တောလည်ရာ 11
1 ၁ တဖန် လူ များတို့သည် အလို တော်မရှိသော မြည်တမ်း ခြင်းကို ပြုကြသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူတို့ စကားကိုကြား ၍ အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူ၏။ ရှို့တော်မူသောမီး သည် သူ တို့တွင် လောင် ၍ တပ် အစွန် အနား၌ ရှိသောသူအချို့တို့ကို သေ စေလေ၏။
The people were complaining in the ears of Adonai. When Adonai sh'ma ·heard obeyed· it, his anger burned; and Adonai’s fire burned among them, and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
The people cried to Moses [Drawn out]; and Moses [Drawn out] prayed to Adonai, and the fire abated.
The name of that place was called Taberah, because Adonai’s fire burned among them.
4 ၄ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် ရောနှော လျက် ပါသောတပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် တောင့်တ သောစိတ် စွဲလမ်း ကြ၏။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည်လည်း တဖန် ငိုကြွေး လျက် ငါ တို့စား စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကို အဘယ်သူ ပေးလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly: and the children of Israel [God prevails] also wept again, and said, “Who will give us meat to eat?
5 ၅ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ အလိုအလျောက် စား ရသော ငါး သား၊ သခွါးသီး ၊ ဖရဲသီး ၊ ကြက်သွန် အနီ၊ အဖြူ ၊ အရိုင်းအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို အောက်မေ့ ၏။
We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt [Abode of slavery] for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna ·what is it· to look at.”
The manna ·what is it· was like coriander seed, and its appearance like the appearance of bdellium.
8 ၈ လူ များတို့သည်လှည့်လည် လျက် မန္နကိုစုသိမ်း ၍ ဆုံ ၌ ကြိတ် ခြင်း၊ ထောင်း ခြင်းကိုပြုပြီးမှ အိုး နှင့် ပြုတ် ကြ၏။ မုန့်ပြား ကိုလည်း လုပ် ကြ၏။ အရသာ သည် မုန့်ဆီကြော် အရသာ နှင့် တူ၏။
The people went around, gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in mortars, and boiled it in pots, and made cakes of it. Its taste was like the taste of fresh oil.
When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna ·what is it· fell on it.
10 ၁၀ ထိုအခါ လူ များအသီးအသီးတို့သည် မိမိ တဲ တံခါးဝ ၌ မိမိ အိမ်ထောင် နှင့်တကွငိုကြွေး ကြသည်ကို မောရှေ ကြား ရ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပြင်းစွာ အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူ၏။ အပြစ် ရှိသည်ကို မောရှေ သိမြင် လျှင် ၊
Moses [Drawn out] sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and Adonai’s anger burned greatly; and Moses [Drawn out] was displeased.
11 ၁၁ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ထမ်းစေဟု သူတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အပေါ် မှာ တင် ၍ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ တော်မူပါသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ရှေ့ တော်၌ မျက်နှာ မ ရဘဲ နေရပါသနည်း။
Moses [Drawn out] said to Adonai, “Why have you treated with your servant so badly? Why haven’t I found chen ·grace· in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?
12 ၁၂ သူ တို့ဘိုးဘေး များ၌ ကျိန်ဆို တော်မူသော ပြည် သို့ သွား၍၊ အထိန်း သည် နို့စို့ သူငယ်ကိုဆောင် သကဲ့သို့ ၊ ဤလူတို့ကို ပိုက်ချီ လျက်ဆောင်လော့ဟု အကျွန်ုပ် အား မိန့် တော်မူမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင် ပါသလော။ ဘွားမြင် ပါသလော။
Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them out, that you should tell me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers?’
13 ၁၃ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့အား ကျွေး စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကို အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရနိုင်ပါအံ့နည်း။ သူတို့က အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ စား စရာဘို့ အမဲသား ကိုပေး ပါဟု ငိုကြွေး လျက် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို တောင်း ကြပါ၏။
Where could I get meat to give to all this people? For they weep to me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’
14 ၁၄ ဤ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တယောက်တည်း သာ မ ဆောင်ရွက် နိုင် ပါ။ ဆောင်ရွက်ရသောဝန်လည်း လေး လွန်းပါ၏။
I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
15 ၁၅ ထိုသို့ အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ ပြု တော်မူလျှင် ၎င်း၊ စိတ် တွေ့တော်မူလျှင် ၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအလျင်အမြန်သေ စေတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ် ဆင်းရဲ ကို ကိုယ်မ သိ မမြင်ပါစေနှင့်ဟု ဘုရား အား လျှောက်ဆို ၏။
If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found chen ·grace· in your sight; and don’t let me see my wretchedness.”
16 ၁၆ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း ၊ သင်ကျွမ်းကျင် သော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အသက်ကြီး ခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့ကို ငါ့ ရှေ့မှာ စုဝေး စေပြီးလျှင်၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေး ရာ တဲ တော် သို့ ခေါ် ခဲ့၍ သင် နှင့်အတူ ရပ် နေကြစေလော့။
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel [God prevails], whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.
17 ၁၇ ငါသည်လည်း ထို အရပ်သို့ ဆင်းသက် ၍ သင် နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် မည်။ သင့် အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ်သော ဝိညာဉ် အချို့ကို ငါယူ ၍ သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် မည်။ ဤလူတို့ ကို သင် တယောက်တည်း သာ ဆောင်ရွက် ရမည် မ ဟုတ်၊ ထိုအသက်ကြီးသူတို့သည် ဝိုင်းညီ၍ ဆောင်ရွက် ရကြမည်။
I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the breath mind Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you not bear it yourself alone.
18 ၁၈ သင်သည်လည်း လူ များတို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊ နက်ဖြန် နေ့အဘို့ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်သန့်ရှင်း စင်ကြယ်လော့။ အမဲသား ကိုစား ရကြမည်။ သင်တို့က အဘယ်သူသည် ငါ တို့ အား အမဲသား ကိုပေး လိမ့်မည်နည်း။ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ နေစဉ်၊ ငါ တို့သည် ချမ်းသာ စွာနေကြ၏ဟု ငိုကြွေး လျက် ပြောဆို သံကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကြား သောကြောင့်၊ အမဲသား ကိုပေး တော်မူသဖြင့် သင်တို့သည် စား ရကြမည်။
“Say to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Adonai, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt [Abode of slavery].” Therefore Adonai will give you meat, and you will eat.
You will not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days,
20 ၂၀ သင် တို့နှာခေါင်း ထဲက အမဲသားထွက် ၍ ရွံ စရာ ဖြစ် သည်တိုင်အောင် တလ ပတ်လုံးစားရကြမည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင် တို့တွင် ရှိတော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ကို၊ သင်တို့သည် မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြု လျက်၊ ငါတို့သည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ထွက်လာ ရကြသနည်းဟု ရှေ့ တော်၌ ငိုကြွေး လျက် ပြောဆို ကြပြီ တကားဟု မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected Adonai who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we come out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]?”’”
21 ၂၁ မောရှေ ကလည်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့် ဆိုင်သော လူ ယောက်ျားအပေါင်းခြောက် သိန်းရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍ကိုယ်တော်က တ လစား စရာဘို့ သူ တို့အား အမဲသား ကို ငါပေး မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပါသည်တကား၊
Moses [Drawn out] said, “The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month.’
22 ၂၂ သူ တို့ကို ဝ စွာကျွေးခြင်းငှါ၊ သိုး ဆိတ်နွား စုတို့ကိုသတ် ရပါမည်လော။ သို့မဟုတ်ဝ စွာကျွေးခြင်းငှါ၊ ပင်လယ် ငါး ရှိသမျှ တို့ ကိုစုဝေး ရပါမည်လောဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?”
23 ၂၃ ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား လက် တို သလော။ ငါ့ စကား တည် မည် မ တည်မည်ကို သင်သိ လိမ့်မည်ဟု မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Has Adonai’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”
24 ၂၄ မောရှေ သည် ထွက် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကား တော်ကို လူ များတို့အား ဆင့်ဆို ပြီးလျှင် ၊ အမျိုးသား အသက်ကြီး သူခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့ကို စုဝေး စေ၍ ၊ ပရိသတ် စည်းဝေးရာ တဲ တော်ပတ်လည် ၌ ထား လေ၏။
Moses [Drawn out] went out, and told the people Adonai’s words; and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them around the Tent.
25 ၂၅ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိုဃ်းတိမ် ဖြင့် ဆင်းသက် ၍ မောရှေ နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် တော်မူ၏။ မောရှေ အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ်သော ဝိညာဉ် အချို့ ကို ယူ ၍ အသက်ကြီး သူ ခုနစ်ကျိပ် တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ထိုဝိညာဉ် သည် သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ် သောအခါ ၊ သူတို့သည် ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ မပြတ်မစဲ ဟောကြ၏။
Adonai came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
26 ၂၆ ထိုလူ စု၌ ပါသောသူ ဧလဒဒ် နှင့် မေဒဒ် တို့သည် စာရင်း ဝင်သော်လည်း ၊ တဲ တော်သို့ မ သွား ဘဲ တပ် ထဲမှာ နေရစ် စဉ်တွင်သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ ထိုဝိညာဉ် ကျိန်းဝပ် သဖြင့် သူတို့သည်လည်း ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ တပ် ထဲမှာ ဟောကြ၏။
But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the breath mind Spirit rested on them; and they were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.
27 ၂၇ လုလင် တယောက်သည်လည်း မောရှေ ထံသို့ ပြေး ၍ ၊ ဧလဒဒ် နှင့် မေဒဒ် တို့သည် တပ် ထဲမှာ ပရောဖက်ပြု ၍ဟောပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လျှင် ၊
A young man ran, and told Moses [Drawn out], and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!”
28 ၂၈ မောရှေ ၏ လက်ထောက် ဖြစ်သော လုလင်နုန် သား ယောရှု က၊ သခင် မောရှေ ၊ သူ တို့ကို ဆီးတား တော်မူပါဟုဆို သော်၊
Joshua [Yah Salvation] the son of Nun, the servant of Moses [Drawn out], one of his chosen men, answered, “My lord Moses [Drawn out], forbid them!”
29 ၂၉ မောရှေ က၊ သင် သည် ငါ့ အတွက် ငြူစူ သောစိတ် ရှိသလော။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ပရောဖက် ဖြစ် ကြပါစေသော။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို သူ တို့အပေါ် မှာ တင် တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ဆို ပြီးမှ ၊
Moses [Drawn out] said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all Adonai’s people were prophets, that Adonai would put his breath mind Spirit on them!”
Moses [Drawn out] went into the camp, he and the elders of Israel [God prevails].
31 ၃၁ ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် လေ ကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ ငုံး များကို ပင်လယ် မှ ဆောင် ခဲ့သဖြင့် ၊ တပ် ပတ်လည်တရက် ခရီး စီတိုင်တိုင်ကွာသော အရပ်တို့၌၊ မြေ ပေါ်မှာ ဒုနှစ်တောင် ခန့် မျှ ဆင်း စေတော်မူ၏။
A wind from Adonai went out and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, about a day’s journey [approximately 20 mi; 32.19 km] on this side, and a day’s journey [approximately 20 mi; 32.19 km]on the other side, around the camp, and about two cubits [36 in; 91.44 cm] above the surface of the earth.
32 ၃၂ လူ များတို့သည် တနေ့လုံး ၊ တညဉ့်လုံး ၊ နက်ဖြန် လည်း တနေ့လုံး ထ ၍ ငုံး များကို စုသိမ်း ကြ၏။ နည်းနည်း သိမ်းသောသူသည် ဆယ် ဟောမဲ ကို သိမ်း ရ၏။ တပ် ပတ်လည် အရပ်ရပ်၌ ဖြန့် ထားကြ၏။
The people rose up all that day, and all of that night, and all the next day, and gathered the quails. He who gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them all out for themselves around the camp.
33 ၃၃ သို့ရာတွင်ငုံးသား ကို ကိုက် ၍ မ ဝါး မှီ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူတို့ကို အမျက် တော်ထွက်၍ အလွန် ပြင်း သော ဘေး နှင့်ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူ၏။
While the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, Adonai’s anger burned against the people, and Adonai struck the people with a very great plague.
The name of that place was called Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who lusted.
From Kibroth Hattaavah the people traveled to Hazeroth; and they stayed at Hazeroth.
