ဆာလံ 121

1 ၁ ငါ့ကိုမစခြင်း အကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ သော တောင်ရိုးသို့ ငါမျှော်ကြည့်၏။

A Song of degrees. I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 ၂ ကော်းကင်နှင့်မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား ထံတော်မှ၊ ငါ့ကို မစခြင်းအကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ၏။

My help [cometh] from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

3 ၃ သင်၏ ခြေကို ချော်စေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်ပေးတော် မမူ။ သင့်ကို စောင့်သောသူသည် အိပ်တော်မမူ။

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 ၄ အကယ်စင်စစ် ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို စောင့် သောသူသည် ငိုက်မျဉ်းအိပ်ပျော်ခြင်း ရှိတော်မမူ။

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 ၅ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို စောင့်တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏လက်ျာဘက်၌ရှိသော သင်ခိုလှုံရာ အရိပ်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 ၆ နေ့အချိန်၌ နေအားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ညဉ့်အချိန်၌ လအားဖြင့်၎င်း အထိအခိုက်မရှိရာ။

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မကောင်းသောအမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကွယ်ကာ၍၊ သင်၏အသက်ကို စောင့်တော် မူလိမ့်မည်။

The LORD will preserve thee from all evil: he will preserve thy soul.

8 ၈ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၏ ထွက်ခြင်းနှင့် ဝင်ခြင်းတို့ကို ယခုမှစ၍ အစဉ်အပြတ် စောင့်တော်မူ လိမ့်မည်။

The LORD will preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for ever.
