ဆာလံ 118
1 ၁ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကောင်းမြတ် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ကရုဏာ တော် အစဉ် အမြဲတည် သောကြောင့် ၊ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြလော့။
Tell Yahweh that you thank him very much for the good [things that he has done for you] He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever.
You Israeli [people] should [repeatedly] shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
You [priests] who are descendants of Aaron should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves us, his people, forever!”
All you who revere him should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
5 ၅ ငါသည် ကျဉ်းမြောင်း ရာထဲက ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ခေါ် ၍၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ကျယ်ဝန်း သော အရပ်ထဲသို့ သွင်း တော်မူ၏။
When I was distressed, I called out to Yahweh, and he answered me and set me free [from my worries/troubles].
6 ၆ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ ဘက် မှာ ရှိတော်မူသည် ဖြစ်၍ကြောက် စရာမ ရှိ။ လူ သည် ငါ ၌ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု နိုင်သနည်း။
Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), so I will not be afraid [of anything]. No one [RHQ] can do anything that will [prevent God from blessing] me forever.
7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ ဘက် ၌ မစ တော်မူသည် ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ငါ့ ကို မုန်း သောသူတို့၌ ငါ့ အလို ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။
[Yes], Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), [so] I will look triumphantly at my enemies [while he defeats them].
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to (depend on/trust in) people.
It is better to trust Yahweh to protect [us] than to trust [that influential/important] people [will protect us].
10 ၁၀ လူမျိုး အပေါင်း တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုဝိုင်း ကြသော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နာမတော် အားဖြင့် သူ တို့ကို ပယ် ဖြတ် ရ၏။
Armies of [MTY] many nations surrounded me, [but] Yahweh enabled me to defeat them by his power [MTY].
They completely surrounded me, [but] I defeated them all by the power of Yahweh.
12 ၁၂ ပျား များကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ ကိုဝိုင်း ၍ အုံကြသော်လည်း၊ ဆူး ပင်ကို လောင်သော မီး ကဲ့သို့ ငြိမ်း ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နာမတော် အားဖြင့် သူ တို့ကို ပယ် ဖြတ်ရ၏။
They swarmed around me like [angry] bees; they were like a fire that blazes strongly, but only briefly, in a thornbush, [but] I defeated them by the power [MTY] that Yahweh gave me.
[My enemies] attacked me fiercely and almost defeated me, but Yahweh helped me.
14 ၁၄ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ငါ ၏အစွမ်း သတ္တိ၊ ငါသီချင်း ဆိုရာအကြောင်း ၊ ငါ့ ကို ကယ်တင် ခြင်းအကြောင်း ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။
Yahweh is the one who makes me strong, and he is the one about whom I [always] sing; he has saved me [from my enemies].
15 ၁၅ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့ ၏ နေရာ ၌ ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းအသံနှင့် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းအသံ ရှိ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လက်ျာ လက်တော်သည် ကြီး သောအမှုကိုပြု ၏။
Listen to the joyful songs of victory being sung in the tents of godly/righteous people! They sing, “Yahweh has defeated our enemies by his mighty power [MTY];
16 ၁၆ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လက်ျာ လက်တော်သည် ချီးမြှင့် လျက်ရှိ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လက်ျာ လက်တော် သည် ကြီး သောအမှုကိုပြု ၏။
he has raised his strong right arm [to show he has defeated his enemies]. Yahweh has completely defeated them!”
I will not be killed [in battle]; I will live to proclaim the great things that Yahweh has done.
Yahweh has punished me severely, but he has not allowed (me to die/[my enemies] to kill me).
19 ၁၉ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတံခါး တို့ကို ငါ့ အား ဖွင့် ကြ။ ငါဝင် ၍ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ရမည်။
[You gatekeepers], open for me the gates of the temple in order that I may enter and thank Yahweh.
Those are the gates [through which we enter the temple to worship] Yahweh; godly/righteous people enter those gates.
21 ၂၁ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အကျွန်ုပ် ချီးမွမ်း ပါမည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ စကား ကို နားထောင် ၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကယ်တင် တော်မူ၏။
[Yahweh], I thank you that you answered my prayer, and you saved me [from my enemies].
22 ၂၂ တိုက်ကို တည်လုပ် သော သူများပယ် ထားသော ကျောက် သည် နောက်တဖန် တိုက်ထောင့် အထွဋ် ဖျားသို့ ရောက် ပြန်၏။
[Yahweh’s promised/chosen king is like] [MET] the stone which the builders rejected [when they were building a house], [but that stone] became the (cornerstone/most important stone in the building).
(This was done by Yahweh/Yahweh has done this), and it is a wonderful thing for us to see.
This is the day in which [we remember that] Yahweh acted [powerfully to defeat our enemies]; we will rejoice and be glad/happy today.
25 ၂၅ အို ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကယ်တင် တော်မူပါဟု တောင်းပန်ပါ၏။ အို ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကောင်းကြီး မင်္ဂလာကို ပေးတော်မူပါဟု တောင်းပန်ပါ၏။
Yahweh, we plead with you to [keep] rescuing us [from our enemies]. Yahweh, please help us (accomplish/do well) [what we want to do].
26 ၂၆ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏အခွင့် နှင့် ကြွလာ သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိစေသတည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော် ထဲက အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးကြပါ၏။
Yahweh, bless the one who will come with your authority [MTY]. And from the temple we (bless/[ask Yahweh to] bless) all of you.
27 ၂၇ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဘုရား သခင်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ငါ တို့၌ ရောင်ခြည် တော်ကို လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ ယဇ် တင်ရန် အကောင်ကို ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ဦးချို ၌ ကြိုး နှင့် ချည် ကြလော့။
Yahweh is God, and he has caused his light to shine on us. Come, carrying [palm] branches, and join the people [who are starting] the festival as they go to the altar.
28 ၂၈ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ဘုရား ဖြစ်တော်မူ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ပါမည်။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ဘုရား ဖြစ်တော်မူ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို ချီးမြှောက် ပါမည်။
[Yahweh], you are the God whom I [worship], and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will tell [everyone] that you are great!
29 ၂၉ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကောင်းမြတ် တော်မူ၍ ၊ ကရုဏာ တော် အစဉ် အမြဲတည်သောကြောင့် ၊ ဂုဏ် ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြလော့။
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us] He will faithfully love [us] forever.
