၁ ဓမ္မရာဇဝင် 12

1 ၁ ရှမွေလ ကလည်း ၊ သင်တို့ပြော သမျှ သော စကား ကို ငါနားထောင် ၍ ၊ သင် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို ငါချီးမြှောက် လေပြီ။

Samuel said to all Israel, “Behold, I have listened to your voice in all that you said to me, and have made a king over you.

2 ၂ ယခု မှာ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် သင် တို့ရှေ့ ၌ ကြွ နေတော်မူ၏။ ငါ သည် အသက် ကြီး၍ ဆံပင် ဖြူပြီ။ ငါ့ သား တို့ သည် သင် တို့၌ ရှိကြ၏။ ငါ သည် ငယ် သော အရွယ်မှစ၍ ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် သင် တို့ရှေ့ ၌ သွား ပြီ။

Now, behold, the king walks before you. I am old and gray-headed. Behold, my sons are with you. I have walked before you from my youth to this day.

3 ၃ ဤအရပ်၌ ယခု ငါ ရှိ ၏။ အဘယ်သူ ၏ နွား ကို ငါယူ ဘူးပြီနည်း။ အဘယ်သူ ၏ မြည်း ကို ယူ ဘူးပြီနည်း။ အဘယ်သူ ကို လှည့်စား ဘူးပြီနည်း။ အဘယ်သူ ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ ဘူးပြီနည်း။ ကိုယ် မျက်စိ ကိုကွယ် စေခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူ လက် မှ တံစိုး ကိုခံ ဘူးပြီနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ ၊ ဘိသိက် တော်ကိုခံသောသူ ရှေ့ မှာ ငါ့ တဘက် ၌ သက်သေခံ ကြလော့။ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို ငါယူမိလျှင် ပြန် ပေးပါမည်ဟု ဣသရေလ လူအပေါင်း တို့အား ပြော ဆိုသော်၊

Here I am. Witness against me before the LORD and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a bribe to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

4 ၄ သူတို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို မ လှည့်စား ပါ။ မ ညှဉ်းဆဲ ပါ။ အဘယ်သူ ၏ ဥစ္စာကိုမျှ မ ယူ ပါဟု ပြောဆို ကြ၏။

They said, “You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither have you taken anything from anyone’s hand.”

5 ၅ ရှမွေလကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ လက် ၌ သူတပါး၏ဥစ္စာ ကို ရှာ ၍ မ တွေ့ကြောင်း ကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့တဘက် ၌ သက်သေ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ဘိသိက် တော်ကိုခံသောသူလည်း သက်သေ ဖြစ်၏ဟု ဆို လျှင် ၊ သူတို့က၊ သက်သေ ဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟု ဝန်ခံ ကြ၏။

He said to them, “The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness today, that you have not found anything in my hand.” They said, “He is witness.”

6 ၆ တဖန် ရှမွေလ က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေ နှင့် အာရုန် ကို ချီးမြှောက်၍ ၊ သင် တို့ဘိုးဘေး များကို အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် မှ ဆောင် ခဲ့တော်မူ၏။

Samuel said to the people, “It is the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.

7 ၇ ယခု တွင် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့နှင့် သင် တို့ဘိုးဘေး များ၌ တရား သဖြင့် ပြု တော်မူသောအမှုတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်မှာ သင် တို့အား ငါဆွေးနွေး ဟောပြောမည်။

Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before the LORD concerning all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.

8 ၈ ယာကုပ် သည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သို့ ရောက် ၍ ၊ သင် တို့ဘိုးဘေး တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား အား အော်ဟစ် သောအခါ ၊ မောရှေ နှင့် အာရုန် ကို စေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ဘိုးဘေး တို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင် ၍ ဤ ပြည် ၌ နေရာ ချတော်မူ၏။

“When Jacob had come into Egypt, and your fathers cried to the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt, and made them to dwell in this place.

9 ၉ သူ တို့၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မေ့လျော့ သောအခါ ၊ ဟာဇော် ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်း သိသရ လက် သို့ ၎င်း ၊ ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ လက် သို့ ၎င်း ၊ မောဘ ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် သို့ ၎င်း ရောက်စေတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ထိုရန်သူတို့၏တိုက်ဖျက် ခြင်းကိုခံရကြ၏။

But they forgot the LORD their God; and he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the army of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.

10 ၁၀ တဖန် သူတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား အား အော်ဟစ် လျက် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို စွန့် ၍၊ ဗာလ ဘုရားနှင့် အာရှတရက် ဘုရားတို့ကို ဝတ်ပြု သဖြင့် ပြစ်မှား ပါပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ရန်သူ လက် မှ ကယ်ချွတ် တော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကို ဝတ်ပြု ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြသောအခါ၊

They cried to the LORD, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD and have served the Baals and the Ashtaroth; but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve you.’

11 ၁၁ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ယေရုဗ္ဗာလ ၊ ဗာရက် ၊ ယေဖသ ၊ ရှမွေလ တို့ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ရန်သူ တို့ လက် မှ ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူသဖြင့် သင်တို့သည် ဘေး လွတ်ရကြ၏။

The LORD sent Jerubbaal, Bedan, Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side; and you lived in safety.

12 ၁၂ နောက် တဖန် အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသား ရှင်ဘုရင် နာဟတ် သည် စစ်ချီမည်အကြောင်းကို သိ သောအခါ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အရင်ကဲ့သို့မ ဟုတ်၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို အုပ်စိုး ရမည်ဟု သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ရှင်ဘုရင် လုပ်လျက်ပင်ငါ့ အား လျှောက် ထားကြ၏။

“When you saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the LORD your God was your king.

13 ၁၃ ယခု မှာ သင်တို့လိုချင် ၍ ရွေးချယ် သော ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို ကြည့်ရှု ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါချီးမြှောက် တော်မူပြီ။

Now therefore see the king whom you have chosen and whom you have asked for. Behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

14 ၁၄ သင်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ၍ ဝတ်ပြု ခြင်းနှင့်တကွအာဏာ တော်ကို မ ဆန် ၊ စကား တော်ကို နားထောင် လျှင် သင် တို့နှင့် သင် တို့ကို အုပ်စိုး သော ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား နောက် တော်သို့ အမြဲလိုက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

If you will fear the LORD, and serve him, and listen to his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then both you and also the king who reigns over you are followers of the LORD your God.

15 ၁၅ သို့မဟုတ် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကား တော်ကို နား မ ထောင်၊ အာဏာ တော်ကို ဆန် လျှင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လက် တော်သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့ကို ဆီးတားသကဲ့သို့ သင် တို့ကို ဆီးတားတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

But if you will not listen to the LORD’s voice, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the LORD’s hand will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

16 ၁၆ ယခု မှာ သင် တို့မျက်မှောက် ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား ပြု တော်မူလတံ့သော အမှု ကြီး ကို ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ နေ ၍ ကြည့်ရှု လော့။

“Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.

17 ၁၇ ယနေ့ ဂျုံ စပါးရိတ် ရာ ကာလဖြစ်သည် မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်းထာဝရဘုရား ကို ငါဆုတောင်း ၍ မိုဃ်းချုန်း ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ မိုဃ်း ရွာစေတော်မူမည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင် တို့သည် ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို တောင်း သောအားဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ပြစ်မှား မိသော အပြစ် သည် ကြီး ကြောင်း ကို ရိပ်မိ သိမြင် ရကြမည် ဟု လူများတို့အား ပြောဆိုပြီးလျှင်၊

Is not it wheat harvest today? I will call to the LORD, that he may send thunder and rain; and you will know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the LORD’s sight, in asking for a king.”

18 ၁၈ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဆုတောင်း ၍ ၊ ထို နေ့၌ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိုဃ်းချုန်း ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ မိုဃ်း ရွာစေ တော်မူ၍ ၊ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား နှင့် ရှမွေလ ကို အလွန် ကြောက်ရွံ့ ကြ၏။

So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day. Then all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

19 ၁၉ လူ အပေါင်း တို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျွန်တို့သည် မ သေ ရမည်ကြောင်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား အား ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် တို့အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို တောင်း သောအားဖြင့် အထက်အပြစ် များတို့အပေါ်မှာ ထပ် ၍ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြုမိပါပြီဟု ရှမွေလ အား တောင်းပန် ကြ၏။

All the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, that we not die; for we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask for a king.”

20 ၂၀ ရှမွေလ ကလည်း မ စိုးရိမ် ကြနှင့်။ ဤ ဒုစရိုက် အပေါင်း ကို ပြု မိသော်လည်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား နောက် တော်သို့ လိုက်ရာမှ မ လွှဲ ကြနှင့်။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို စိတ် နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့ ဝတ်ပြု ကြလော့။

Samuel said to the people, “Do not be afraid. You have indeed done all this evil; yet do not turn away from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.

21 ၂၁ ကျေးဇူး မ ပြု မ ကယ်တင် နိုင်၊ အချည်းနှီး ဖြစ်သော အရာတို့နောက် သို့ လမ်း လွှဲ၍ မ လိုက်ကြနှင့်။ ထိုသို့သောအရာသည် အချည်းနှီး သက်သက်ဖြစ်၏။

Do not turn away to go after vain things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are vain.

22 ၂၂ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မဟာ နာမ တော်ကိုထောက် ၍ မိမိ လူ တို့ကို စွန့် တော်မ မူ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့ကို မိမိ လူ အရာ၌ ခန့် ထားခြင်းငှါ အလို ရှိတော်မူပြီ။

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people for himself.

23 ၂၃ ငါ မူကား သင် တို့အဘို့ ဆု မတောင်းဘဲ နေသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ပြစ်မှား ခြင်းအမှုသည် ငါ နှင့် ဝေး ပါစေသော။ ကောင်းမွန် ဖြောင့်မတ် သော လမ်း ကိုလည်း သင် တို့အား ငါပြသ ဦးမည်။

Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

24 ၂၄ သို့ရာတွင် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ၍ သစ္စာ နှင့်တကွ စိတ် နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့ ဝတ်ပြု ကြလော့။ သင် တို့အဘို့ အဘယ် မျှလောက်ပြု တော်မူပြီးသည်ကို အောက်မေ့ ကြလော့။

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.

25 ၂၅ သို့မဟုတ် သင်တို့သည် ဒုစရိုက် ပြုမြဲပြုလျှင် ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့်တကွ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု လူ များတို့အား ပြောဆို လေ၏။

But if you keep doing evil, you will be consumed, both you and your king.”
