ဟောရှေ 8
1 ၁ တံပိုးမှုတ်လော့။ ရန်သူသည် ရွှေလင်းတကဲ့သို့ ထာဝရဘုရား၏အိမ်တော်သို့ လာလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ငါ့ပဋိညာဉ်ကို ဖျက်၍ ငါ့တရားကို လွန်ကျူးကြပြီ။
[SET] the trumpet to thy mouth. As an eagle [he cometh] against the house of the LORD: because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
2 ၂ သို့ရာတွင် သူတို့က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို သိကြပါ၏ဟု ငါ့အား ကြွေးကြော်ကြသည်တကား။
They shall cry unto me, My God, we Israel know thee.
Israel hath cast off that which is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
4 ၄ သူတို့သည် ငါ၏အခွင့်မရှိဘဲ ကိုယ်အလို အလျောက် ရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို ချီးမြှောက်ကြပြီ။ ငါမသိရဘဲ မင်းတို့ကို ခန့်ထားကြပြီ။ ကိုယ်အကျိုးနည်းစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ကိုယ်ရွှေငွေနှင့်ကိုယ်အဘို့ ရုပ်တုများကိုလုပ်ကြပြီ။
They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
5 ၅ အိုရှမာရိ၊ သင်၏ နွားသငယ်ကို စွန့်ပစ်လော့။ ကိုးကွယ်သော သူများကို ငါအမျက်ထွက်၏။ သူတို့သည် အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံး သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းတရားကို မမှီနိုင် ဘဲ နေရကြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
He hath cast off thy calf, O Samaria; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
6 ၆ ထိုနွားသငယ်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုး ကြံစည် ၍ ဖြစ်၏။ ဆရာသမားလုပ်သောကြောင့် ဘုရားမဟုတ်။ အကယ်စင်စစ် ရှမာရိနွားသငယ်သည် အပိုင်းပိုင်း ကျိုးပဲ့ ရလိမ့်မည်။
For from Israel is even this; the workman made it, and it is no God: yea, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
7 ၇ လေမျိုးစေ့ကို ကြဲ၍ လေဘွေစပါးကို ရိတ်ရကြ လိမ့်မည်။ စပါးပင် မရှိရ။ အနှံထဲက မုန့်ညက်မထွက်ရ။ ထွက်သော်လည်း တကျွန်းတနိုင်ငံသားတို့သည် စားကြ လိမ့်မည်။
For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: he hath no standing corn; the blade shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.
8 ၈ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် တိမ်မြုပ်လေပြီ။အဘယ် သူမျှ မနှစ်သက်သော တန်ဆာကဲ့သို့ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့ တွင် ရှိရလိမ့်မည်။
Israel is swallowed up: now are they among the nations as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
9 ၉ အာရှုရိပြည်သို့ အလိုလိုသွားလေပြီတကား။ ဧဖရိမ်သည် ကိုယ်အဘို့တကောင်တည်းနေသော မြည်း ရိုင်းကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ရည်းစားတို့အား ဆုချလေပြီ။
For they are gone up to Assyria, [like] a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
10 ၁၀ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့အား ဆုချသော်လည်း၊ ချက် ခြင်းလူများကို ငါစုဝေးစေမည်။ မကြာမမြင့်မှီ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် မင်းများတင်သော ဝန်ကို ပင်ပန်းစွာ ထမ်းရကြလိမ့် မည်။
Yea, though they hire among the nations, now will I gather them; and they begin to be minished by reason of the burden of the king of princes.
11 ၁၁ ဧဖရိမ်သည် များစွာသော ယဇ်ပလ္လင်တို့ကို အပြစ်အဘို့ လုပ်သောကြောင့်၊ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်တို့ကို သူ၏ အပြစ်ဟူ၍ မှတ်ရလိမ့်မည်။
Because Ephraim hath multiplied altars to sin, altars have been unto him to sin.
12 ၁၂ ငါ့တရား၏ ထူးဆန်းသောအရာတို့ကို သူ့အဘို့ ငါရေးထားပြီ။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ရိုင်းသော အရာဟူ၍ သူသည် မှတ်လေပြီတကား။
Though I write for him my law in ten thousand [precepts], they are counted as a strange thing.
13 ၁၃ ငါနှင့်ဆိုင်သော ပူဇော်သက္ကာတို့ကို ယဇ်ပူဇော် သော သူတို့သည် ပူဇော်၍ ကိုယ်တိုင်စားကြ၏။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် သူတို့ကို လက်ခံတော်မမူ။ သူတို့အပြစ်များ ကို ချက်ခြင်းအောက်မေ့၍ စစ်ကြောတော်မူသော အားဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သို့ ပြန်သွားရကြလိမ့် မည်။
As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt.
14 ၁၄ ဣသရေလသည် သူ့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော သခင်ကိုမေ့လျော့၍ ဘုံဗိမာန်များကို တည်ဆောက်တတ် ၏။ ယုဒသည်လည်း ခိုင်ခံ့သော မြို့တို့ကို များပြားစေ တတ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင်၊ ငါသည် ထိုမြို့များတို့ကို မီးရှို့၍ ဘုံဗိမာန်များတို့ကို မီးလောင်ရလိမ့်မည်။
For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.
