မြည်တမ်းစကား 5

1 ၁ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၌ ရောက် သော အမှု ကိုအောက်မေ့ တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ခံရသောကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကိုကြည့်ရှု ၍ ဆင်ခြင် တော်မူပါ။

Remember, O Yahweh, what hath befallen us, Look around, and see our reproach:

2 ၂ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ အမွေ ခံရာမြေသည် တပါး အမျိုးသားလက်သို့ ၎င်း ၊ နေရာအိမ် တို့သည်လည်း တကျွန်းတနိုင်ငံသား တို့လက်သို့ ၎င်း ရောက် ပါပြီ။

Our inheritance, turned over to foreigners, our houses, to aliens.

3 ၃ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မိ ဘမရှိသော သူငယ်ဖြစ် ကြပါ ၏။ အဘ ဆုံး ပါပြီ။ အမိ သည်မုတ်ဆိုးမ ကဲ့သို့ နေရပါ၏။

Orphans, have we become, and fatherless, our mothers, are widows indeed.

4 ၄ ငွေ ပေးမှ ရေ ကို သောက် ရပါ၏။ ထင်း ကိုလည်း ဝယ် ရပါ၏။

Our water—for silver, have we drunk, our wood—for a price, cometh in.

5 ၅ ထမ်းဘိုးကိုအစဉ်ထမ်းရပါ၏။ မ ရပ် မနေဘဲ လုပ်ကိုင် ရပါ၏။

Upon our necks, are our pursuers, We labour, and there is allowed us no rest.

6 ၆ စားစရာ ကိုရ ခြင်းငှါ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သား၊ အာရှုရိ ပြည်သားတို့၌ ကျွန် ခံရပါ၏။

To Egypt, have we stretched out our hand, to Assyria, to be satisfied with bread.

7 ၇ ဘိုးဘေး တို့သည်ပြစ်မှား ၍ သေပြီးမှ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် သူ တို့ အပြစ် များကိုခံ ရပါ၏။

Our fathers, sinned, and are not, and, we, their iniquities, have borne.

8 ၈ သူ့ကျွန် တို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို အုပ်စိုး ကြပါ၏။ သူ တို့လက် မှ အဘယ်သူမျှမကယ်မနှုတ်ပါ။

Slaves, have ruled over us, There is none to set free from their hand.

9 ၉ တော ၌ထား ဘေးနှင့် တွေ့၍ အသေခံ လျက် စားစရာ ကို ရှာရ ကြပါ၏။

At the risk of our life, do we bring in our bread, because of the sword of the desert.

10 ၁၀ မွတ်သိပ် ခြင်းအရှိန် ကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ အရေ သည် မီးဖို ကဲ့သို့ မည်း ပါ၏။

Our skin, as with a furnace, is scorched, because of the hot winds of famine.

11 ၁၁ ဇိအုန် မြို့၌ မိန်းမ များကို၎င်း၊ ယုဒ မြို့ ရွာတို့၌ မိန်းမပျို များကို၎င်း အဓမ္မ ပြုကြပါ၏။

Women—in Zion, were ravished, virgins, in the cities of Judah!

12 ၁၂ မှူးမတ် တို့ကို လက် ဖြင့် ဆွဲ ထားကြပါ၏။ အသက်ကြီး သူတို့ကိုလည်း မ ရိုသေ ကြပါ။

Princes, by their hand, have been hanged, The faces of elders, not honoured.

13 ၁၃ လူပျို တို့သည် ကြိတ်ဆုံ ကို ထမ်း ရကြပါ၏။ သူငယ် တို့သည်လည်း ထင်း အောက်မှာ လဲ ရကြပါ၏။

Young men, a millstone, have lifted, and, youths, under wood, have staggered.

14 ၁၄ အသက်ကြီး သူတို့သည် မြို့တံခါးဝ ၌ ၎င်း ၊ လူပျို တို့သည် ပွဲ သဘင်၌ ၎င်း ကွယ်ပျောက် ကြပါ၏။

Elders, from the gates, have ceased. Young men, from their music.

15 ၁၅ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် နှလုံး ရွှင်လန်း ခြင်းပြတ် ၍၊ က ခြင်းအရာ၌ ညည်းတွား ခြင်း ရှိ ကြပါ၏။

Ceased hath the joy of our hearts, Changed to mourning, our dance.

16 ၁၆ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ဆောင်း သော သရဖူ သည်ကျ ပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ပြစ်မှား သောကြောင့် အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိကြပါ၏။

Fallen is the crown of our head. Surely woe to us, for we have sinned.

17 ၁၇ ထိုကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည်စိတ် ပျက် ကြ ပါပြီ။ ထို အပြစ်ကြောင့် မျက်စိ တို့သည်လည်း မွဲ ကြပါ၏။

For this cause, faint is our heart, For these things, dimmed are our eyes:

18 ၁၈ လူဆိတ်ညံ လျက်ရှိသောဇိအုန် တောင် ပေါ်မှာ မြေခွေး တို့သည် သွား လာကြပါ၏။

Because of Mount Zion, which is desolate, jackals, have gone prowling therein.

19 ၁၉ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် နိစ္စ အမြဲတည် တော်မူ၏။ ပလ္လင် တော်သည်လည်း ထာဝရ ပလ္လင် ဖြစ်ပါ၏။

Thou, O Yahweh, unto times age-abiding, dost remain, Thy throne, from generation to generation:

20 ၂၀ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အဘယ် ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို အစဉ် မပြတ်မေ့လျော့ တော်မူသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ကာလ ကြာမြင့် စွာ စွန့်ပစ် တော်မူသနည်း။

Wherefore shouldst thou perpetually forget us? forsake us, to length of days?

21 ၂၁ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကိုအထံ တော်သို့ လှည့် စေတော်မူပါ။ သို့ပြုလျှင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ပြန် ၍ လာကြပါမည်။ ရှေး ကာလကဲ့သို့ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကာလ ကို အသစ် ပြုပြင်တော်မူပါ။

Bring us back, O Yahweh, unto thyself, and we will come back! Renew our days, as of old;

22 ၂၂ အကယ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို ရှင်းရှင်းပယ် တော်မူမည်လော။ ပြင်းစွာ အမျက်ထွက် တော်မူ မည်လော။

For though thou hast not, utterly rejected, us, thou art wroth with us—exceedingly!
