ဝတ်ပြုရာ 12

1 ၁ တဖန်မောရှေအား ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ -

Then the LORD said to Moses,

2 ၂ မိန်းမသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍ သားယောက်ျားကို ဘွားမြင်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ဥတုရောက်၍ ခုနစ်ရက်မစင်ကြယ် သကဲ့သို့ ခုနစ်ရက် မစင်ကြယ်နေရမည်။

“Say to the Israelites, ‘A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be unclean for seven days, as she is during the days of her menstruation.

3 ၃ အဋ္ဌမနေ့၌ သားယောက်ျားအား အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို ပြုရမည်။

And on the eighth day the flesh of the boy’s foreskin is to be circumcised.

4 ၄ ထိုနောက် အမိသည် စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သော အသွေးရှိ၍၊ အရက်သုံးဆယ်သုံးရက်ပတ်လုံး နေရမည်။ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနေ့ရက် မစေ့မှီတိုင်အောင် သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာကို မကိုင်ရ။ သန့်ရှင်း ရာ ဌာနတော်ကို မသွားရ။

The woman shall continue in purification from her bleeding for thirty-three days. She must not touch anything sacred or go into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are complete.

5 ၅ သားမိန်းမကို ဘွားမြင်လျှင်၊ ဥတုရောက်သကဲ့သို့ တဆယ်လေးရက်ပတ်လုံး မစင်ကြယ်နေရမည်။ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သောအသွေးရှိ၍၊ အရက် ခြောက်ဆယ်ခြောက်ရက်ပတ်လုံး နေရမည်။

If, however, she gives birth to a daughter, the woman will be unclean for two weeks as she is during her menstruation. Then she must continue in purification from her bleeding for sixty-six days.

6 ၆ သားယောက်ျားဖြစ်စေ၊ မိန်းမဖြစ်စေ၊ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနေ့ရက် ကာလစေ့သောအခါ၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ် ဘို့ အခါမလည်သော သိုးသငယ်တကောင်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်ဘို့ ချိုးကလေးတကောင်၊ သို့မဟုတ် ခိုတကောင်ကို၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော်တံခါးရှေ့၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ရမည်။

When the days of her purification are complete, whether for a son or for a daughter, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering.

7 ၇ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ပူဇော်၍၊ ထိုမိန်းမအဘို့ အပြစ်ဖြေခြင်းကို ပြုသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် အသွေးသွန်ခြင်းအပြစ်မှ သန့်ရှင်းရလိမ့်မည်။

And the priest will present them before the LORD and make atonement for her; and she shall be ceremonially cleansed from her flow of blood. This is the law for a woman giving birth, whether to a male or to a female.

8 ၈ သိုးသငယ်ကို မတတ်နိုင်လျှင် ခိုနှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ချိုးကလေးနှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ဘို့ တကောင်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်ဘို့တကောင်ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့၍၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် သူ့အဘို့ အပြစ်ဖြေခြင်းကို ပြုသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် သန့်ရှင်းရလိမ့်မည်။ ဤရွေ့ကား၊ သားယောက်ျား၊ သားမိန်းမ ကိုး ဘွားမြင်သော အမိနှင့် ဆိုင်သောတရားဖြစ်သတည်းဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
