၂ ရာဇဝင်ချုပ် 17
And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.
2 ၂ ယုဒ ပြည်တွင်၊ ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ ရှိသမျှ တို့၌ ၊ တပ် သားများကိုထား ၏။ ယုဒ ပြည် အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ ၎င်း ၊ ဧဖရိမ် ပြည်မှာ ခမည်းတော် အာသ တိုက် ယူ သော မြို့ တို့၌ ၎င်း ၊ မြို့ စောင့်တပ်ကို အသီးအသီးခန့်ထား ၏။
And he placed forces in all the fortified cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim that Asa his father had taken.
3 ၃
And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat, for he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto the Baals;
4 ၄ ခမည်းတော် သည် အရင် လိုက်သောလမ်း သို့ ၊ ယောရှဖတ် လိုက် လျက် ၊ ဗာလ ဘုရားတို့ကို မ ဆည်းကပ် ၊ ခမည်းတော် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ကိုသာဆည်းကပ် သဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ထုံးစံ ကိုရှောင်၍၊ ပညတ်တရား တော်ကို ကျင့် သောကြောင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်စောင့်မ ၍၊
but he sought the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
5 ၅ နိုင်ငံ တော်ကိုယောရှဖတ် လက် ၌ တည်စေ တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ယုဒ ပြည်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် လက်ဆောင် များကို ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။
And Jehovah established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah gave gifts to Jehoshaphat; and he had riches and honour in abundance.
6 ၆ ဂုဏ် အသရေနှင့် စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာများ သော်လည်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ တရားလမ်း တို့၌ စိတ် စွဲလမ်း ၍ ၊ မြင့် သောအရပ်နှင့် အာရှရ ပင်တို့ကို ယုဒ ပြည်မှ ပယ်ရှား တော်မူ၏။
And he took courage in the ways of Jehovah; moreover, he removed the high places and Asherahs out of Judah.
7 ၇ နန်းစံ သုံး နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယုဒ မြို့ အရပ်ရပ် ၌ သွန်သင် စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ မှူးမတ် ဗင်ဟဲလ ၊ ဩဗဒိ ၊ ဇာခရိ ၊ နာသနေလ ၊ မိက္ခါယ တို့ကို၎င်း၊
And in the third year of his reign he sent his princes, Ben-hail, and Obadiah, and Zechariah, and Nethaneel, and Micah, to teach in the cities of Judah;
8 ၈ လေဝိ သားရှေမာယ ၊ နေသနိ ၊ ဇေဗဒိ ၊ အာသဟေလ ၊ ရှေမိရမုတ် ၊ ယောနသန် ၊ အဒေါနိယ ၊ တောဘိယ ၊ တောဘ ၊ ဒေါနိယတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧလိရှမာ နှင့် ယောရံ ကို၎င်း ၊ စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
and with them the Levites: Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tob-Adonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, the priests.
9 ၉ ထိုသူတို့သည် ယုဒ ပြည်၌ ဩဝါဒ ပေး၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်းပါလျက် ၊ ယုဒ မြို့ အရပ်ရပ် တို့တွင် ၊ လှည့်လည် သဖြင့် ၊ ပြည်သား တို့ကို သွန်သင် ကြ၏။
And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of Jehovah with them; and they went about through all the cities of Judah, and taught among the people.
10 ၁၀ ယုဒ ပြည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် တိုင်း နိုင်ငံရှိသမျှ တို့ သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ၍ ၊ ယောရှဖတ် ကို စစ် မ တိုက်ဝံ့ဘဲ နေကြ၏။
And the terror of Jehovah was upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, and they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
11 ၁၁ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့သည် လက်ဆောင် နှင့် အခွန် ငွေကို၎င်း ၊ အာရပ် လူတို့သည် သိုး ခုနစ် ထောင် ခုနစ် ရာ နှင့် ဆိတ် ခုနစ် ထောင် ခုနစ် ရာ ကို၎င်း ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။
And some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat gifts and tribute-silver. The Arabians also brought him flocks, seven thousand seven hundred rams, and seven thousand seven hundred he-goats.
12 ၁၂ ယောရှဖတ် သည် အလွန် ခွန်အား တိုးပွား၍ ၊ ယုဒ ပြည်၌ ရဲတိုက် နှင့် ဘဏ္ဍာ တော်မြို့ တို့ကို တည် တော်မူ ၏။
And Jehoshaphat waxed exceeding great; and he built in Judah castles and store-cities.
13 ၁၃ ယုဒ မြို့ တို့၌ အမှု အရေးတော်များ ၏။ ခွန်အား ကြီး သော စစ်သူရဲ တို့သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ရှိ ကြ၏။
And he had much business in the cities of Judah; and men of war, strong and valiant, in Jerusalem.
14 ၁၄ စစ်သူရဲအဆွေအမျိုး အလိုက် ယူသော စာရင်း ဟူမူကား ၊ ယုဒ အမျိုး ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်းအာဒန နှင့် ခွန်အား ကြီး သော စစ်သူရဲ သုံး သိန်း၊
And these are the numbers of them according to their fathers' houses. Of Judah the captains of thousands: Adnah the captain, and with him three hundred thousand mighty men of valour;
and next to him was Johanan the captain, and with him two hundred and eighty thousand;
16 ၁၆ စေတနာစိတ်နှင့်ကိုယ်ကိုထာဝရဘုရား အား ပူဇော် သော ဇိခရိ သား အာမသိ နှင့် ခွန်အား ကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲနှစ် သိန်း၊
and next to him, Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself to Jehovah; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.
And of Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valour, and with him two hundred thousand, armed with bow and shield;
and next to him was Jehozabad, and with him a hundred and eighty thousand ready prepared for war.
19 ၁၉ ယုဒ ပြည်အရပ်ရပ် ၊ ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ တို့၌ ရှင်ဘုရင် ထား သော သူရဲမှတပါး၊ အထက်ဆိုခဲ့ပြီးသောသူတို့ သည် အမှုတော်ကို ထမ်းလျက်နေကြ၏။
These were they that waited on the king, besides those that the king had put in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
