မဿဲ 14
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus
2 ၂ ဤသူကား ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာယောဟန်ဖြစ်သည်။ သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်လေပြီ။ ထို့ကြောင့် တန်ခိုးများကို ပြ နိုင်သည်ဟု မိမိငယ်သားတို့အားဆို၏။
and said to his servants, “This is John the Baptizer; he has been raised from the dead, and therefore the powers are at work in him.”
3 ၃ အထက်က ဟေရုဒ်သည်မိမိညီဖိလိပ္ပု၏ခင်ပွန်း ဟေရောဒိအကြောင်းကြောင့်၊ ယောဟန်ကိုဘမ်းဆီး ချည်နှောင်၍ ထောင်ထဲမှာလှောင်ထား၏။
For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
For John would say to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.”
5 ၅ ယောဟန်ကိုသတ်ခြင်းငှာ အလိုရှိသော်လည်း၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့၏မျက်နှာကိုထောက်၍ မသတ်ဝံ့ဘဲနေ ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ယောဟန်ကို ပရောဖတ်ကဲ့သို့ထင်မှတ်ကြသတည်း။
And although he wanted to kill him, he feared the crowd, because they counted him as a prophet.
6 ၆ ထိုနောက်မှ ဟေရုဒ်ကိုဘွားသောနေ့ရက်၌ နှစ်စဉ်ပွဲခံစဉ်တွင်၊ ဟေရောဒိ၏သမီးသည် ပွဲသဘင်၌ က သဖြင့် ဟေရုဒ်သည် နူးညွတ်သောစိတ်ရှိလျှင်၊
But while Herod's birthday was being celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and she pleased Herod.
So he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.
8 ၈ ထိုမိန်းမငယ်သည် သူ၏အမိတိုက်တွန်းသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာယောဟန်၏ ဦးခေါင်းကို ဤ လင်ပန်း၌ ပေးတော်မူပါဟု တောင်းလျှောက်၏။
So she, having been prompted by her mother, she says, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptizer!”
9 ၉ မင်းကြီးသည် ဝမ်းနည်းသော်လည်းကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ အပေါင်းအဘော်တို့၏မျက်နှာကို၎င်း ထောက် သောကြောင့် ပေးစေဟုအမိန့်တော်ရှိလျက်၊
And the king was sorry; nevertheless, because of the oaths and those who were reclining at the table with him, he commanded it to be given.
So he sent and had John beheaded in prison.
And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.
12 ၁၂ ယောဟန်၏တပည့်တို့သည်လည်းလာ၍ အလောင်းကိုဆောင်သွားသဖြင့် သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပြီးမှ၊ ယေရှုထံတော် သို့သွား၍ ကြားလျှောက်ကြ၏။
Then his disciples came forward and took the body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus.
13 ၁၃ ယေရှုသည် ကြားတော်မူလျှင်၊ ထိုအရပ်မှထွက်၍လှေကိုစီးလျက် တော၌ဆိတ်ကွယ်ရာအရပ်သို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏။ လူအစုအဝေးတို့သည် ကြားသိရလျှင်၊ မြို့ရွာမှထွက်၍ ကုန်းကြောင်းလိုက်ကြ၏။
Upon hearing it, Jesus departed from there by boat to a deserted place privately. But when the crowds heard it, they followed Him on foot from the towns.
14 ၁၄ ယေရှုသည် ထွက်ကြွ၍ လူများအပေါင်းတို့ကို တွေ့မြင်တော်မူလျှင်၊ သနားခြင်းစိတ်တော်ရှိ၍ လူနာရှိ သမျှတို့ကို ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မူ၏။
So when Jesus disembarked He saw a large crowd, and He had compassion on them and healed their sick.
15 ၁၅ ညဦးယံ၌ တပည့်တော်တို့သည်ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊ ဤအရပ်သည် တောအရပ်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ မိုးလည်းချုပ်ပါပြီ။ လူအစုအဝေးတို့သည် မြို့ရွာသို့သွား၍ စားစရာကိုဝယ်စေခြင်းငှာ အခွင့်ပေးတော်မူပါဟု လျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊
Now with evening coming on His disciples approached Him saying: “The place is uninhabited and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”
But Jesus said to them: “They do not need to go away. You give them to eat.”
17 ၁၇ တပည့်တော်တို့ကလည်း၊ မုန့်ငါးလုံးနှင့် ငါးနှစ်ကောင်မှတပါး အဘယ်စားစရာမျှ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၌မရှိပါ ဟု လျှောက်ပြန်လျှင်၊ ထိုမုန့်နှင့်ငါးကို ယူခဲ့ကြဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
But they say to Him, “We have nothing here except five loaves and two fish.”
So He said, “Bring them here to me.”
19 ၁၉ မုန့်ငါးလုံးနှင့် ငါးနှစ်ကောင်ကိုလည်းယူ၍ ကောင်းကင်သို့ကြည့်မြော်လျက်၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီး မှ မုန့်နှင့်ငါးကိုဖဲ့၍ တပည့်တော်တို့အား ပေးတော်မူ၏။
Then He commanded the crowds to recline on the grass. And taking the five loaves and two fish and looking up to heaven, He blessed; and breaking the loaves He gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowds.
20 ၂၀ တပည့်တော်တို့သည်လည်းလူအပေါင်းတို့အား ပေးကြ၏။ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်စား၍ ဝကြပြီးမှ ကြွင်း ရစ်သောအကျိုးအပဲ့ကို ကောက်သိမ်း၍ တင်းနှစ်တောင်းအပြည့်ရကြ၏။
So they all ate and were filled; and they took up the fragments that remained, twelve baskets full.
Now those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
22 ၂၂ ယေရှုသည် စည်းဝေးသောသူတို့ကိုလွှတ်တော်မူစဉ်တွင်၊ တပည့်တော်တို့ကိုလှေစီးစေ၍ ကမ်းတဘက် သို့ အရင်ကူးစေတော်မူ၏။
Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds.
23 ၂၃ စည်းဝေးသောသူတို့ကိုလွှတ်ပြီးမှ ဆုတောင်းပဌာနပြုအံ့သောငှာ တောင်ပေါ်၌ ဆိတ်ကွယ်ရာအရပ်သို့ တက်ကြွသဖြင့်၊ ညအချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ၊ တယောက်တည်းရှိနေတော်မူ၏။
And having dismissed the crowds He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. So when night came He was alone there.
But the boat was already in the middle of the sea, being harassed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
25 ၂၅ ညသုံးချက်တီးကျော်အချိန်၌ ယေရှုသည် အိုင်ပေါ်မှာ စက်တော်ဖြန့်လျက်တပည့်တော်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏။
So in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
26 ၂၆ ထိုသို့အိုင်ပေါ်မှာစက်တော်ဖြန့်၍ ကြွတော်မူသည်ကို သူတို့သည်မြင်လျှင်ထိတ်လန့်၍၊ ဖုတ်တစ္ဆေဖြစ် သည်ဟု ကြောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် အော်ဟစ်ကြ၏။
And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they became agitated saying, “It's a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.
27 ၂၇ ယေရှုသည် ချက်ခြင်းနှုတ်ဆက်၍ တည်ကြည်သောစိတ်ရှိကြလော့။ ငါပင်ဖြစ်သည်။ မကြောက်လန့် ကြနှင့်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
But immediately Jesus spoke to them saying: “Courage! It is I; don't be afraid!”
28 ၂၈ ပေတရုကလည်း၊ သခင်ကိုယ်တော်မှန်လျှင် အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ ရေပေါ်မှာလာရမည်အ ကြောင်း မိန့်တော်မူပါဟုလျှောက်လျှင်၊
So in answer Peter said, “Lord, since it's you, command me to come to you on the water.”
29 ၂၉ လာခဲ့လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ပေတရုသည်လှေပေါ်ကဆင်း၍ ယေရှုထံသို့ရောက်အံ့သောငှာ ရေ ပေါ်မှာလှမ်းသွား၏။
So He said to him, “Come!” And stepping down from the boat Peter walked on the water to go to Jesus.
But seeing the strong wind he became afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out saying, “Lord, save me!”
31 ၃၁ ယေရှုသည် လက်တော်ကိုချက်ခြင်းဆန့်၍ ပေတရုကိုကိုင်တော်မူလျက်၊ ယုံကြည်အားနည်းသောသူ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ယုံမှားသောစိတ်ဝင်သနည်းဟု မေးတော်မူ၏။
And immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him and says to him: “You little-faith! Why did you doubt?”
And when they got into the boat the wind ceased.
33 ၃၃ လှေသားတို့သည်ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊ စင်စစ်ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်မှန်ပါသည်ဟု ညွတ် ပြပ်၍ လျှောက်ကြ၏။
Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him saying, “Truly you are the Son of God!”
When they had crossed over they came to the land of Genesaret.
35 ၃၅ ထိုအရပ်သားတို့သည် မျက်နှာတော်ကိုမှတ်မိလျှင်၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အရပ်ရှိသမျှသို့ စေလွှတ်သဖြင့် လူနာ ရှိသမျှတို့ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့၍၊
And when the men of that place recognized Him they sent messengers into all that surrounding region and they brought to Him all who were sick.
36 ၃၆ အဝတ်တော်၏ပန်းပွားကိုမျှသာတို့ရပါမည်အကြောင်း အခွင့်တောင်းကြ၏။ တို့သမျှသောသူတို့သည် လည်း ချမ်းသာရကြ၏။
And they would beg Him that if only they might at least touch the hem of His garment; and as many as touched were completely healed.
