ဆာလံ 1

1 ၁ မတရား သောသူတို့၏ တိုက်တွန်း ခြင်းသို့ မ လိုက်၊

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 ၂ လူ ဆိုးတို့၏ လမ်း တွင် မ ရပ် မနေ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူတို့ ၏ အစည်း အဝေး၌ မ ထိုင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ တရား တော်၌ မွေ့လျော် ၍ ၊ တရား တော်ကို နေ့ ညဉ့် မပြတ် ဆင်ခြင် အောက်မေ့သောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏။

But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.

3 ၃ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ထို သူသည် မြစ် နား မှာ စိုက် လျက် မိမိ အချိန် တန်မှ အသီး ကိုသီး၍ ၊ အရွက် မ ညှိုးနွမ်း တတ်သော အပင် နှင့် တူ၏။ ပြု လေသမျှ တို့၌ အောင် လိမ့်သတည်း။

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.

4 ၄ မတရား သောသူတို့ မူကား ထို ကဲ့သို့မ ဟုတ်။ လေ တိုက်၍ လွင့် သောဖွဲ နှင့်တူ ကြ၏။

Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.

5 ၅ ထိုကြောင့် တရား ဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူရာကာလ၌ ၊ မတရား သောသူတို့သည် မ တည် မနေရကြ။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့ ၏အပေါင်း အသင်းထဲသို့ လူဆိုး တို့သည် မဝင်ရကြ။

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 ၆ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့၏ လမ်း ကို ထာဝရဘုရား သိကျွမ်း တော်မူ၏။ မတရား သောသူတို့ ၏ လမ်း သည်ဆုံးရှုံး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်သတည်း။

For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
