ယောဟန် 3
NOW there was a man of the Pharisees, whose name was Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 ၂ ညဉ့် အခါ ယေရှု ထံ တော်သို့ လာ ၍ ၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည်ပြ တော်မူသော ဤ နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာတို့ကို ဘုရားသခင် ၏အခွင့်မ ရှိ လျှင် အဘယ်သူ မျှမပြနိုင် သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ထောက်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ဘုရားသခင် အထံတော်မှ ကြွလာ တော်မူသောဆရာ ဖြစ် ကြောင်းကို သိ ကြပါ၏ဟုလျှောက် သော်၊
this man came to Jesus in the night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles which thou dost, unless God be with him.
3 ၃ ယေရှု က၊ ဒုတိယ မွေး ခြင်းကို မ ခံသောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်ကို မ မြင် ရ ဟု ငါ အမှန်အကန် ဆိုသည် ဟု ပြန် ၍မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 ၄ နိကောဒင် ကလည်း၊ အသက်ကြီး သောသူ သည်မွေး ခြင်းကိုအဘယ်သို့ ခံနိုင် ပါမည်နည်း။ အမိ ဝမ်း ထဲသို့ တဖန် ဝင် ၍ မွေးခြင်းကို ခံနိုင် ပါမည်လောဟု လျှောက် ၏။
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 ၅ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ရေ နှင့် ဝိညာဉ် တော် မ မွေး သောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်သို့ မ ဝင် ရဟု ငါ အမှန်အကန် ဆို၏။
Jesus replied, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 ၈ လေ သည် အလိုရှိ တိုင်းသွားလာ ၏။ လေ ၏အသံ ကို သင်သည်ကြား ရသော်လည်း အဘယ် အရပ်က ဖြစ် သည်၊ အဘယ် အရပ်သို့သွား သည်ကိုမ သိ နိုင်။ ထိုနည်းတူ ဝိညာဉ် တော်မွေး သောသူ ဖြစ် သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the sound of it, but knowest not from whence it cometh, nor whither it goeth: just so is every one who is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Jesus answered and said to him, Art thou a teacher of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 ၁၁ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်သိ သောအရာ ကိုပြော ၏၊ ကိုယ်မြင် သောအရာ ကို သက်သေခံ ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါ တို့၏ သက်သေခံ ချက်ကို သင်တို့သည် မ ခံ မယူကြ။
Verily, verity, I tell thee, That what we know we speak, and what we have seen we affirm; and ye receive not our testimony.
12 ၁၂ မြေကြီး အရာကို ငါပြော ၍ သင် တို့သည် မ ယုံ လျှင် ၊ ကောင်းကင် အရာကို ငါပြော သောအခါ အဘယ်သို့ ယုံ ကြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
If I have told you of earthly things, and ye believe not, how will you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 ၁၃ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံက ဆင်းသက် ၍ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ရှိနေသော လူ သား မှတစ်ပါး အဘယ်သူ မျှကောင်းကင် ဘုံသို့ မ တက် ပြီ။
Though no man hath ascended into heaven, except he that descended from heaven, that Son of man the I am in heaven.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, in like manner must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 ၁၅ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသား တော်ကို ယုံကြည် သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့မရောက်၊ ထာဝရ အသက် ကိုရ မည်အကြောင်းတည်း။ (aiōnios g166)
that every one who believeth on him may not perish, but have life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
16 ၁၆ ဘုရားသခင် ၏သား တော်ကို ယုံကြည် သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည်၊ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့မ ရောက်၊ ထာဝရ အသက် ကို ရ စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ၌ တစ်ပါးတည်း သော သား တော်ကို စွန့် တော်မူသည်တိုင်အောင် လောကီသား ကို ချစ် တော်မူ၏။ (aiōnios g166)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that every one who believeth in him should not perish, but have life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
17 ၁၇ လောကီသား တို့အားအပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းငှာ ၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည်သား တော်ကို ဤ လောက သို့ စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည်မ ဟုတ်။ လောကီသား တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် အားဖြင့် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်မည်အကြောင်း စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world by him might be saved.
18 ၁၈ သား တော်ကိုယုံကြည် သောသူ သည် အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို မ ခံရ။ မ ယုံကြည် သောသူ မူကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၌ တစ်ပါးတည်း သောသား တော်ကို မ ယုံကြည် သောကြောင့် ယခုပင် အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရ၏။
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is already under condemnation, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 ၁၉ အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြောင်း ကား၊ အလင်း သည် ဤလောက သို့ ဝင် ၍၊ လူ တို့သည် မကောင်း သောအကျင့် ကို ကျင့် သောကြောင့် ၊ အလင်း ထက် မှောင်မိုက် ကိုသာ၍ နှစ်သက် ကြ၏။
Now this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.
20 ၂၀ ဆိုးယုတ် သောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့် သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလင်း ကိုမြင်ပျင်း ၍ မိမိ တို့ အကျင့် ၌ အပြစ်ပါမည်ကိုမ ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှာ အလင်း သို့ မ ချဉ်းကပ် ကြ။
For every one whose practices are foul hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his actions may not be brought to conviction.
21 ၂၁ သမ္မာတရား ကို ကျင့် သောသူ မူကား ၊ မိမိ အကျင့် တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏အလိုတော်နှင့်ညီသည်ကို ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှာ အလင်း သို့ ချဉ်းကပ် သည် ဟု ဟော တော်မူ၏။
But he who practices the truth, cometh to the light, that his actions may be evident, as being done for God.
22 ၂၂ ထို နောက်မှ ယေရှု သည် တပည့် တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ယုဒ ပြည်၏ကျေးလက် သို့ ကြွ တော်မူလျှင်၊ ထို အရပ်၌ တပည့် တော်တို့နှင့်တကွ နေ တော်မူ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ပေးလေ၏။
After these things Jesus and his disciples went into the land of Judea; and there he abode with them, and baptised.
23 ၂၃ ယောဟန် သည်လည်း ၊ ရှာလိမ် မြို့နှင့်အနီး အဲနုန် အရပ်၌ ရေ များ သောကြောင့် ၊ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုပေး၍ နေသဖြင့်၊ လူများတို့သည်လာ ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ခံကြ၏။
Now John also was baptising at Enon, near to Salem, for there were many streams of water there: and they came, and were baptised.
For as yet John was not cast into prison.
25 ၂၅ ထိုအခါယောဟန် ၏တပည့် တို့သည် စင်ကြယ် ခြင်းကို အကြောင်း ပြု၍ ယုဒ လူနှင့် ဆွေးနွေး ငြင်းခုံခြင်း ရှိ ကြသဖြင့်၊
Then a dispute arose between the disciples of John and the Jews with regard to purification.
26 ၂၆ ယောဟန် ထံသို့ လာ ၍ ၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်တစ်ဘက် ၌ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်တကွ ရှိ ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သက်သေ ပေးသောသူ သည် ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုပေးလျက်နေ၏။ ထိုသူ ထံသို့ လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ရောက် ကြပါ၏ဟု လျှေက် လျှင်၊
And they came to John, and said to him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou gavest testimony, lo! this man baptiseth, and all men come to him.
27 ၂၇ ယောဟန် က၊ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံမှ ပေး တော်မ မူလျှင် လူ သည် အဘယ် အရာကိုမျှ မ ခံ နိုင် ရာ။ ငါ သည် ခရစ်တော် မ ဟုတ် ။
John answered and said, A man cannot assume any thing, except it be given him from heaven.
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Messiah, but that I am sent before him.
29 ၂၉ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်သတို့သမီး ကိုရ သောသူ သည်မင်္ဂလာဆောင် လုလင်ဖြစ် ၏။ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင် ၏ အနားမှာ နေ၍ သူ ၏စကားကိုကြား ရသော အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းသည်ထိုစကား သံကိုကြားသောအားဖြင့် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ထိုနည်းတူ ငါ ၏ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းပြည့်စုံ ၏။
It is the bridegroom, who possesses the bride: and the friend of the bridegroom, standing by and hearing him, rejoiceth exceedingly at the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
He must grow great, but I diminutive.
31 ၃၁ အထက် မှလာ သောသူ သည် အလုံးစုံ တို့၏ အထွဋ် ဖြစ် ၏။ မြေကြီး မှ ဖြစ် သောသူ သည် မြေကြီး နှင့် စပ်ဆိုင် ၍ မြေကြီး အရာ ကိုပြော တတ်၏။ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံမှ ကြွလာ သောသူ သည် အလုံးစုံ တို့၏အထွဋ် ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။
He that cometh from above is above all: he whose origin is from earth is of the earth, and speaketh of the earth: he who cometh from heaven is above all.
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; though no man receiveth his testimony.
He that receiveth his testimony hath avouched that God is true.
34 ၃၄ ဘုရားသခင် စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏စကား တော်ကို ပြောဆို တတ်၏။ ထိုသူ အား ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို အတိုင်း အရှည် မ ရှိဘဲ ပေး တော်မူ၏။
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God hath not given the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 ၃၅ ခမည်းတော် သည်သား တော်ကိုချစ် တော်မူ၍၊ ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရာတို့ကို သား တော်လက် သို့ အပ်ပေး တော်မူပြီ။
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
36 ၃၆ သား တော်ကို ယုံကြည် သောသူ သည် ထာဝရ အသက် ကိုရ ၏။ သား တော်ကို ပယ် သောသူ မူကား အသက် ကို မ တွေ့ ရ။ ထိုသူ ၏အပေါ် ၌ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အမျက် တော်တည်နေ သည်ဟု ယောဟန်ဟော လေ၏။ (aiōnios g166)
He that believeth on the Son hath life eternal: and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth upon him. (aiōnios g166)
