ဆာလံ 49

1 ၁ လူ များအပေါင်း တို့၊ ကြား ကြလော့။ ခပ်သိမ်း သောလောက သား၊

Hear this, all you people; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world:

2 ၂ အယုတ်အမြတ်၊ ကြွယ်ဝ သောသူ၊ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူတို့၊ တညီ တညွတ်တည်းနားထောင် ကြလော့။

Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

3 ၃ ငါ့ နှုတ် သည်ပညာ ကိုမြွတ် ဆိုမည်။ ငါ့ နှလုံး သည် ဉာဏ် နှင့်ဆိုင်သောအရာကို ဆင်ခြင် မည်။

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

4 ၄ ပုံ စကားသို့ ကိုယ် နား ကိုလှည့် လျက် နက်နဲ သော အရာကို စောင်း တီး၍ ဖွင့် ပြပေအံ့။

I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

5 ၅ ခဲယဉ်း ဆိုးယုတ်သောကာလ ၌ ငါ ၏အရာကို လုယူချင်သောသူတို့၏ ဒုစရိုက်အမှုသည် ငါ့ ကို ဝိုင်း သော်လည်း၊ ငါသည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ကြောက် ရမည်နည်း။

Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?

6 ၆ ထိုသူ တို့သည် ကိုယ်ဥစ္စာ ကို ကိုးစား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ် စည်းစိမ် များ သောကြောင့်ဝါကြွား သော်လည်း၊

They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

7 ၇ မိမိညီအစ်ကိုကို အဘယ် သူမျှအလျှင်းမ ရွေး နိုင်။ ရွေးရန်အဘိုး ကိုဘုရား သခင်၌ မ ပေး နိုင်။

None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

8 ၈ သူ တို့အသက် ဝိညာဉ်၏ ရွေး ရန် အဘိုး ကြီးလှပေ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အစဉ် ရှုံး လျက် နေရမည်။

(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases for ever: )

9 ၉ ရွေးလျှင် အစဉ် အမြဲအသက် ရှင်ရာ၏။ ပုပ်စပ် ခြင်းသို့ မ ရောက်ရာ။

That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

10 ၁၀ ထင်ရှား သောအရာဟူမူကား ၊ ပညာရှိ သောသူတို့ သည် သေ တတ်ကြ၏။ ထို အတူမိုက် သောသူနှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန် သဘောရှိသောသူတို့ သည် ပျက်စီး ခြင်း သို့ရောက်၍ ၊ မိမိ တို့ဥစ္စာ ကို သူတပါး တို့၌ ချန် ထားကြ၏။

For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

11 ၁၁ မိမိ တို့အိမ် သည် ထာဝရ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ မိမိ တို့ နေရာ လည်း လူမျိုး အစဉ်အဆက်တည်လိမ့်မည်။ မိမိ တို့ နာမ သည် မြေ ပေါ် မှာ ကျော်စော လိမ့်မည်ဟု သူ တို့ စိတ် ထင်ရှိကြ၏။

Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

12 ၁၂ သို့ရာတွင် လူ သည်ဂုဏ် အသရေ၌ မ တည် မနေ တတ်။ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် နှင့် တူ ၏။

Nevertheless man being in honour abides not: he is like the beasts that perish.

13 ၁၃ ထိုသို့ ပြုမူ ခြင်းအရာသည် သူ တို့၏ကိုးစား ရာ ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သူ တို့သားမြေးတို့သည် သူ တို့စကား ကို နှစ်သက် တတ်ကြ၏။

This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. (Selah)

14 ၁၄ ထိုသူ တို့ကို သိုး များကဲ့သို့ မရဏာ နိုင်ငံ၌ ချ ထား ၍ သေမင်း စား လိမ့်မည်။ ကာလ မကြာမမြင့်မှီ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့သည် အုပ်စိုး ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူ တို့၏ ကိုယ် ခန္ဓါသည် ဖောက်ပြန် ဘို့ ရာဖြစ်၏။ မရဏာ နိုင်ငံသည် သူ တို့၏ နေရာ ဖြစ်၏။ (Sheol h7585)

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. (Sheol h7585)

15 ၁၅ ငါ့ ကိုမူကား ၊ ဘုရား သခင်သိမ်းယူ တော်မူသောကြောင့် ၊ ငါ ၏ဝိညာဉ် ကို မရဏာ နိုင်ငံ၏ တန်ခိုး မှ ရွေး တော်မူမည်။ (Sheol h7585)

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)

16 ၁၆ သူတပါး သည် ဥစ္စာ ကြွယ်ဝ၍ ၊ အိမ် ၏ဂုဏ် အသရေတိုးပွါး သောအခါ သင်သည် မ စိုးရိမ် နှင့်။

Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

17 ၁၇ ထိုသူ သည်သေ သောအခါ ၊ အဘယ် ဥစ္စာမျှ မ ပါ ရ။ သူ ၏ဂုဏ် အသရေသည် သူ့ နောက် သို့ မ ဆင်းသက် ရ။

For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

18 ၁၈ ထိုသူ သည် အသက် ရှင်စဉ် အခါ၊ မိမိ ဝိညာဉ် ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေး တတ်၏။ မိမိ အကျိုး ကို ပြုစုသောအခါ သူတပါးတို့သည်ချီးမွမ်း တတ်ကြ၏။

Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.

19 ၁၉ သို့သော်လည်း၊ သူသည် သူ ၏ဘိုးဘေး အမျိုး ရှိရာသို့ သွား ရလိမ့်မည်။ ကာလ အစဉ်အဆက် သူတို့သည်အလင်း ကို မ မြင် ရကြ။

He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

20 ၂၀ ဂုဏ် အသရေနှင့် ပြည့်စုံလျက် ပညာ သတိမ ရှိ သောသူသည်ကား ၊ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန် နှင့် တူ ၏။

Man that is in honour, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.
