၂ ယောဟန် 1
1 ၁ အသက်ကြီး သူ သည် မြတ်သော သခင်မ ကို၎င်း ၊ သားသမီး တို့ကို ၎င်း ကြား လိုက်ပါ ၏။ ငါ တို့၌ တည် ၍ ငါ တို့တွင် အစဉ်မပြတ် ရှိ လတံ့သော သမ္မာတရား ကြောင့် ၊ (aiōn g165)
[You all know me as] the [chief] Elder. [I am writing this letter] to all of you [MET] in your congregation. [God has] chosen [you], and I love you truly! Not only do I myself love you, but all those who know [and accept the] true message [that Jesus taught] also love you!
2 ၂ ငါ မှစ၍ သမ္မာတရား ကို သိ သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့ သည်၊ သခင်မ နှင့် သားသမီး တို့၌ မှန်ကန် သောချစ် ခြင်း မေတ္တာ ရှိပါ၏။
All of us [believe God’s] true message. It is in our ([inner beings/hearts]) and we will continue [to believe it] forever! (aiōn g165)
3 ၃ ခမည်းတော် ဘုရား ထံ တော်က၎င်း ၊ ခမည်းတော် ၏သား တော်ယေရှု ခရစ် အထံ က၎င်း၊ သမ္မာတရား ၊ မေတ္တာ တရားနှင့်တကွ ၊ ကျေးဇူး ၊ ကရုဏာ ၊ ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းသည် သင်တို့၌ ရှိ ပါစေသော။
God the Father and Jesus Christ, who is (his Son/the man who is also God), will continue [to act] kindly and mercifully [toward us because they] love [us. They will enable us to have inner] peace, [because we believe] their true message.
4 ၄ ငါတို့သည် ခမည်းတော် ဘုရားထံ၌ ပညတ် တော်ကို ခံရ သည်အတိုင်း ၊ သင် ၏သားသမီး အချို့ တို့သည် သမ္မာတရား ၌ ကျင်လည် ၍ နေသည်ကို ငါတွေ့ သောအခါ၊ အလွန် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိ၏။
I am very happy because I learned about some of you [SYN] who are conducting your lives in a manner that is (consistent/in accordance) with [God’s] true message. You are doing that just like our Father [God] commanded us [to do].
5 ၅ ယခု တွင် ပညတ် တော်သစ် ကို မ ရေး ဘဲလျက် ၊ ငါတို့၌ရှေ့ဦးစွာ ကပင် ရှိ သော ပညတ်တော် ကို ရေးထား ၍၊ သခင်မ ၊ အချင်းချင်း ချစ် ခြင်းမေတ္တာရှိကြကုန်အံ့ဟု ငါတောင်းပန် ၏။
And now, dear congregation [MET], [there is something that] I am requesting you [to do]. I am writing this not to command that you do something new, but [that you continue to do] what God commanded when we first began [MTY] [to believe his true message. What he commanded] is that we love each other.
6 ၆ ပညတ် တော်တို့အတိုင်း ကျင့်စောင့် ခြင်းအရာ သည် ချစ် ရာရောက် ၏။ သင်တို့သည် ပညတ် တော်နှင့်အညီကျင့် မည်အကြောင်း ၊ ရှေ့ဦးစွာ ကပင် သင် တို့ ကြားရသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ပညတ် တော်သည်ထိုသို့သောသဘောရှိ ၏။
And [we really/truly] are loving [God] when we are conducting our lives in accordance with whatever he commands [us to do]. What he commands us to do is to continue [to love one another]. That is exactly what you heard when you first began [MTY] [to believe God’s true message].
7 ၇ လူဇာတိ အားဖြင့် ကြွလာ တော်မူသော ယေရှု ခရစ် ကို ငြင်းပယ် လျက်၊ လှည့်ဖြား သော သူအများ တို့သည် လောက ထဲသို့ ဝင် ကြပြီ။ ထိုသို့သောသူသည် လှည့်ဖြား သောသူ ဖြစ် ၏။ အန္တိခရစ် လည်း ဖြစ်၏။
Many people who deceive [others have left your congregation and] have now gone out among other people who are [in your area] [MTY]. They are the ones who (do not acknowledge/refuse to say) that Jesus Christ became human. They are the very ones who deceive [people] and oppose [what we teach about] Christ.
8 ၈ ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်ပြုစု သောအရာ မ ပျောက် မပျက်၊ စုံလင် သောအကျိုး ကို ရ မည်အကြောင်း ၊ သင် တို့သည် ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်သတိပြု၍ စောင့်ရှောက် ကြလော့။
[So] be sure that [you do not let those teachers deceive you]! If you let them deceive you, you will lose [the reward] which we, [together with you], have been working for, and you will not receive the complete reward [of being eternally united to God]!
9 ၉ ခရစ်တော် ၏ဒေသနာ ၌ မ တည် ဘဲ လွန်ကျူး သောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကိုမ သိ ။ ခရစ်တော်ဒေသနာ ၌ တည် သောသူ သည် ခမည်းတော် နှင့် သား တော်ကိုသိ ၏။
Those who change what Christ taught and do not continue [to believe] what he taught do not have [a relationship with] God. [But] those who continue to believe [what Christ] taught have [a close relationship with] both [God, our] Father, and with (his Son/the one who is also God).
10 ၁၀ ထို ဒေသနာ တော်မ ပါ သောသူ သည် သင် တို့ထံသို့ လာ လျှင် ၊ သူ့ ကိုသင့်အိမ် ၌ လက် မ ခံနှင့်။ မင်္ဂလာရှိစေသောဟု နှုတ် မ ဆက်နှင့်။
So when anyone comes to you who teaches something different from [what Christ] taught, do not welcome him into your homes! Do not [encourage him by] (wishing him well/greeting him as a fellow believer) [in any way]!
11 ၁၁ မင်္ဂလာရှိစေသောဟုထိုသူ ကိုနှုတ်ဆက် လျှင် ၊ သူ ၏ဆိုးယုတ် သောအကျင့် တို့နှင့် ဆက်ဆံ ရာသို့ ရောက်၏။
[I say that] because if you treat people like that as you would treat a fellow believer, [God will punish you] along with them for the evil that they do.
12 ၁၂ သင် တို့အား ငါရေး စရာအကြောင်း အများ ရှိ သော်လည်း ၊ စက္ကူ ပေါ်၌မှင် နှင့်ရေးခြင်းငှာအလို မ ရှိ၊ သင် တို့ဆီသို့ ငါလာ၍၊ အချင်းချင်း အားရဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းစုံလင် မည်အကြောင်း ၊ သင်တို့နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက်၍ စကားပြော မည်ဟုမြော်လင့် လျက်နေ ၏။
[Even though] I have much [more that I want] to tell you, I have decided not [to say it] in a letter [MTY]. Instead, I expect to be with you [soon] and talk directly with you. Then we can be completely joyful [together].
Your fellow believers here [MET], ones whom [God] has also chosen, (send their greetings to you/say that they are thinking affectionately about you).
