၁ တိမောသေ 2
My desire is, first of all, that you will make requests and prayers and give praise for all men;
2 ၂ ငြိမ်ဝပ် ဆိတ်ညံ စွာနေ ရမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် မှစ၍ မင်းအာဏာ ရှိ သော သူ အပေါင်း တို့နှင့် လူ အမျိုးမျိုး တို့အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း ပဌနာပြုခြင်း၊ မေတ္တာပို့ ခြင်း၊ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းကို ရှေ့ဦးစွာ ပြု စေခြင်းငှာငါ တိုက်တွန်းသွေးဆောင်၏။
For kings and all those in authority; so that we may have a calm and quiet life in all fear of God and serious behaviour.
3 ၃ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသို့သောအမှုသည် ကောင်း သောအမှုဖြစ်၏။ ငါ တို့ကိုကယ်တင် တော်မူသော အရှင်ဘုရားသခင် နှစ်သက် တော်မူသောအမှုလည်း ဖြစ်၏။
This is good and pleasing in the eyes of God our Saviour;
4 ၄ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက် ၍ သမ္မာတရား ကို သိ စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ ဘုရားသခင် အလို တော် ရှိ၏။
Whose desire is that all men may have salvation and come to the knowledge of what is true.
5 ၅ ဘုရားသခင် တဆူတည်း ရှိတော်မူ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် နှင့် လူ တို့၏ စပ်ကြားမှာ၊ လူ ဖြစ်သော ယေရှု ခရစ် တည်းဟူသောအာမခံ တစ်ဦးတည်း ရှိ၏။
For there is one God and one peacemaker between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
6 ၆ ထိုအာမခံသည် လူအပေါင်း တို့ကို ရွေး အံ့သောငှာ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် စွန့် တော်မူပြီ။ ကာလ အချိန်တန်မှ သက်သေခံ ခြင်းရှိ၏။
Who gave himself as an offering for all; witness of which was to be given at the right time;
7 ၇ ငါ သည်ထိုသက်သေခံ သောသူ အရာ၌၎င်း ၊ တမန်တော် အရာ၌၎င်း၊ ယုံကြည် ခြင်းတရားနှင့် သမ္မာတရား ကို တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့အား ဟောပြောသောဆရာ အရာ၌၎င်း ခန့်ထားတော်မူသောသူ ဖြစ်သည်ဟု ငါဆိုသော်၊ မုသား စကားကိုမ ဆို၊ မှန် သောစကားကိုဆို ၏။
And of this I became a preacher and an Apostle (what I say is true, not false, ) and a teacher of the Gentiles in the true faith.
8 ၈ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ အရပ်ရပ် တို့၌ ယောက်ျား တို့သည် အမျက်ထွက် ခြင်း၊ ငြင်းခုံ ခြင်းမ ရှိဘဲ၊ သန့်ရှင်း သောလက် ကိုချီ ၍ ဆုတောင်း စေခြင်းငှာငါအလိုရှိ ၏။
It is my desire, then, that in every place men may give themselves to prayer, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or argument.
9 ၉ ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ မိန်းမ တို့သည် ကျစ် သောဆံပင်၊ ရွှေ တန်ဆာ၊ ကျောက်ပုလဲ အဘိုး ထိုက်သော အဝတ် နှင့် ကိုယ် ကိုမ ဆင် ဘဲ၊ ရှက်ကြောက် ခြင်း၊ ဣန္ဒြေ စောင့်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်၊ လျောက်ပတ် သော အဝတ်နှင့်၎င်း
And that women may be dressed in simple clothing, with a quiet and serious air; not with twisted hair and gold or jewels or robes of great price;
10 ၁၀ ဘုရားသခင် အားရိုသေလေးမြတ်ခြင်းကို ဝန်ခံ ပြုစုသော မိန်းမ ဆင်သင့်သည်အတိုင်း ကောင်း သော အကျင့် နှင့်၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်ကိုတန်ဆာဆင်စေခြင်းငှာငါအလိုရှိ၏။
But clothed with good works, as is right for women who are living in the fear of God.
Let a woman quietly take the place of a learner and be under authority.
12 ၁၂ မိန်းမ သည်ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးခြင်း၊ ယောက်ျား ကို အစိုးတရ ပြုစေခြင်းအခွင့် ကိုငါမ ပေး။ သူသည် တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ နေ အပ်၏။
In my opinion it is right for a woman not to be a teacher, or to have rule over a man, but to be quiet.
For Adam was first formed, then Eve;
And Adam was not taken by deceit, but the woman, being tricked, became a wrongdoer.
15 ၁၅ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ ဣန္ဒြေ စောင့်ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ ယုံကြည် ခြင်း၊ ချစ် ခြင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်း၌ တည် လျှင် ၊ သားဘွား ခြင်းအမှု၌ ကယ်တင် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။
But if they go on in faith and love and holy self-control, she will be kept safe at the time of childbirth.
