachar namani kene thaka khan nimite kineka hobo?
For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [beginneth] at us, what will [be] the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 Aru “Jodi dharmik manu khan bachibole tan ase koile, Paapi manu aru Isor ke bhoi nakora manu logote ki hobo?”
And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Etu nimite kun Isor laga itcha te thaki kene dukh pai ase, taikhan nijor laga atma to Sristi-Korta ke he di ase.
Wherefore, let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit the keeping of their souls [to him] in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.
