ဆာလံ 56

1 ၁ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သနားတော်မူပါ။ လူတို့သည် ကိုက်စားအံ့သော ဒေါသနှင့်နေ့တိုင်းတိုက်၍ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို နှိပ်စက်ကြပါ ၏။

To the Overseer. — 'On the Dumb Dove far off.' — A secret treasure of David, in the Philistines' taking hold of him in Gath. Favour me, O God, for man swallowed me up, All the day fighting he oppresseth me,

2 ၂ ရန်သူတို့သည် နေ့တိုင်းကိုက်စားအံ့သော ဒေါသ ရှိ၍ မြင့်သောစိတ်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို တိုက်သောသူ အများရှိကြပါ၏။

Mine enemies have swallowed up all the day, For many [are] fighting against me, O most High,

3 ၃ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့သောအခါ ကိုယ် တော်၌ ခိုလှုံပါမည်။

The day I am afraid I am confident toward Thee.

4 ၄ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်၌ ဝါကြွားပါမည်။ ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို ခိုလှုံသည်ဖြစ်၍ ကြောက်စရာမရှိ။ လူသည် ငါ၌ အဘယ်သို့ပြုနိုင်သနည်း။

In God I praise His word, in God I have trusted, I fear not what flesh doth to me.

5 ၅ သူတို့သည် နေ့တိုင်းငါ့စကားကို အလွဲယူကြ၏။ ငါ၌ မကောင်းသောအကြံကိုသာ ကြံစည်ကြ၏။

All the day they wrest my words, Concerning me all their thoughts [are] for evil,

6 ၆ ငါ့အသက်ကို စောင့်စဉ်အခါစုဝေး၍ ချောင်း မြောင်းလျက်၊ ငါခြေရာတို့ကို ကြည့်မှတ်ကြ၏။

They assemble, they hide, they watch my heels, When they have expected my soul.

7 ၇ သူတို့သည် မတရားသောအမှုအားဖြင့် လွှတ် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရပါမည်လော။ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ထိုလူများ တို့ကို အမျက်တော်ထွက်၍ လှဲတော်မူပါ။

By iniquity they escape, In anger the peoples put down, O God.

8 ၈ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အရပ်ရပ်လည်ရသော အခြင်း အရာတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော်မှတ်၍ အကျွန်ုပ်မျက်ရည်တို့ကို ဘူးတော်ထဲမှာ ထည့်တော်မူပါ။ စာရင်းတော်၌ ရှိပါသည် မဟုတ်လော။

My wandering Thou hast counted, Thou — place Thou my tear in Thy bottle, Are they not in Thy book?

9 ၉ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါ့ဘက်မှာ နေတော်မူသော ကြောင့်၊ ငါအော်ဟစ်သောအခါ ရန်သူတို့သည် လှန်ခြင်း ကို ခံရကြမည်ကို ငါသိ၏။

Then turn back do mine enemies in the day I call. This I have known, that God [is] for me.

10 ၁၀ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်၌ ဝါကြွားမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို အမှီပြု၍ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်၌ ဝါကြွားမည်။

In God I praise the word, In Jehovah I praise the word.

11 ၁၁ ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို ခိုလှုံသည်ဖြစ်၍ ကြောက်စရာမရှိ။ လူသည် ငါ၌အဘယ်သို့ ပြုနိုင် သနည်း။

In God I trusted, I fear not what man doth to me,

12 ၁၂ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ရှေ့တော်၌ သစ္စာပြုပါသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သစ္စာဝတ်ကို ဖြေလျက်ကိုယ်တော် ကို ချီးမွမ်းပါမည်။

On me, O God, [are] Thy vows, I repay thank-offerings to Thee.

13 ၁၃ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို သေခြင်း မှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူပြီ။ အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့၏ အလင်း ထဲမှာဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့တော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကျင့်နေပါမည် အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ခြေကိုလည်း ထိမိ၍လဲခြင်းမှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူမည်မဟုတ်လော။ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ဂါသမြို့မှာ ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့လက်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ စပ်ဆိုသောဆာလံ။

For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, Dost Thou not my feet from falling? To walk habitually before God in the light of the living!
