ဆာလံ 142

1 ၁ ငါ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ထံသို့ အသံ ကိုလွှင့်၍ အော်ဟစ် ၏။ ငါ့ အသံ ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ထံသို့ လွှင့်၍ ဆုတောင်း ပဋ္ဌနာပြု၏။

“A Maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A prayer.” With my voice I cry unto the Lord: with my voice I make supplication unto the Lord.

2 ၂ ရှေ့ တော်၌ မြည်တမ်း သော စကားကို မြွက် ၍၊ ခံရသောဆင်းရဲ ဒုက္ခကို ကြား လျှောက်ရ၏။

I pour out before him my grief: my distress I recite before him.

3 ၃ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် စိတ်ပျက် လျက် ရှိသောအခါ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သွားသောလမ်း ကို ကိုယ်တော် သိ တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် သွား သောလမ်း ၌ ကျော့ကွင်း ကို ဝှက်ထား ကြ ပါပြီ။

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me—and thou knowest well my path—on the way whereon I desired to walk they had secretly laid a snare for me.

4 ၄ လက်ျာ ဘက်သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်ကြည့်ရှု သောအခါ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သိကျွမ်း သောသူမ ရှိပါ။ ပြေး လွတ်ရာလမ်းလည်း ပိတ် ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် ကို နှမြော သောသူမ ရှိပါ။

Look to the right, and behold, yea, there is no man that recognizeth me: [every] refuge is lost to me; there is no one that careth for my soul.

5 ၅ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အော်ဟစ် ပါ၏။ အသက်ရှင် သောသူတို့၏ နေရာ ၌ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ခိုလှုံရာ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ခံစားရာအဘို့ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of life.

6 ၆ အလွန် နှိမ့်ချ လျက်နေသောအကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ကြွေးကြော် သံကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူတို့လက်မှ ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူပါ။ သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ထက် သာ၍ခွန်အား ကြီးကြပါ၏။

Listen unto my entreaty; for I am very miserable: deliver me from my pursuers; for they are too mighty for me.

7 ၇ နာမတော် ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ချီးမွမ်း ရမည်အကြောင်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ထောင် ထဲက နှုတ်ဆောင် တော်မူပါ။ ထိုသို့ ကျေးဇူး ပြုတော်မူသောအခါ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ဝန်းရံ လျက်နေရကြပါလိမ့်မည်။

Bring forth out of prison my soul, that I may thank thy name: with me shall the righteous crown themselves, when thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
