ဆာလံ 123

1 ၁ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံ၌ ကျိန်းဝပ် တော်မူ သောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အကျွန်ုပ် မျှော် ကြည့် ပါ၏။

A Song of degrees. To thee I lift up my eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

2 ၂ ကျွန် တို့သည် သခင် လက် ကို ၎င်း၊ ကျွန် မတို့သည် သခင်မ လက် ကို ၎င်းမျှော် ကြည့်သည်နည်းတူ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ သည် ကယ်မ သနားတော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို မ ခံမှီတိုင်အောင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မျှော် ကြည့်လျက်နေကြပါ၏။

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until he shall have mercy upon us.

3 ၃ အို ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကယ် မသနားတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အလွန် အရှက် ကွဲခြင်းကိုခံရ ပါသည် ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ကယ် မသနားတော်မူပါ။

Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 ၄ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူတို့ ၏ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ မာနကြီး သောသူတို့ ၏ အရှက်ခွဲ ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ ၏ ဝိညာဉ် သည် အလွန် ခံရ ပါ၏။

Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
