< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 Etiya, bhai khan moi atma laga bordan laga kotha koi dibo, apnikhan pora etu najane eneka hobo dibo mon nai.
Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Apnikhan jani ase jitia apnikhan biswas nathaka asele, apnikhan nijorke ulta rasta te loi jaise aru jibon nathaka murti khan ke puja kori thakise.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3 Etu karone moi apnikhan ke janai di ase, kun bhi Isor laga Atma pora eneka kobole na paribo, “Jisu ke shrap hobi,” aru kun bhi Pobitro Atma nathaki kene eneka kobole na paribo, “Jisu he Probhu ase.”
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 Etiya, etu te bisi kisim laga bordan khan ase, kintu Isor laga Atma to eke ase.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 Aru etu te alag-alag sewkai khan ase, kintu ekjon he Probhu ase.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 Aru etu te alag-alag kisim laga kaam khan ase, kintu ekjon he Isor ase, jun pora kaam khan sob logote kori ase.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 Etiya ekjon-ekjon logote Atma dikene ase, ekjon-ekjon ke modot koribo paribo nimite.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 Kilekoile Atma pora kunba ke buddhi laga kotha dise, aru etu eke Atma pora kunba ke gyaan laga kotha dise,
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 eke Atma pora kunba ke biswas dise, aru etu eke Atma pora bhal kori diya bordan dise,
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 aru kunba ke bhal kaam kora laga hokti dise, kunba ke bhabobani, kunba ke bhal biya atma bujhi bole para, kunba ke alag kisim laga bhasha, aru kunba ke alag kisim laga bhasha ke bujhai dibo para laga bordan dise.
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 Kintu ekjon aru eke Atma pora etu sob kaam khan kori ase, aru Tai laga itcha hisab te ekjon-ekjon ke bhag kori kene diye.
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 Kilekoile manu laga khali ekta gaw he ase hoilebi alag-alag kaam hisab te bhag ase, kintu jiman bhag hoilebi gaw to ekta he ase; thik etu nisena Khrista bhi ekjon he ase.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.
13 Kilekoile ekjon Atma pora he amikhan sobke baptizma dikene ekta gaw bonai dise, Yehudi hoile bhi Porjati hoile bhi, bandi kene thaka nohoile bhi ajad thakile bhi, amikhan sobke ekjon Atma he khabole dise.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 Kilekoile gaw to khali ekta bhag he nohoi, kintu bisi ase.
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 Jodi theng pora koi, “Ami to hath nohoi, etu nimite ami to gaw laga bhag nohoi,” eneka koile bhi tai etu gaw laga ekta bhag he ase.
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 Aru jodi kaan pora eneka koi, “kelemane moi to suku nohoi, etu nimite moi etu gaw laga bhag nohoi,” eneka koile bhi tai etu gaw laga ekta bhag he ase.
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 Jodi pura gaw to suku ase koi, tinehoile kote pora huni bole paribo? Jodi pura gaw to kaan ase koi, tinehoile kote pora gundha bole paribo?
If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
18 Kintu Isor pora Tai laga itcha hisab te alag-alag bhag ke ekjon-ekjon laga gaw te rakhidise.
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 Kintu jodi taikhan sob eke bhag ase koi, tinehoile etu gaw to kote hobo?
And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?
20 Etu nimite ta te bisi bhag ase, hoile bhi ekta gaw he ase.
But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.
21 Suku pora hath ke eneka kobole na paribo, “Ami apuni ke nalage.” Nohoile bhi aru, matha pora theng ke koi, “Ami apuni ke nalage.”
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Hoile bhi asol kotha to, gaw laga bhag khan jun to bisi komjur dikhe, taikhan he asol kaam laga bhag ase,
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 aru juntu gaw laga bhag ke amikhan kaam nai koi kene bhabe, etu bhag ke amikhan bisi bhal pora sai, aru juntu bhag ke dikha bole napare etu bhag ke amikhan bisi bhal pora sai,
And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
24 Hoile bhi amikhan laga dikha bole sundur bhag ke bisi bhal pora nasai le bhi hobo. Kintu Isor pora sob bhag ke ekta gaw te eke logote milai dise, eneka hoile sob bhag ke eke sonman hobo,
For our comely [parts] have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that [part] which lacked:
25 etu nimite gaw majote kun bhi alag-alag bhag nahobo, kintu utu bhag to ekjon-ekjon ke eke mon pora sabo.
That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
26 Eneka hoile, jitia ekta bhag dukh pabo, sob bhag bhi dukh hoi jabo; aru jitia ekta bhag ke sonman pabo, sob bhag bhi etu logote khushi koribo.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Etiya apnikhan sob Khrista laga gaw ase, aru ekjon-ekjon Tai laga bhag khan ase.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 Aru hosa pora bhi Isor pora kunba ke girja te sabole rakhise, poila jaga to Tai laga basi luwa chela khan hobo, dusra to bhabobadi khan, tisra to hikhok khan, etu pichete asurit kaam kora khan, pichete bhal kori diya laga bordan, modot kora khan, bhal pora cholai kene ja, aru alag kisim laga bhasha kowa khan.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Sob to apostle khan ase naki? Sob to bhabobadi khan ase naki? Sob to hikhok khan ase naki? Sob to asurit kaam kora manu ase naki?
[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?
30 Sob logote changai kori diya bordan ase naki? Sob to alag bhasha kobole pare naki? Sob to alag bhasha khan ke bujhai dibole pare naki?
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 Kintu sob pora dangor bordan ke mon dikene lobole itcha koribi. Aru etiya, ami apnikhan ke sob pora bhal rasta dikhai dibo.
But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
