ဆာလံ 73
“BOOK III. A psalm of Asaph.” Truly God is good to Israel, —To those who are pure in heart.
Yet my feet almost gave way; My steps had well nigh slipped:
3 ၃ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ မတရား သောသူတို့၏ စည်းစိမ် ကို မြင် သောအခါ၊ မိုက် သောသူတို့ကို ပင် ငါငြူစူ မိပြီ။
For I was envious of the proud, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
For they have no pains even to their death; Their bodies are in full health.
They have not the woes of other men, Neither are they smitten like other men.
Therefore pride encircleth their neck as a collar; Violence covereth them as a garment.
From their bosom issueth their iniquity; The designs of their hearts burst forth.
They mock, and speak of malicious oppression; Their words are haughty;
They stretch forth their mouth to the heavens, And their tongue goeth through the earth;
Therefore his people walk in their ways, And there drink from full fountains.
11 ၁၁ ဘုရား သခင်သည် အဘယ်သို့ သိ တော်မူမည်နည်း။ အမြင့်ဆုံး သော ဘုရား၌ ဉာဏ် ရှိ ပါလိမ့်မည်လော ဟု ဆို တတ်ကြ၏။
And they say, “How doth God know? How can there be knowledge with the Most High?”
Behold these are the ungodly! Yet they are ever prosperous; they heap up riches.
13 ၁၃ အကယ် စင်စစ်ငါ့ နှလုံး ကို ငါသန့်ရှင်း စေသော်လည်း အကျိုး မရှိ။ အပြစ် ကင်းခြင်းနှင့် ငါ့ လက် ကို ဆေးကြော သော်လည်း အကျိုးမရှိ။
Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain; In vain have I washed my hands in innocence.
For every day have I been smitten; Every morn have I been chastened.
15 ၁၅ ထိုသို့ သဘောကျမည်ဟု အကျွန်ုပ်ဆို လျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ အမျိုးသား တို့ကို ပြစ်မှား ရာသို့ ရောက်ပါ လိမ့်မည်။
If I should resolve to speak like them, Surely I should be treacherous to the family of thy children.
So, when I studied to know this, It was painful to my eyes;
Until I went into the sanctuaries of God, And considered what was their end.
18 ၁၈ အကယ် စင်စစ်ကိုယ်တော်သည် သူ တို့ကို ချော သောအရပ်၌ ထား တော်မူပြီ။ ဖျက်ဆီး ရာအရပ်သို့ ချ တော်မူ၏။
Behold! thou hast set them on slippery places; Thou castest them down into unseen pits.
19 ၁၉ တခဏ ခြင်းတွင် အကျိုး နည်းကြပါပြီတကား။ ဘေး ဥပဒ်များအားဖြင့် ရှင်းရှင်း ပယ် ပျောက်လျက် ရှိကြပါ ပြီတကား။
How are they brought to desolation in a moment, And utterly consumed with sudden destruction!
20 ၂၀ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ လူသည် နိုး သောအခါ အိပ်မက် ကိုမှတ်သကဲ့သို့ သူတို့ကို နှိုး တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ သူ တို့ အကြံ အစည်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတော်မူမည်။
As a dream when one awaketh, Thou, O Lord! when thou awakest, wilt make their vain show a derision.
When my heart was vexed And I was pierced in my reins,
Then was I stupid and without understanding; I was like one of the brutes before thee.
23 ၂၃ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကိုယ်တော် ထံမှာ အစဉ် ရှိ၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏လက်ျာ လက် ကို ဆွဲကိုင် တော်မူ၏။
Yet am I ever under thy care; By my right hand thou dost hold me up.
Thou wilt guide me with thy counsel, And at last receive me in glory.
25 ၂၅ ကိုယ်တော်မှတပါး၊ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံမှာ အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ အဘယ် သူရှိပါသနည်း။ ကိုယ်တော် ကိုအလိုရှိသည်နှင့်အမျှ မြေကြီး ပေါ်မှာ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်အလိုရှိ ပါသနည်း။
Whom have I in heaven but thee, And whom on earth do I love in comparison with thee?
26 ၂၆ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏အသား နှင့် နှလုံး သည် ပျက် ကြပါ ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ဘုရား သခင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် နှလုံး ၏ အစွမ်း သတ္တိ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အစဉ် အမြဲခံစားရာအဘို့ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
Though my flesh and my heart fail, God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 ၂၇ အကယ် စင်စစ်ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် ဝေးဝေး နေသောသူတို့ သည် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် ကွာ၍မှားယွင်း သော သူအပေါင်း တို့ကို ပယ်ရှင်း တော်မူ ၏။
For, lo! they who are far from thee perish; Thou destroyest all who estrange themselves from thee.
28 ၂၈ အကျွန်ုပ် မူကား ၊ ဘုရား သခင့်ထံ တော်သို့ ချဉ်းကပ် ၍ အကျိုး ရှိပါ၏။ အမှုတော် ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို ကြား ပြောခြင်းအလိုငှါ ၊ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၌ ခိုလှုံ လျက်နေပါ၏။
But it is good for me to draw near to God; I put my trust in the Lord Jehovah, That I may declare all thy works.
