ကမ္ဘာဦး 4
1 ၁ ထိုနောက်၊ လူ အာဒံသည် မယား ဧဝ နှင့်ဆက်ဆံ သဖြင့် ၊ ဧဝသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေ စွဲယူ၍ ၊ ကာဣန ကို ဘွားမြင် လျှင် ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ လူ ကို ငါရ ပြီဟုဆို လေ၏။
The man knew Eve [Life] his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain [Acquisition], and said, “I have gotten a man with Adonai’s help.”
Again she gave birth, to Cain [Acquisition]’s brother Abel [Vanity, Mourning]. Abel [Vanity, Mourning] was a keeper of sheep, but Cain [Acquisition] was a tiller of the ground.
As time passed, Cain [Acquisition] brought an offering to Adonai from the fruit of the ground.
4 ၄ အာဗေလ သည်လည်း မိမိ သိုး စုတွင် အဦး ဘွားသော သားအချို့နှင့်၊ သိုး ဆီ ဥကိုဆောင် ခဲ့၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အာဗေလ နှင့် သူ ၏ပူဇော်သက္ကာ ကို ပမာဏ ပြုတော်မူ၏။
Abel [Vanity, Mourning] also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Adonai respected Abel [Vanity, Mourning] and his offering,
5 ၅ ကာဣန နှင့် သူ ၏ ပူဇော်သက္ကာ ကို ပမာဏ ပြုတော်မ မူ၊ ထိုကြောင့် ကာဣန သည် အလွန် စိတ်ဆိုး ၍ မျက်နှာ ပျက် လေ၏။
but he didn’t respect Cain [Acquisition] and his offering. Cain [Acquisition] was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.
Adonai said to Cain [Acquisition], “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?
7 ၇ သင်သည် ကောင်းမွန် စွာ ပြုလုပ်အခွင့် မ ရလော။ ကောင်းမွန် စွာ မ ပြုလျှင် ၊ အပြစ် ဖြေသော ယဇ်ကောင် သည်တံခါး နား မှာ ဝပ် လျက်ရှိ၏။ သူ သည် သင် ၏ အလို သို့လိုက်၍၊ သင် သည် သူ့ ကို အုပ်စိုး ရ၏ဟု ကာဣန ကို မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”
8 ၈ ကာဣန ကလည်း လယ်သို့ သွားကြကုန်အံ့ဟု ညီ အာဗေလ ကို ခေါ် ၍ ၊ လယ် သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ညီ အာဗေလ ကိုရန် ဘက်ပြု၍ သတ် လေ၏။
Cain [Acquisition] said to Abel [Vanity, Mourning], his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain [Acquisition] rose up against Abel [Vanity, Mourning], his brother, and murdered him.
9 ၉ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း သင့် ညီ အာဗေလ သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်းဟု ကာဣန ကို မေး တော်မူလျှင် အကျွန်ုပ်မ သိ ပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ညီ ကို စောင့် ရသောသူ ဖြစ် ပါသလောဟု လျှောက် ဆို၏။
Adonai said to Cain [Acquisition], “Where is Abel [Vanity, Mourning], your brother?” He said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
10 ၁၀ ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြု ပြီးသနည်း။ သင် ညီ အသွေး ၏အသံ သည် မြေ ထဲက ငါ့ ကို အော်ဟစ် လျက်ရှိသည်တကား။
Adonai said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.
11 ၁၁ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင့် ညီ ၏ အသွေး ကိုခံယူ ခြင်းငှါ ၊ မိမိ ပစပ် ကိုဖွင့် သော မြေကြီး ၏ ကျိန် ခြင်းကို သင် သည် ခံရသောကြောင့်၊
Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
12 ၁၂ ယခုမှစ၍မြေ ၌လုပ် သောအခါ ပကတိ အတိုင်း အသီးအနှံ ကို မ ရရ။ မြေကြီး ပေါ် မှ ပြေးရသောသူ၊ အရပ်ရပ်လည် ရသောသူဖြစ် ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
From now on, when you till the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”
Cain [Acquisition] said to Adonai, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 ၁၄ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို မြေကြီး ပြင် မှယနေ့ နှင်ထုတ် တော်မူပြီ၊ မျက်နှာ တော်ကိုလည်း မမြင် ရ။ မြေကြီး ပေါ် မှာ ပြေးရသောသူ၊ အရပ်ရပ်လည်ရသောသူဖြစ် ပါရမည်။ တွေ့ သမျှ သောသူတို့ သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုသတ် ပါလိမ့်မည် ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား ကို လျှောက် ဆို၏။
Behold, you have divorced and driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”
15 ၁၅ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကာဣန ကို သတ် သောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ခုနစ် ဆသောအပြစ် ဒဏ်ကိုခံ ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊ ကာဣန ကိုတွေ့ သောသူ တစုံတယောက် မျှ မ သတ် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ ၌ အမှတ် ပေး တော်မူ၏။
Adonai said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain [Acquisition], vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Adonai appointed a sign for Cain [Acquisition], so that anyone finding him would not strike him.
Cain [Acquisition] left Adonai’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden [Delight].
17 ၁၇ ထိုအခါ ကာဣန သည် မိမိ မယား နှင့် ဆက်ဆံ သဖြင့်၊ သူ သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲယူ၍ ၊ သားဧနောက် ကို ဘွားမြင် လေ၏။ ကာဣန သည်လည်း မြို့ ကိုတည် ၍ မိမိ သား ၏ အမည် အလိုက် ၊ ထိုမြို့ ကို ဧနောက် မြို့ဟု သမုတ် လေ၏။
Cain [Acquisition] knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
18 ၁၈ ဧနောက် သားကား၊ ဣရဒ် ၊ ဣရဒ် သားကား၊ မဟုယေလ ၊ မဟုယေလ သားကား၊ မသုရှလ ၊ မသုရှလ သားကား၊ လာမက် တည်း။
To Enoch was born Irad. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.
Lamech took two wives: the name of the first one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah.
20 ၂၀ အာဒံ သည် သားယာဗလ ကိုဘွား မြင်လေ၏။ ထိုသားကား၊ တဲ ၌နေ သောသူ ၊ သိုး နွားစသည်တို့ကို မွေးသောသူတို့ ၏ အဘ ဆရာ ဖြစ် လေသတည်း။
Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.
21 ၂၁ ယုဗလ အမည် ရှိသောညီ မူကား၊ စောင်း မျိုး၊ နှဲခရာ မျိုးတို့ကို တီးမှုတ် တတ်သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့၏ အဘ ဆရာဖြစ် လေသတည်း။
His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.
22 ၂၂ ဇိလ သည်လည်း ၊ သားတုဗလကာဣန ကို ဘွားမြင် လေ၏။ သူသည် ပန်းတဉ်း သမား၊ ပန်းပဲ သမား အပေါင်း တို့၏ဆရာ ဖြစ်လေ၏။ တုဗလကာဣန ၏နှမ ကား၊ နေမ အမည်ရှိ၏။
Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain [Acquisition], the forger of every cutting instrument of bronze and iron. Tubal Cain [Acquisition]’s sister was Naamah.
23 ၂၃ လာမက် ကလည်း အာဒံ နှင့် ဇိလ ၊ ငါ ပြော သံကို မှတ် ကြလော့။ လာမက် မယား တို့၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို နားထောင် ကြလော့။ ငါ့ ကိုထိခိုက် သော လူ တယောက်တည်းဟူသော ၊ ငါ့ ကိုညှဉ်းဆဲ သောလူပျို တယောက်ကို ငါသတ် ခဲ့ပြီ။
Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, for I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for bruising me.
24 ၂၄ ကာဣန သည် ခုနစ် ဆသောတရား ကိုရလျှင်၊ အကယ်၍ လာမက် သည်၊ အဆခုနှစ် ဆယ် ခုနစ် ဆသော တရားကို ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိမိမယားတို့ကိုပြောဆို၏။
If Cain [Acquisition] will be avenged seven times, truly Lamech seventy-seven times.”
25 ၂၅ အာဒံ သည်လည်း မိမိ မယား နှင့် တဖန် ဆက်ဆံ ပြန်လျှင်၊ မယားသည် သား ကို ဘွားမြင် ၍ ရှေသ ဟူသောအမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ကာဣန သတ် သော အာဗေလ ကိုယ်စား တပါး သောအနွယ် ကို အကျွန်ုပ် အဘို့ ဘုရား သခင်၌ ခန့်ထားတော်မူပြီဟု ဆိုသတည်း။
Adam [Human, Red earth] knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth [Appointed], saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel [Vanity, Mourning], for Cain [Acquisition] killed him.”
26 ၂၆ ရှေသ သည်လည်း သား ကိုရ ၍ ဧနုတ် ဟူသောအမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။ ထိုကာလ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နာမတော် ကို အမှီပြု၍ ကိုးကွယ်စ ပြုကြလေ၏၊
A son was also born to Seth [Appointed], and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on Adonai’s name.
