ဆာလံ 140
1 ၁ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ဆိုး သောသူ ၏လက်မှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူပါ။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သောသူ ၏လက်မှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကွယ်ကာ စောင့်မတော်မူပါ။
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
Who imagine mischiefs in [their] heart; continually are they assembled [for] war.
3 ၃ သူတို့သည်မြွေ ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ တို့လျှာ ကို သွေး တတ် ကြပါ၏။ သူ တို့နှုတ်ခမ်း အထဲ မှာ မြွေဆိုး အဆိပ် အတောက်ရှိပါ၏။
They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adder's poison [is] under their lips. (Selah)
4 ၄ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ မ တရားသောသူ၏ လက် မှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုကွယ်ကာ စောင့်မတော်မူပါ။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သောသူ ၏လက်မှ ကွယ်ကာ စောင့်မတော်မူပါ။ သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုလှဲ ခြင်းငှါ ကြံစည် ကြပါ၏။
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
5 ၅ မာနကြီး သောသူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ဘို့ ကျော့ကွင်း နှင့် ကြိုး သေးများကို ဝှက်ထား ကြပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် သွားရာလမ်း ၌ ကွန် ရွက်ကိုဖြန့် ၍ ညွှတ် များကို ထား ကြပါ ၏။
The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the way side: they have set gins for me. (Selah)
6 ၆ ကိုယ်တော် သည်အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ဘုရား သခင်ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား အား လျှောက် ထားပါ၏။ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ဆုတောင်း သောစကား ကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။
I said to the LORD, Thou [art] my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
7 ၇ အိုဘုရား ရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ကယ်တင် ခြင်းအစွမ်း သတ္တိဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ စစ်တိုက် ရသောနေ့ ၌ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ဦးခေါင်း ကို ဖုံးအုပ် တော်မူ၏။
O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
8 ၈ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ မ တရားသောသူ၏ အလို ပြည့်စုံရသောအခွင့်၊ သူ ၏အကြံ ထမြောက် ရသောအခွင့် ရှိစေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။
Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; [lest] they exalt themselves. (Selah)
9 ၉ ထိုသို့သောသူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ပတ်လည် ၌၊ မိမိတို့ဦးခေါင်း ကို မချီးမြှောက်ရဘဲ၊ မိမိ တို့မြွက်ဆို သော မ ကောင်းကျိုးသည် မိမိ တို့ကို လွှမ်းမိုး ပါစေသော။
[As for] the head of those that encompass me, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10 ၁၀ မီးခဲ တို့သည် ထိုသူ တို့အပေါ် သို့ ကျ ရောက်ကြ ပါစေသော။ မီး ထဲသို့ ၎င်း၊ နက် သောတွင်းထဲသို့ ၎င်း ကျ ကြ ပါစေသော။ တဖန်မ ထ ကြပါစေနှင့်။
Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not again.
11 ၁၁ ကဲ့ရဲ့ တတ်သောသူ သည် မြေ ပေါ် မှာ နေရာ မ မြဲ ပါစေနှင့်။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သောသူ ကိုလည်း ဖျက်ဆီး သည် တိုင်အောင် ဘေးဥပဒ် သည် လိုက် ပါစေသော။
Let not an evil speaker be established on the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow [him].
12 ၁၂ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ ၏အမှု ကို စောင့် ၍၊ ငတ်မွတ် သောသူဘက်၌ တရား စီရင်တော်မူမည် ဟု ငါသိ ၏။
I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, [and] the right of the poor.
13 ၁၃ အကယ် စင်စစ်တရား သောသူတို့သည် နာမတော် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ သဘော ဖြောင့်သောသူတို့ သည် အထံ တော်၌ နေ ရကြပါလိမ့်မည်။
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
