ဆာလံ 23

1 ၁ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ ၏ သိုးထိန်းဖြစ်တော်မူ ၏။ ငါသည် ဆင်းရဲ မ ခံရ။

“A psalm of David.” The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 ၂ စိမ်းလန်း သော ကျက်စား ရာအရပ်၌ ငါ့ ကို အိပ် စေတော်မူ၏။ သာယာ သောမြစ် နား သို့ လမ်းပြ တော်မူ၏။

In pastures of tender grass he causeth me to lie down: beside still waters he leadeth me.

3 ၃ ငါ့ ဝိညာဉ် ကိုအားဖြည့် ၍၊ နာမတော် အဘို့ အလိုငှါ တရား လမ်း ထဲ ၌သွေးဆောင် တော်မူ၏။

My soul he refresheth: he guideth me in the tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.

4 ၄ အကယ်၍ သေမင်း ၏အရိပ်လွှမ်းမိုးသော ချိုင့် ထဲသို့ ရှောက်သွား ရသော်လည်း ဘေး အန္တရာယ်ကို မ ကြောက် ပါ။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ လှံတံ တော်နှင့် တောင်ဝေး တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ချမ်းသာ စေပါ၏။

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff—they indeed comfort me.

5 ၅ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ရန်သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ အကျွန်ုပ် အဘို့ စားပွဲ ကိုခင်း တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ခေါင်း ကိုဆီ နှင့် လိမ်း တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ခွက် ဖလားသည် လျှံ လျက်ရှိပါ၏။

Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my assailants; thou anointest with oil my head: my cup overfloweth.

6 ၆ အကယ် စင်စစ် အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကျေးဇူး နှင့် ကရုဏာ ကို တသက်လုံး ခံစား ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်မှာ အစဉ် အမြဲနေ ရပါလိမ့်မည်။

Surely, only goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord to the utmost length of days.
