ဆာလံ 120

1 ၁ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ဆင်းရဲ ခံရသောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အော်ဟစ် ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နားထောင် တော်မူ၏။

A Song of Ascents. In my distress, I cried to the LORD. He answered me.

2 ၂ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် ကို သစ္စာ မရှိသော နှုတ် မှ ၎င်း၊ လှည့်စား တတ်သော လျှာ မှ ၎င်း ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူပါ။

Deliver my soul, LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

3 ၃ အိုလှည့်စား တတ်သောလျှာ ၊ သင် သည်အဘယ် ကျေးဇူး ရှိ သနည်း။ အဘယ် အကျိုး ကိုခံရသနည်း။

What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?

4 ၄ အားကြီး သောသူ ၏ ထက် သောမြှား ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ ရသမ် သစ်သားမီးခဲ ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်၏။

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

5 ၅ ငါသည် မေရှက် ပြည်၌ တည်းခို ၍ ၊ ကေဒါ တဲ ၌ နေရ သည် အရာမှာ အ မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။

Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell amongst the tents of Kedar!

6 ၆ ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းကို မုန်း သောသူတို့ နှင့်အတူ ၊ ငါ့ ဝိညာဉ် သည် ကြာမြင့် စွာနေ ရပါသည်တကား။

My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.

7 ၇ ငါ သည် ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းဘက်မှာနေ၏။ ငါပြော လျှင် မူကား ၊ သူ တို့သည် စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိကြ၏။

I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.
