ဝတ်ပြုရာ 18
The Lord told Moses,
“Tell the Israelites: I am the Lord your God.
3 ၃ သင်တို့ နေဘူးသော အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၏ အကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါပို့ဆောင်လတံ့သော ခါနာန်ပြည်၏ အကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့သည် မကျင့်၊ သူတို့ တရားလမ်းသို့ မလိုက်ရကြ။
Don't follow the ways of Egypt where you used to live, and don't follow the ways of Canaan where I'm going to take you. Don't adopt their practices.
4 ၄ ငါစီရင်ချက်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ကျင့်၍၊ ငါ့ပညတ်တရားလမ်းသို့ လိုက်ခြင်းငှါ စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
Do what I tell you and keep my rules. I am the Lord your God.
5 ၅ ထိုကြောင့် ငါ့စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ထိုအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်သောသူသည် ထိုအကျင့်အားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
If you keep my rules and do what I tell you, you will live. I am the Lord.
Don't have sex with a close relative.
Don't shame your father by having sex with your mother. She is your mother; don't have sex with her.
Don't have sex with any of your father's wives and shame your father.
Don't have sex with your sister, whether she's your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, or whether she was born in the same house as you or somewhere else.
Don't have sex with your granddaughter, your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter, because that would be shameful thing for you.
Don't have sex with the daughter of any of your father's wives and your father, she is your sister.
Don't have sex with your father's sister. She is a close relative of your father.
Don't have sex with your mother's sister. She is a close relative of your mother.
Don't bring shame on your uncle by having sex with his wife. She is your aunt.
Don't have sex with your daughter-in-law. She is your son's wife. Don't have sex with her.
Don't have sex with your brother's wife and bring shame on your brother.
Don't have sex with both a woman and her daughter. Don't have sex with her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter. They are her close relatives. That is something I loathe.
Don't marry your wife's sister and have sex with her while your wife is still alive. They will be hostile wives to one other.
Don't have sex with a woman during the time she is unclean because of her period.
Don't commit any sex act with any other man's wife. This would pollute you and make you unclean.
21 ၂၁ သင်၏ သားသမီးတို့ကို၊ မောလုတ်ဘုရားအား မီးဖြင့် ပူဇော်ရ။ သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင် နာမတော်ကို မရှုတ်မချရ။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
Don't give any of your children as a human sacrifice to Molech, for you must not disgrace the character of your God. I am the Lord.
Don't have sex with a man as with a woman. That is something disgusting.
23 ၂၃ ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ် ညစ်ညူးစေ၍ တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့်မပေါင်းဘော်ရ။ မိန်းမသည်လည်း မိမိနှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန်၏ ပေါင်းဘော်ခြင်းကို မခံရ။ ရွံရှာဘွယ်သော ရောနှောခြင်းဖြစ်၏။
Don't have sex with any animal. This would pollute you and make you unclean.
24 ၂၄ ထိုသို့သော အမှုအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ် မညစ်ညူးစေရ။ သင်တို့ရှေ့မှာ ငါနှင်ထုတ်သော လူအမျိုး မျိုးတို့သည်၊ ထိုသို့သောအမှုကို ပြု၍ ညစ်ညူးကြ၏။
A woman must not give herself to an animal to have sex with it. That is something disgusting. Don't pollute yourselves and make yourselves unclean by doing anything like this. That's the reason I'm expelling these nations from the land—they polluted themselves because of all these practices.
25 ၂၅ သူတို့ ပြည်သည်လည်း ညစ်ညူး၏။ ညစ်ညူးသော အပြစ်ကြောင့် ငါဆုံးမ၍၊ ထိုပြည်သည် မိမိ သားတို့ကို အော့အန်လိမ့်မည်။
Even the land has become polluted, so I am punishing it for the sins committed by the people who live there, and the land will vomit them out.
26 ၂၆ သင်တို့မူကား၊ ငါ့စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ထိုပြည်သည် သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ရှိသော လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို အော့အန်သကဲ့သို့ တဖန် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းကိုခံ၍၊ သင်တို့ကို မအော့အန်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ကိုယ်အမျိုးသားဖြစ်စေ၊
You, however, must do what I tell you and keep my rules. You must not do any of these disgusting acts, whether an Israelite or a foreigner living among you.
The people who lived in the land before you practiced all these disgusting things, and the land became polluted.
28 ၂၈ သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ရှိသော ပြည်သားတို့သည် ထိုသို့သော ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်အမှုတို့ကို ပြုသော အားဖြင့် သူတို့ပြည်သည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ၏။
If you pollute the land, it will vomit you out just like it did the nations before you.
Consequently anyone who does any of these disgusting things must be expelled from their people.
30 ၃၀ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ ပြူဘူးသော ထိုရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် ထုံးစံဓလေ့သို့ သင်တို့သည် လိုက်၍၊ ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ် မညစ်ညူးစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့ပညတ်တရားကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
You must accept my demand that you don't follow any of these disgusting practices done before you arrived. Don't pollute yourselves and make yourselves unclean. I am the Lord your God.”
