ဆာလံ 23

1 ၁ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ၏သိုးထိန်းဖြစ်တော် မူ၏။ ငါသည် ဆင်းရဲမခံရ။

“A psalm of David.” The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 ၂ စိမ်းလန်းသော ကျက်စားရာအရပ်၌ ငါ့ကို အိပ်စေတော်မူ၏။ သာယာသောမြစ်နားသို့ လမ်းပြ တော်မူ၏။

In pastures of tender grass he causeth me to lie down: beside still waters he leadeth me.

3 ၃ ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်ကိုအားဖြည့်၍၊ နာမတော်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ တရားလမ်းထဲ၌ သွေးဆောင်တော်မူ၏။

My soul he refresheth: he guideth me in the tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.

4 ၄ အကယ်၍ သေမင်း၏အရိပ်လွှမ်းမိုးသော ချိုင့် ထဲသို့ ရောက်သွားရသော်လည်း ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ကို မကြောက်ပါ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ လှံတံတော်နှင့် တောင်ဝေးတော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ချမ်းသာစေပါ၏။

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff—they indeed comfort me.

5 ၅ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ရန်သူတို့ရှေ့မှာ အကျွန်ုပ်အဘို့ စားပွဲကိုခင်းတော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်ခေါင်းကိုဆီနှင့် လိမ်း တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်ခွက်ဖလားသည် လျှံလျက်ရှိပါ၏။

Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my assailants; thou anointest with oil my head: my cup overfloweth.

6 ၆ အကယ်စင်စစ်အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကျေးဇူးနှင့် ကရုဏာကို တသက်လုံးခံစားရ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်မှာ အစဉ်အမြဲနေရပါလိမ့်မည်။

Surely, only goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord to the utmost length of days.
