ဆာလံ 121

1 ၁ ငါ့ ကိုမစ ခြင်း အကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက် ရသော တောင် ရိုးသို့ ငါ မျှော် ကြည့်၏။

I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.

2 ၂ ကောင်းကင် နှင့် မြေကြီး ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်မှ၊ ငါ့ ကို မစ ခြင်းအကြောင်းသည် ပေါ်ထွက်ရ၏။

My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

3 ၃ သင် ၏ ခြေ ကို ချော် စေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်ပေး တော် မ မူ။ သင့် ကို စောင့် သောသူသည် အိပ် တော်မ မူ။

May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee.

4 ၄ အကယ် စင်စစ်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို စောင့် သောသူသည် ငိုက်မျဉ်း အိပ်ပျော် ခြင်း ရှိတော်မ မူ။

Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel.

5 ၅ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင့် ကို စောင့် တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် ၏လက်ျာ ဘက်၌ ရှိသောသင် ခိုလှုံရာ အရိပ် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand.

6 ၆ နေ့ အချိန်၌ နေ အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ညဉ့် အချိန်၌ လ အားဖြင့် ၎င်း အထိ အခိုက်မ ရှိရာ။

The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night.

7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မ ကောင်းသောအမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို ကွယ်ကာ ၍၊ သင် ၏အသက် ကို စောင့် တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul.

8 ၈ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် ၏ ထွက် ခြင်းနှင့် ဝင် ခြင်းတို့ကို ယခု မှစ၍ အစဉ် အပြတ် စောင့် တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

May the Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from henceforth now and for ever.
