သုတ္တံကျမ်း 31
The words of king Lemuel, the oracle which his mother taught him.
2 ၂ ငါ့ သား အဘယ် သို့နည်း။ ငါ ဘွား သောသား ၊ အဘယ် သို့နည်း။ ငါ့ ၏သစ္စာ ဂတိနှင့်ဆိုင်သောသား အဘယ် သို့နည်းဟု မေးမြန်းသော်၊
What, my son? And what, O son of my womb? And what, O son of my vows?
3 ၃ သင် ၏အစွမ်း သတ္တိကို မိန်းမ တို့အား မ ပေး နှင့်။ ရှင်ဘုရင် တို့ကိုဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောအရာ၌ သင့် ၏အကျင့် အကြံ အပြုအမူတို့ကို မအပ်နှင့်။
Give not thy strength to women, nor thy ways to that which destroys kings.
4 ၄ အိုလေမွေလ ၊ စပျစ်ရည် သောက် သောအမှုနှင့် သေရည် သောက်သောအမှုသည် ရှင်ဘုရင် ၊ မင်းသား တို့နှင့် မ တော်မသင့်။
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, nor for rulers to say, Where is strong drink?
5 ၅ သူတို့သည်သောက် လျက် တရား တော်ကို မေ့လျော့ ၍ ၊ ဆင်းရဲသား အမှုကို မတရားသဖြင့် စီရင် ဆုံးဖြတ်မည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာရှိ၏။
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the justice due to any who is afflicted.
Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish, and wine to the bitter in soul.
Let him drink, and forget his need, and remember his misery no more.
8 ၈ ကိုးကွယ် ရာမရှိသော သူ အပေါင်း တို့၏အမှု ကို စောင့်ခြင်းငှါ ၊ စကားအ သောသူတို့ဘက် မှာ နေ၍ပြော လော့။
Open thy mouth for the mute, in the cause of all such as are left desolate.
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and minister justice to the poor and needy.
10 ၁၀ သီလ နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော မိန်းမ ကိုအဘယ်သူ တွေ့ ရ သနည်း။ ထိုသို့သောမိန်းမ သည် ပတ္တမြား ထက် အဘိုး သာ၍ထိုက်ပေ၏။
A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he shall have no lack of gain.
She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeks wool and flax, and works willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchant ships: she brings her bread from afar.
15 ၁၅ မိုဃ်း မလင်းမှီထ လျက် ၊ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့အား စားစရာ ကို၎င်း ၊ ကျွန်မ တို့အား အငန်း အတာကို၎င်း ပေး ဝေတတ်၏။
She also rises while it is yet night, and gives food to her household, and their task to her maidens.
16 ၁၆ ကောင်းမွန်စွာ ဆင်ခြင် ၍၊ လယ်ကွက် ကိုဝယ် ယူ တတ်၏။ ကိုယ်တိုင် လုပ်၍ရသောငွေနှင့် စပျစ် ဥယျာဉ်ကို ပြုစု တတ်၏။
She considers a field, and buys it. With the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
She girds her loins with strength, and makes strong her arms.
She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out by night.
She lays her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
She stretches out her hand to the poor, yea, she reaches forth her hands to the needy.
21 ၂၁ မိုဃ်းပွင့် ကျသော်လည်း ၊ မိမိ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့ အတွက် မ စိုးရိမ်။ အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကတ္တီပါနီ ကို ဝတ် ကြ၏။
She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She makes for herself carpets of tapestry. Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 ၂၃ သူ ၏ခင်ပွန်း သည်လည်း မြို့တံခါး တို့၌ ပြည် သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့နှင့် ထိုင် ၍ ၊ ထင်ရှား သောသူဖြစ် ရ၏။
Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them, and delivers girdles to the merchant.
25 ၂၅ သူ လုပ်သောအထည် အလိပ်သည် ခိုင်ခံ့ ၍ ၊ လှ သောအဆင်းနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသဖြင့် ၊ သူသည်နောင် ကာလ ၌ ဝမ်းမြောက် လိမ့်မည်။
Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her sons rise up, and call her blessed. Her husband also, and he praises her.
29 ၂၉ လူမျိုးသမီး အများ တို့သည် ကောင်းမွန် စွာ ပြု ကြ ပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ၊ သင် သည် ထိုသူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို လွန်ကဲ ပြီ ဟု သူ့ကို ချီးမွမ်း တတ်၏။
Many daughters have done worthily, but thou excel them all.
30 ၃၀ ယဉ်ကျေး သောအရာသည် လှည့်စား ခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်တတ်၏။ လှ သောအဆင်းသည်လည်း အချည်းနှီး ဖြစ် ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သော မိန်းမ မူကား၊ ချီးမွမ်း ခြင်းကိုခံရလိမ့်မည်။
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Jehovah, she shall be praised.
31 ၃၁ ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမ ကျင့် ရာ အကျိုး ကို ပေး လော့။ သူ ပြု သောအမှုသည် မြို့တံခါး တို့၌ သူ ၏အသရေ ကို ထင်ရှားစေသတည်း။
Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
