ဆာလံ 123

1 ၁ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ကျိန်းဝပ်တော် မူသောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် မျှော်ကြည့်ပါ၏။

Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

2 ၂ ကျွန်တို့သည် သခင်လက်ကို၎င်း၊ ကျွန်မတို့သည် သခင်မလက်ကို၎င်း မျှော်ကြည့်သည်နည်းတူ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သည် ကယ်မသနားတော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို မခံမှီတိုင် အောင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မျှော်ကြည့်လျက်နေကြပါ၏။

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon YHWH our Elohim, until that he have mercy upon us.

3 ၃ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အလွန်အရှက်ကွဲခြင်းကိုခံရပါသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါ။

Have mercy upon us, O YHWH, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 ၄ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူတို့၏ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ မာနကြီးသော သူတို့၏ အရှက်ခွဲခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ၏ ဝိညာဉ်သည် အလွန်ခံရပါ၏။

Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
