တမန်တော်ဝတ္ထု 26
1 ၁ ထိုအခါအဂြိပ္ပမင်းက၊ သင်သည်ကိုယ်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ ပြောရသော အခွင့်ရှိသည်ဟု ပေါလုအားဆိုလျှင်၊ ပေါလုသည် လက်ကိုဆန့်၍ အပြစ်ဖြေရာစကားကို ဤသို့ပြော၏။
Then Agrippa said to Paul, "You are permitted to speak for yourself." So Paul stretched forth his hand and began to make his defense.
"I think myself happy, King Agrippa, that I am to make my defense before you this day, in regard to all the accusations brought against me by the Jews;
3 ၃ ယုဒလူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုအမှုလုပ်သမျှသောအရာမှာ၊ ရှေ့တော်၌အပြစ်ဖြေစရာစကားကို ယနေ့ ပြောရမည် အကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ ထိုမျှမက ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယုဒထုံးတမ်း၊ ပုစ္ဆာအမေးများကိုလေ့ကျက်တော်မူ ကြောင်းကို၎င်း အကျွန်ုပ်ထောက်၍ ကိုယ်၌မင်္ဂလာရှိ သည်ဟု ကိုယ်ကိုထင်မှတ်ပါ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်သည်းခံသော စိတ်တော်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်စကားကို နားထောင်တော်မူမည် အကြောင်း အသနားတော်ခံပါ၏။
"especially since you are an export in all Jewish customs and questions. I pray you, expert in all Jewish customs and questions. I pray you, hear me with patience.
4 ၄ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင် ကိုယ်အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့၏ အထဲ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်နေသဖြင့်၊ ငယ်သောအသက်အရွယ်မှ စ၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏အနေ အတိုင်းအပြုအမူများကို ယုဒလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည်သိကြပါ၏။
"The kind of life I have lived from my youth upward among my own nation and at Jerusalem, all that early life of mine, is well known to all the Jews.
5 ၅ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ယုဒဘာသာ၌ အလွန်ကျပ်တည်းစွာသော နည်းဥပဒေသကိုခံ၍၊ ဖာရိရှဲဖြစ်သည်ကို ထိုသူတို့သည် သက်သေခံခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိလျှင် ရှေးဦးစွာကပင် သိကြပါ၏။
"They know me of old, if they are willing to testify, how that according to the strict sect of our religion, I lived a Pharisee.
6 ၆ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဘိုးဘေးများတို့အား ပေးတော်မူသော ဂတိတော်ကိုထောက်၍ မြော်လင့်ခြင်း တရားအကြောင်းကြောင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ယခုတွင် စစ်ကြောစီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရပါ၏။
"Today I am standing trial because of the hope of the promise made by God to our ancestors,
7 ၇ ယုဒလူတဆယ်နှစ်မျိုးတို့သည် နေ့ညဉ့်မပြတ် ကြိုးစား၍ ဘုရားဝတ်ပြုသဖြင့်၊ ထိုဂတိတော်အတိုင်းခံရ မည်ဟု မြော်လင့်ခြင်းရှိကြ၏။ အိုအဂြိပ္ပမင်းကြီး၊ ထိုမြော်လင့်ခြင်းတရားကို အကြောင်းပြု၍ ယုဒလူတို့ သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အမှုလုပ်ကြပါ၏။
"a promise which our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. It is concerning this hope, King Agrippa, that I am accused by the Jews.
8 ၈ သေလွန်သောသူတို့ကို ဘုရားသခင် ထမြောက် စေတော်မူမည်ဟူသော အယူကိုမယူအပ်ဟု သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ထင်ကြပါသနည်း။
"Why is it deemed incredible by you all, if God raises the dead?
9 ၉ နာဇရက်မြို့သား ယေရှု၏ နာမတော်နှင့် ဆန့်ကျင်သော အမှုများကို ပြုကောင်း၏ဟု အကျွန်ုပ်သည် စိတ်ထင်လျက်၊
"I indeed once thought with myself that I ought to do many things against the name of Jesus, the Nazarene.
10 ၁၀ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ထိုအမှုကို ပြုမိပါ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီးတို့ထံ၌ အခွင့်ရပြီးလျှင်၊ သန့်ရှင်းသူ အများတို့ကို ထောင်ထဲမှာ လှောင်ထားပါ၏။ သူတို့သည် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရသောအခါ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဝန်ခံပါ၏။
"And this also I did in Jerusalem. Armed with authority from the chief priests, I shut up many of the saints in prison, and when they were condemned to death I gave my vote against them.
11 ၁၁ ထိုသူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို နှုတ်ဖြင့် ပြစ်မှားစေခြင်းငှါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အနိုင်အထက်ပြု၍၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောတရားစရပ်တို့၌ ကြိမ်ဖန်များစွာ ဒဏ်ပေးပါ၏။ ပြင်းစွာသော အမျက်ဒေါသနှင့် ယစ်မူးသဖြင့်၊ တကျွန်းတနိုင်ငံတိုင်အောင်သူတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲနိုပ်စက်ပါ၏။
"In all the synagogues also I punished them oftentimes, and tried to make them blaspheme; and in my mad fury I was pursuing them even to foreign cities.
12 ၁၂ ထိုသို့ပြု၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီးတို့ပေးသော အခွင့်အရာနှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဒမာသက်မြို့သို့ သွားစဉ် တွင်၊
"On this errand I was traveling to Damascus one day, armed with authority and commission of the chief priests,
13 ၁၃ နေ၏အရောင်ထက်မကသော အလင်းသည် အကျွန်ုပ်မှစ၍ အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်အတူ သွားသောသူများ ပတ်လည်၌ ကောင်းကင်ထဲက ထွန်းတောက်သည်ကို၊ မွန်းတည့်ချိန်တွင် လမ်းထဲမှာ အကျွန်ုပ်မြင်ရပါသည်။ အရှင်မင်းကြီး။
"when at noon, as I journeyed, O King, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and around those who journeyed with me.

"We all fell to the ground; and I heard a voice saying to me in Hebrew. "‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goad.’
15 ၁၅ သခင်ကိုယ်တော်သည် အဘယ်သူနည်းဟု အကျွန်ုပ် မေးလျှောက်သော်၊ ငါကား၊ သင်ညှဉ်းဆဲသော နာဇရက်မြို့သား ယေရှုဖြစ်သတည်း။
"‘Who are you, Lord?’ I said. "And the Lord said. ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
"‘But rise and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you in order to appoint you my minister and my witness both of what you have already seen and of those things in which I will appear to you.
"‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, and from the Gentiles to whom I am sending you to open their eyes
18 ၁၈ သင်သည် ယခုမြင်ရသောအကြောင်းအရာတို့နှင့်၊ နောက်မှ ငါသည်သင့်အား ထင်ရှားလတံ့သော အကြောင်းအရာတို့မှာ၊ အမှုဆောင်ရွက်သောသူ၊ သက်သေခံသောသူအရာ၌ သင့်ကိုခန့်ထားစေခြင်းငှါ ငါသည်သင့်အား ထင်ရှား၏။ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် မှောင်မိုက်မှ အလင်းသို့ ကူးမြောက်၍၊ စာတန်၏အာဏာထဲမှ ဘုရားသခင့် အထံတော်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲသောအားဖြင့် အပြစ်လွှတ်ခြင်း ကျေးဇူးကို ခံရမည်အကြောင်းနှင့်၊ ငါ့ကို ယုံကြည်သော အားဖြင့် သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သောသူတို့နှင့် ဆက်ဆံ ၍ အမွေခံရမည်အကြောင်း၊ သူတို့၏မျက်စိကိုဖွင့်စေ ခြင်းငှါသူတို့ဆီသို့ သင့်ကို ငါစေလွှတ်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော် မူ၏။
"‘so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, in order to receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
"So then, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision;
20 ၂၀ လူတို့သည် နောင်တရရမည်။ နောင်တရခြင်း နှင့်ထိုက်တန်သော အကျင့်ကို ကျင့်ရမည်။ ဘုရားသခင် အထံတော်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲရမည်ဟူ၍ ဒမာသက်မြို့၌ ရှေ့ဦးစွာ ဟောပြောပြီးလျှင်၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှစ၍ ယုဒပြည်အရပ်ရပ်၌နေသောသူတို့အား၎င်း၊ တပါးအမျိုးသား၊ တို့အား၎င်း၊ ဟောပြောပါ၏။
"but I proceeded to preach, first to those in Damascus, and then in Jerusalem and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they must repent and turn to God and do deeds worthy of repentance.
21 ၂၁ ထိုအကြောင်းများကြောင့်၊ ယုဒလူတို့သည် ဗိမာန်တော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုဘမ်းဆီး၍ ကွပ်မျက်ခြင်းငှါ အားထုတ်ကြပါ၏။
"For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple, and tried to kill me.
"But having obtained the help that comes from God, I stand even to this day witnessing both to small and great, saying nothing except what the prophets and Moses said should come;
23 ၂၃ ယခုတိုင်အောင်ရှိနေရပါ၏။ ခရစ်တော်သည် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကိုခံရမည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ သေခြင်းမှ အဦးဆုံး ထမြောက်၍ ယုဒအမျိုးသား၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့အား အလင်းကိုပေးမည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ မောရှေမှစသော ပရောဖက်များတို့ ဟောပြောသောစကားထက် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မလွန်ဘဲ၊ လူအကြီးအငယ်တို့အား သက်သေခံ၍ နေပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
"how that the Christ must suffer, and how he should be the first to rise from the dead, and should bring a message of light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles."
24 ၂၄ ထိုသို့ပေါလုသည် အပြစ်ဖြေရာစကားကို လျှောက်သောအခါ၊ ဖေတ္တုမင်းက၊ ပေါလု၊ သင်သည် သူရူးဖြစ်၏။ သိပ္ပံအတတ်များကိုသင်၍ သူရူးအဖြစ်သို့ ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီဟုကြီးသော အသံနှင့်ဆို၏။
As Paul thus made his defense, Festus exclaimed in a loud voice. "Paul, you are raving mad; your great learning is driving you mad."
25 ၂၅ ပေါလုကလည်း၊ မြတ်တော်မူသောဖေတ္တမင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သူရူးမဟုတ်ပါ။ သမ္မာတရားနှင့်၎င်း၊ ကောင်းသောစိတ်နှင့်၎င်း၊ ယှဉ်သော စကားကို ပြောပါ၏။
"I am not mad, most noble Festus," said Paul,
26 ၂၆ ဤအရာများကိုအဂြိပ္ပမင်းကြီး သိတော်မူ၏။ ထိုမင်းရှေ့တော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်အတည့်အလင်း လျှောက်ဝံ့ ပါ၏။ ဤအမူအရာ တစုံတခုကိုမျှ မင်းကြီးမသိဘဲ နေတော်မမူဟုအကျွန်ုပ်ထင်ပါ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဤအမှုသည် ဆိတ်ကွယ်ရာအရပ်၌ ပြုသောအမှု မဟုတ်ပါ။
"I am speaking words of sober truth. For the King, to whom I am speaking freely, knows of these matters. I am persuaded that not one of these things has escaped his notice; for these things were not done in a corner.
27 ၂၇ အိုအဂြိပ္ပမင်းကြီး၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အနာဂတ္တိကျမ်းစာကို ယုံတော်မူသလော။ ယုံတော်မူသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်သိပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်၏။
"King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe."
28 ၂၈ အဂြိပ္ပမင်းကလည်း၊ သင်သည်ဖြားယောင်း သွေးဆောင်သောအားဖြင့်၊ ငါသည်ခရစ်ယာန်ဖြစ်လှပြီဟု ပေါလုအား ပြောဆိုလျှင်၊
Agrippa answered, "In short, you are doing your best to persuade me to become a Christian."
29 ၂၉ ပေါလုက၊ ကိုယ်တော်မှစ၍ ယနေ့တွင် အကျွန်ုပ်၏စကားကို ကြားသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ ဤသံကြိုးကိုထား၍ အကျွန်ုပ်ကဲ့သို့သောသူဖြစ်လုသည် သာမက လုံးလုံးဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် ဆုတောင်းပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
"Long or short," answered Paul, "my prayer to God is that not only you but all who are my hearers this day might become such as I am, save for these chains."
Then the king rose, and Bernice, and those who were sitting with him.
31 ၃၁ အခြားသို့သွားပြီလျှင်၊ ဤသူသည် အသေသတ်ခြင်း၊ အကျဉ်းထားခြင်းခံထိုက်သောအမှုကို မပြုဟု အချင်းချင်းပြောဆိုကြ၏။
When they had withdrawn they continued talking to one another. "This man is doing nothing," they said, "for which he deserves death or imprisonment."
32 ၃၂ အဂြိပ္ပ မင်းကလည်း၊ ဤသူသည်ကဲသော ဘုရင် ၏ အယူတော်ကို ခံပါမည်ဟု မဆိုမိလျှင် လွှတ်သင့်သည်ဟု ဖေတ္တုမင်းအားဆို၏။
And Agrippa said to Festus, "If he had not appealed to Caesar, he might have been set free."
