တမန်တော်ဝတ္ထု 8
1 ၁ သူ့ ကိုကွပ်မျက် သောအမှုကိုရှောလု သည်လည်း ဝန်ခံ လျက်ရှိ ၏။ထိုအခါ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ရှိသော အသင်းတော် သည် ပြင်းစွာ သောညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းကိုခံရသဖြင့် တမန်တော် တို့မှတပါး သင်းဝင်သူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ယုဒ ပြည်၊ ရှမာရိ ပြည်အရပ်ရပ် တို့၌ အနှံ့အပြားကွဲပြား ကြ၏။
And, Saul, was taking pleasure with them in his death. Moreover there arose, in that day, a great persecution against the assembly which was in Jerusalem; [and], all, were scattered abroad throughout the countries of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2 ၂ တရားကိုရိုသေ သောသူ တို့သည် သတေဖန် ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ၍ ပြင်းစွာ သောငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းခြင်းကို ပြု ကြ၏။
Howbeit reverent men assisted at the burial of Stephen, and made great lamentation over him.
3 ၃ ရှောလု သည် အသင်းတော် ကိုဖျက်ဆီး လေ၏။ အိမ် များသို့ ဝင် ပြီးလျှင်ယောက်ျား မိန်းမ တို့ကို ဆွဲငင် ၍ ထောင် ထဲ၌ လှောင် ထားတတ်၏။
But, Saul, went on to lay waste the assembly, along the houses, going in, and, dragging off both men and women, was
4 ၄ ထိုကြောင့် အရပ်ရပ်သို့ကွဲပြား သော သူ တို့သည် လှည့်လည် ၍ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်တည်းဟူသောဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောပြော ကြ၏။
They, indeed, therefore, who were scattered abroad, passed through, telling the good-news of the word;
And, Philip, going down unto the city of Samaria, proclaimed unto them the Christ.
6 ၆ လူ အစုအဝေးတို့သည်ကြား ၍ ဖိလိပ္ပု ပြု သော နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာတို့ကို မြင် သောအခါ၊ သူ၏စကား ကို တစ် ညီတစ်ညွတ်တည်း နားထောင် ကြ ၏။
And the multitudes began to give heed unto the things that were being spoken by Philip, with one accord, when they heard him, and saw the signs which he was working.
7 ၇ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ နတ် ဆိုး စွဲ သော သူ များတို့၏ အထဲမှ နတ်ဆိုးတို့သည် ပြင်းစွာ သော အသံ နှင့် အော်ဟစ် လျက်ထွက်သွား ကြ၏။ ကိုယ် မလှုပ်နိုင်သောသူ၊ ခြေမစွမ်း သောသူအများ တို့သည်လည်း ပကတိ အဖြစ် သို့ရောက်ကြ၏။
For, from many who had impure spirits, shouting with a loud voice, they were going out, and, many that were paralysed and lame, were cured.
And there came to be great joy in that city.
9 ၉ ရှိမုန် အမည် ရှိသော သူ တစ် ယောက်သည်၊ ထိုမြို့ ၌ နတ် ဝိဇ္ဇာအတတ်နှင့် ပြုပြင်၍၊ ငါ သည်ထူးဆန်း သော သူ ဖြစ် သည်ဟုဆို လျက်၊ ရှမာရိ အမျိုးသား တို့ကို မိန်းမော တွေဝေစေခြင်းငှာပြု၏။
But, a certain man named Simon, was already in the city, practising magical arts, and astonishing the nation of Samaria, —saying that himself was someone great:
10 ၁၀ လူကြီး လူငယ် ရှိသမျှတို့က လည်း၊ ဤသူ သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ မဟာ တန်ခိုး တော်ဖြစ် သည်ဟု ဆို လျက် ထိုသူ ၌ဆည်းကပ် ကြ၏။
Unto whom all were giving heed, from small even to great, saying—This, is the Power of God, which is called Great.
11 ၁၁ ဆည်းကပ် သည်အကြောင်း ကား၊ သူ တို့ကို မိန်းမော တွေဝေစေခြင်းငှာထိုသူသည် နတ် ဝိဇ္ဇာအတတ်အားဖြင့် ကြာမြင့် စွာပြုလျက်နေ၏။
And they were giving heed to him, because that, for a considerable time, with his magical arts, he had astonished them.
12 ၁၂ ဖိလိပ္ပု သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်၌၎င်း၊ ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ နာမ တော်နှင့် ၎င်း စပ်ဆိုင် သော ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို ဟောပြော၍ ထိုသူ တို့သည် ယုံကြည် သောအခါ ၊ ယောက်ျား မိန်းမ တို့သည် ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ခံကြ၏။
But, when they believed Philip telling the good news concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they proceeded to be immersed, both men and women.
13 ၁၃ ရှိမုန် သည်လည်း ကိုယ်တိုင် ယုံကြည် သည်ဖြစ်၍ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ခံပြီးမှ ဖိလိပ္ပု ထံ၌မှီဝဲ ဆည်းကပ်သဖြင့်၊ ထူးဆန်းသော တန်ခိုး ကြီး သော နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာများကို မြင် ၍ မိန်းမော တွေဝေလျက်ရှိ လေ၏။
And, Simon himself also, believed; and, having been immersed, was in constant attendance on Philip, —and, beholding signs and great works of power coming to pass, was astonished.
14 ၁၄ ရှမာရိ မြို့သားတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တရားတော်ကို ခံယူ ကြပြီဟု ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ရှိသော တမန်တော် တို့သည် သိတင်း ကြား လျှင် ၊ ပေတရု နှင့် ယောဟန် တို့ကို စေလွှတ် ကြ၏။
And the Apostles who were in Jerusalem, hearing that Samaria had welcomed the word of God, sent out unto them Peter and John;
Who, indeed, going down, prayed for them, that they might receive Holy Spirit; —
16 ၁၆ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် သောသူ အပေါ် ၌သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် သက်ရောက် တော် မ မူသေးသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ တမန်တော်တို့သည် ရောက်ကြလျှင်၊ ဝိညာဉ် တော် ကိုခံရ မည်အကြောင်း ထိုမြို့သူမြို့သားတို့ အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း ၍၊
For, not yet, had it, upon any one of them, fallen, but, only, to begin with, they had been immersed into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then, proceeded they to lay their hands upon them, and they were receiving Holy Spirit.
18 ၁၈ တမန်တော် တို့လက် ကိုတင် သောအားဖြင့် သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ် တော်သက်ရောက် သည်ကို ရှိမုန် မြင် လျှင်၊ ငွေ ကိုယူဆောင် ခဲ့၍၊
But Simon, seeing that, through means of the laying on of the hands of the Apostles, the Spirit was being given, offered unto them money,
19 ၁၉ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ လက် တင် ခြင်းကိုခံရသောသူ သည် သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကိုခံ စေမည်အကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ် အား အခွင့် ပေး ပါဟု တောင်း သော်၊
Saying—Give unto me also this authority, —in order that, on whomsoever may lay my hands, he may receive Holy Spirit.
20 ၂၀ ပေတရု က၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ငွေ နှင့်ဝယ်ယူ မည် ဟု အကြံရှိ သောကြောင့် ၊ သင် နှင့်တကွ သင် ၏ ငွေ သည်ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ပါစေ။
And Peter said unto him—Thy silver, with thee, go to destruction! Because, the free-gift of God, thou didst suppose could, with money, be obtained!
21 ၂၁ သင် သည်ဤ အမှုအရာ နှင့် မ ဆက်ဆံ သော သူဖြစ် ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင် ၏စိတ် နှလုံးသည် ဘုရားသခင့် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းမ ရှိ ။
Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter; for, thy heart, is not upright before God.
22 ၂၂ ထိုကြောင့် သင် ၌ ယခု ဆိုးညစ် သောအမှု ကို နောင်တရ လော့။ သင် ၏စိတ် နှလုံး၌ကြံစည် ခြင်းအပြစ်ကို လွှတ်ကောင်း လွှတ် လိမ့်မည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကို တောင်းပန် လော့။
Repent, therefore, from this thy baseness, and entreat of the Lord—whether, after all, the purpose of thy heart shall be forgiven thee;
23 ၂၃ သင် သည်ခါး စွာသောသည်းခြေ စွဲသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ဒုစရိုက် အနှောင်အဖွဲ့ နှင့်မလွတ်ကြောင်းကို ငါသိမြင် သည်ဟုဆို ၏။
For see that thou servest as a gall-root of bitterness, and a bond of unrighteousness.
24 ၂၄ ရှိမုန် ကလည်း၊ မိန့် တော်မူသောအရာ တစ်စုံတစ်ခု မျှ အကျွန်ုပ် အပေါ်သို့ မရောက် ပါမည် အကြောင်း ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကို ကျွန်ုပ် အဘို့ အလိုငှာ ဆုတောင်း တော်မူကြပါဟု ပြန်ပြော ၏။
And Simon, answering, said—Entreat ye, in my behalf, unto the Lord; that, nothing, may come upon me, of the things whereof ye have spoken!
25 ၂၅ တမန်တော် တို့သည် သက်သေခံ ၍ သခင်ဘုရား ၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တရားတော်ကိုဟော ပြီးမှ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ သို့ ပြန်သွား ရာ၊ ရှမာရိ ရွာ များ တို့၌လည်း ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောပြော ကြ၏။
They, therefore, having fully borne witness, and spoken the word of the Lord, began their return unto Jerusalem, and, unto many villages of the Samaritans, were they telling the glad tidings.
26 ၂၆ တဖန် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ဖိလိပ္ပု အား ၊ သင်ထ ၍ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့မှ ဂါဇ မြို့ သို့ သွား ရာ တော လမ်း တွင် တောင် မျက်နှာသို့ သွား လော့ ဟု ဆို သည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဖိလိပ္ပုသည်ထ ၍ သွား လေ၏။
And, a messenger of the Lord, spake unto Philip, saying—Arise, and be journeying along southward, unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, —the same, is desert.
27 ၂၇ ထိုအခါ အဲသယောပိ ပြည်ကိုအစိုးရ သော မိဖုရား ကန္ဒက် ထံ၌ဘုန်းကြီးသောအမတ်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဘဏ္ဍာ တော်ရှိသမျှ ကို အုပ်စိုး ရသော အဲသယောပိ ပြည်သားတစ်ယောက်သည် ကိုးကွယ် ခြင်းငှာယေရုရှလင် မြို့ သို့ သွား ၍၊
And, arising, he journeyed. And lo! a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch, one in power under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure [who] had come to worship in Jerusalem;
And was returning, and, sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.
And the Spirit said unto Philip—Go near, and join thyself unto this chariot!
30 ၃၀ ဖိလိပ္ပု သည် ရထားသို့ပြေး ၍ ပရောဖက် ဟေရှာယ ၏ ကျမ်းစာ၌ ဘတ် သည်ကိုကြား လျှင်၊ ဘတ် သောအရာ ကို နားလည် ပါ၏ လောဟု မေးမြန်း ၏။
And, running near, Philip heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said—Dost thou, then, understand what thou art reading?
31 ၃၁ ထိုအမတ်ကလည်း၊ သွန်သင် ပဲ့ပြင်သော သူ မ ရှိလျှင် အဘယ်သို့ နားလည်နိုင် မည်နည်းဟု ဆို ပြီးမှ မိမိ နှင့်အတူ ဖိလိပ္ပု တက် ၍ထိုင် နေ ပါမည်အကြောင်း တောင်းပန် ၏။
And, he, said—How indeed should be able—unless someone shall guide me? And he called upon Philip, to come up and sit with him.
32 ၃၂ ကျမ်းစာ ၌ ဘတ် သောအချက် ဟူမူကား၊ အသေ သတ် ခြင်းငှာ ဆောင်သွားသော သိုး ကဲ့သို့ သူ့ကို ဆောင်သွား ၍ ၊ သိုးသငယ် သည် အမွေးညှပ် သောသူ ရှေ့ မှာ မ မြည်ဘဲ နေသကဲ့သို့ သူ သည်နှုတ် ကိုမ ဖွင့် ဘဲနေ၏။
Now, the passage of Scripture which he was reading, was, this: —As a sheep, unto slaughter, was he led, and, as a lamb, before him that sheareth it, is dumb, so, he openeth not his mouth.
33 ၃၃ နှိမ့်ချ ခြင်းကိုခံစဉ်တွင်သူတစ်ပါးတို့သည် ထိုသူ ကို မတရား သဖြင့်စီရင် ကြ၏။ ထိုသူ ၏အသက် ကို မြေကြီး ကသိမ်းရုပ် သည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သူ ၏အမျိုးအနွယ် ကို အဘယ်သူ ပြညွှန် မည်နည်းဟု ကျမ်းစာလာသတည်း။
In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away, —his generation, who shall describe? because, his life, is taken away from the earth.
34 ၃၄ ထိုအမတ်ကလည်း၊ ပရောဖက် သည် အဘယ်သူ ကို ရည်မှတ် ၍ ဤသို့ ဆို ပါသနည်း။ ကိုယ် ကိုတည်း ဆိုလို သလော။ သူတစ်ပါး ကိုတည်း ဆိုလို သလောဟု တောင်းပန် လျက်၊
And the eunuch, making answer unto Philip, said—I pray thee! Of whom, is the prophet saying this? of himself, or, of some different person?
35 ၃၅ ဖိလိပ္ပု အား မေးမြန်း လျှင်၊ ဖိလိပ္ပု သည် မိမိ နှုတ် ကိုဖွင့် ၍ ထို ကျမ်းစာချက်ကို အစွဲပြုလျက်၊ ယေရှု ၏အကြောင်းတည်းဟူသောဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို ဟောလေ၏။
And Philip, opening his mouth, and beginning from this scripture, told him the glad tidings of Jesus.
36 ၃၆ ထိုသို့ လမ်း ၌သွား ကြစဉ် ရေ ရှိရာသို့ ရောက် ၍၊ အမတ် ကလည်း ဤအရပ်တွင်ရေ ရှိပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ဗတ္တိဇံ မခံစေခြင်းငှာမည်သည့် အကြောင်းဆီးတား ပါသနည်းဟု ပြောဆို လျှင် ၊
And, as they were journeying along the way, they came unto a certain water, —and the eunuch saith—Lo! water! What doth hinder my being immersed?
37 ၃၇ ဖိလိပ္ပုက၊ သင်သည် စိတ်နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့ယုံကြည်လျှင် ခံရသည် ဟုဆိုလေ၏။ အမတ်ကလည်း၊ ယေရှုခရစ်သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ သားတော်ဖြစ်တော်မူကြောင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်ယုံကြည်ပါသည်ဟု ဝန်ခံ၍၊
38 ၃၈ ရထား ကိုရပ် စေခြင်းငှာစီရင် ပြီးမှ ၊ ဖိလိပ္ပု သည် ထိုအမတ် နှင့်တကွ ရေ ထဲသို့ ဆင်း ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုပေး၏။
And he commanded the chariot to stand still; and they went down, both, into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, —and he immersed him.
39 ၃၉ ရေ ထဲက တက် ကြလျှင် ၊ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် ဖိလိပ္ပု ကိုဆောင်ယူ တော်မူ၍ ၊ အမတ် သည် ဖိလိပ္ပု ကို နောက်တဖန်မ တွေ့ မမြင်ရ။ ဝမ်းမြောက် ဝမ်းသာခြင်းနှင့် မိမိ သွားရသောလမ်း ကို သွား လေ၏။
But, when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, and the eunuch saw him no more; for he was going on his way rejoicing.
40 ၄၀ ဖိလိပ္ပု သည်လည်း အာဇုတ် မြို့၌ ပေါ်လာ၍၊ ထိုမြို့မှကဲသရိ မြို့တိုင်အောင်မြို့ ရွာအစဉ်အတိုင်း ရှောက်သွား ၍ ဧဝံဂေလိ တရားကို ဟောလေ၏။
Now Philip was found at Azotus; and, passing through, he was telling the glad tidings unto all the cities, until he came unto Caesarea.
