ဆာလံ 39
1 ၁ ငါ သည်စကား ဖြင့် မျှ မပြစ်မှား မည်အကြောင်း၊ ကိုယ် ကျင့် ကို သတိ ပြုမည်။ မတရား သောသူသည် ငါ့ ရှေ့ မှာ ရှိ စဉ်၊ ငါ သည်ကိုယ်နှုတ် ကို ချည်နှောင် မည်ဟု ငါပြော ထား၏။
I said, “I will watch my ways, so that I don’t sin ·err (the standard goal)· with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me.”
2 ၂ စကား မပြောဘဲအ လျက်နေ၏။ ကောင်း သော အရာကို ပင် မ ပြော။ ထို သို့နေစဉ်၊ ငါ သည် စိတ် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ ၏။
I was mute with silence. I held my peace, even from good. My sorrow was stirred.
3 ၃ ကိုယ် အထဲ မှာ နှလုံး ပူဆွေး ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငါ ညည်းတွား စဉ် ၊ မီး လောင် လေ၏။ ထိုအခါငါ သည် နှုတ် မြွက် ၏။
My heart was hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned: I spoke with my tongue:
4 ၄ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကိုယ်ပျက် တတ်သော သဘောကိုသိ ရပါမည်အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏လမ်း ဆုံးကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ အသက် အပိုင်း အခြားကို၎င်း သိ စေတော်မူပါ။
“Adonai, show me my end, what is the measure of my days. Let me know how frail I am.
5 ၅ အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် တာကို တမိုက် မျှသာ ခန့်ထား တော်မူပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ် အရွယ် သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဘာမျှ မဟုတ် သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူမည်သည် ကား၊ လူ ၏အထွဋ် သို့ ရောက် သော်လည်း၊ အနတ္တ သက် သက်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။
Behold, you have made my days hand widths. My lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely every man stands as a breath.” (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
6 ၆ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူ သည် အရိပ် ၌ သာ ကျင်လည် ပါ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူတို့သည် အကျိုး မဲ့ပင်ပန်း ကြပါ ၏။ ဥစ္စာ ကိုဆည်းဖူးသော်လည်း အဘယ် သူရ အံ့သည် ကို မ သိ ရပါ။
“Surely every man walks like a shadow. Surely they busy themselves in vain. He heaps up, and does not know who shall gather.
7 ၇ ယခု မူကား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်သို့ မြော်လင့် ရပါမည်နည်း။ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၌ သာ မြော်လင့် စရာအကြောင်းရှိပါ၏။
Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
8 ၈ ပြစ်မှားမိသမျှ သောအပြစ် တို့မှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို လွှတ် တော်မူပါ။ မိုက် သောသူတို့ ၏ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကို ခံ စေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။
Deliver me from all my rebellious breaches of relationships. Don’t make me the reproach of the foolish.
I was mute. I didn’t open my mouth, because you did it.
Remove your scourge away from me. I am overcome by the blow of your hand.
11 ၁၁ ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူ တို့အပြစ် ကြောင့် ဆုံးမ ၍ ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ပိုးရွ ဖျက်တတ်သကဲ့သို့ ၊ လူ တို့၏ တင့်တယ် ခြင်းအသရေကို ပြယ် ပျောက်စေတော်မူ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူ ခပ်သိမ်း တို့သည် အနတ္တ သက်သက်ဖြစ်ကြပါ၏။
When you rebuke and correct man for depravity (moral evil), You consume his wealth like a moth. Surely every man is but a breath.” (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
12 ၁၂ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ဆုတောင်းခြင်း ပဌနာ ကို ကြား တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် အော်ဟစ် သော အသံကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် မျက်ရည် ကို ကြည့် ၍ နေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။ ဘိုးဘေး အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဖြစ်ဘူးသကဲ့သို့ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ရှေ့တော်၌ ဧည့်သည် အာဂန္တုဖြစ်၏။
“Sh'ma ·Hear obey· my prayer, Adonai, and give ear to my cry. Don’t be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were.
Oh spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go away, and exist no more.”
