၁ ရာဇဝင်ချုပ် 21
1 ၁ နောက် တဖန်စာတန် သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး တဘက် ၌ထ ၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ကို ရေတွက် စေခြင်းငှါ ဒါဝိဒ် ကို တိုက်တွန်း လေ၏။
Then Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.
2 ၂ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ လူပေါင်းမည်မျှရှိသည်ကို ငါသိ မည်အကြောင်း ၊ ဗေရရှေဘ မြို့မှ သည် ဒန် မြို့တိုင်အောင် သွား ၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ ကိုရေတွက် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ စာရင်းကို ငါ့ ထံသို့ သွင်း လော့ဟု ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မင်းယွာဘ နှင့် အရာရှိ တို့အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan and bring me a report, so that I may know their number.”
3 ၃ ယွာဘ ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ လူ တို့ကို ထပ်၍အဆ တရာ တိုးပွါး စေခြင်းငှါပြုတော်မူပါစေသော။ သို့ရာတွင်အရှင် မင်းကြီး ၊ ဣသရေလ လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် သခင် ၏ကျွန် ဖြစ်ပါသည် မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်တော် သခင် သည် ဤ အမှုကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့် စီရင်တော်မူသနည်း။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ပြစ်မှား စရာ အကြောင်းကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ပြု တော်မူသနည်းဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
But Joab replied, “May the LORD multiply His troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all servants of my lord? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?”
4 ၄ သို့သော်လည်း အမိန့် တော်သည် ယွာဘ စကားကို နိုင် သဖြင့် ၊ ယွာဘ သည်ထွက် ၍ ဣသရေလ ပြည် တရှောက်လုံး သို့ သွား ပြီးမှ ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ ပြန်လာ ၏။
Nevertheless, the king’s word prevailed against Joab. So Joab departed and traveled throughout Israel, and then he returned to Jerusalem.
5 ၅ လူ ပေါင်းစာရင်း ကို ဒါဝိဒ် အား ဆက် ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ ထား ကိုင် သူရဲ တသန်း နှင့် တသိန်း ၊ ယုဒ အမျိုး၌ ထား ကိုင် သူရဲ လေးသိန်း နှင့် ခုနစ်သောင်းရှိ ၏။
And Joab reported to David the total number of the troops. In all Israel there were 1,100,000 men who drew the sword, including 470,000 in Judah.
6 ၆ သို့ရာတွင် ယွာဘ သည် အမိန့် တော်ကို ရွံ သောကြောင့် ၊ လေဝိ အမျိုးနှင့် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးကို အခြားသော အမျိုးထဲသို့ သွင်း၍ မ ရေတွက်။
But Joab did not include Levi and Benjamin in the count, because the king’s command was detestable to him.
This command was also evil in the sight of God; so He struck Israel.
8 ၈ ဒါဝိဒ် က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြု မိသော အမှု ၌အလွန် ပြစ်မှား ပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ၏ အပြစ် ကို ဖြေရှင်း တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အလွန် မိုက် သော အမှုကို ပြုမိပါပြီဟု ဘုရားသခင် အား တောင်းပန် လေ၏။
Then David said to God, “I have sinned greatly because I have done this thing. Now I beg You to take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.”
And the LORD instructed Gad, David’s seer,
10 ၁၀ ဒါဝိဒ် ထံသို့ သွား လော့။ အရာသုံး ပါးကို သင့် အား ငါ ပြ ၏။ သင် ၌ ငါပြု စရာဘို့ တပါးပါး ကိုရွေး လော့ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို ဆင့်ဆို လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊
“Go and tell David that this is what the LORD says: ‘I am offering you three options. Choose one of them, and I will carry it out against you.’”
So Gad went and said to David, “This is what the LORD says: ‘You must choose
12 ၁၂ သုံး နှစ် ပတ်လုံးအစာ အာဟာရခေါင်းပါးသော ဘေး၊ သုံး လ ပတ်လုံးသင့် ကို ရန်သူ လိုက်မှီ ၍ ထား ဖြင့် လုပ်ကြံ သောဘေး၊ သုံး ရက် ပတ်လုံးပြည် တော် ၌ ကာလနာ တည်းဟူသောထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ထား တော် ကို၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ကိုင်၍ ဣသရေလ ပြည် တရှောက်လုံး ကို ဖျက်ဆီး သော ဘေးတို့တွင် တပါးပါးကိုရွေး လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည် ဖြစ်၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူအား အဘယ်သို့ ပြန် လျှောက်ရမည်ကို ဆင်ခြင် တော်မူပါဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
between three years of famine, three months of being swept away before your enemies and overtaken by their swords, or three days of the sword of the LORD—days of plague upon the land, with the angel of the LORD ravaging every part of Israel.’ Now then, decide how I should reply to Him who sent me.”
13 ၁၃ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း၊ ငါ သည် ကျဉ်းမြောင်း ရာသို့ ရောက်လေပြီတကား။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏လက် တော်သို့ ရောက် ပါစေ။ ကရုဏာ တော်ကြီး လှ၏။ လူ လက် သို့ မ ရောက် ပါစေနှင့်ဟုဂဒ် အား ပြန်ပြော ၏။
David answered Gad, “I am deeply distressed. Please, let me fall into the hand of the LORD, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.”
So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell dead.
15 ၁၅ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး စေခြင်းငှါ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ကောင်းကင်တမန် ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း ၊ ကောင်းကင်တမန် ဖျက်ဆီး မည်ဟု အားထုတ်သောအခါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကြည့်ရှု လျက်၊ ထိုဘေး ကြောင့် နောင်တရ တော်မူ၍၊ တန် ပြီ။ သင့် လက် ကို ရုပ်သိမ်း လော့ဟု ဖျက်ဆီး သော ကောင်းကင် တမန်အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည်၊ ယေဗုသိ လူအရောန ၏ ကောက်နယ် တလင်း အနား မှာ ရပ်နေ ၏။
Then God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem, but as the angel was doing so, the LORD saw it and relented from the calamity, and He said to the angel who was destroying the people, “Enough! Withdraw your hand now!” At that time the angel of the LORD was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
16 ၁၆ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် မျှော်ကြည့် ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည်ယေရုရှလင် မြို့အပေါ် မှာထား ကို မိုး လျက်မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်နှင့် မြေကြီး ကြား မှာ ရပ်နေ သည် ကိုမြင် လျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်မှစ၍ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့သည် လျှော်တေ အဝတ်ကို ဝတ် လျက် မြေပေါ်မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ် လျက်နေကြ၏။
When David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem, David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown.
17 ၁၇ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ ပြည်သား တို့ကို ရေတွက် စေခြင်းငှါ စီရင် သော သူကား အကျွန်ုပ် ဖြစ်ပါသည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြစ်မှား ပါပြီ။ အလွန်ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြုမိပါပြီ။ ဤ သိုး တို့မူကား အဘယ်သို့ ပြု မိပါသနည်း။ အိုအကျွန်ုပ် ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ တို့ကို ဒဏ်ခတ် ခြင်းငှါလက် တော်ကိုသူတို့အပေါ်သို့ ရောက်စေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။ အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ် အဆွေအမျိုး အပေါ် သို့ ရောက် စေတော်မူပါဟု ဘုရားသခင် အား တောင်းပန် လေ၏။
And David said to God, “Was it not I who gave the order to count the people? I am the one who has sinned and acted wickedly. But these sheep, what have they done? O LORD my God, please let Your hand fall upon me and my father’s house, but do not let this plague remain upon Your people.”
18 ၁၈ ထိုအခါဒါဝိဒ် သည် သွား ၍၊ ယေဗုသိ လူ အရောန ၏ကောက်နယ် တလင်း၌ ထာဝရဘုရား အဘို့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ကို တည် စေခြင်းငှါ ပြော ရမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ဂဒ် ကို မှာထား သဖြင့်၊
Then the angel of the LORD ordered Gad to tell David to go up and build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
So David went up at the word that Gad had spoken in the name of the LORD.
20 ၂၀ အရောန သည်စပါး ကိုနယ် စဉ်တွင်၊ လှည့်ကြည့် ၍ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို မြင် သောအခါ ၊ သား လေး ယောက်နှင့်တကွ ပုန်းရှောင် ၍နေ၏။
Now Ornan was threshing wheat when he turned and saw the angel; and his four sons who were with him hid themselves.
21 ၂၁ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် အရောန ရှိရာ သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ အရောန ကြည့် ၍ ဒါဝိဒ် ကိုမြင် လျှင် ၊ ကောက်နယ် တလင်း မှ ဆင်း ၍ ဒါဝိဒ် ရှေ့ မှာဦးချ ပြပ်ဝပ်လေ၏။
David came to Ornan, and when Ornan looked out and saw David, he left the threshing floor and bowed facedown before David.
22 ၂၂ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း၊ လူ တို့တွင် ကာလနာ ဘေးကို ငြိမ်း စေမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အဘို့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ကို ငါတည် လိုသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ဤကောက်နယ် တလင်းအရပ် ကို အဘိုး ထိုက်သည်အတိုင်း ရောင်း ပါဟု အမိန့် ရှိသော်၊
Then David said to Ornan, “Grant me the site of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar to the LORD. Sell it to me for the full price, so that the plague upon the people may be halted.”
23 ၂၃ အရောန က၊ ကျွန်တော် သခင် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ယူ တော်မူပါ။ စိတ် တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပြု တော်မူပါ။ မီး ရှို့ရာယဇ်ဘို့ နွား များ၊ ထင်း ဘို့ ကောက်နယ် တန်ဆာများ၊ ဘောဇဉ် ပူဇော်သက္ကာဘို့ ဂျုံ စပါးများအလုံးစုံ ကို ကျွန်တော် ဆက် ပါ၏ဟု ဒါဝိဒ် အား လျှောက် လျှင်၊
Ornan said to David, “My lord the king may take whatever seems good. Look, I will give the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sledges for the wood, and the wheat for the grain offering—I will give it all.”
24 ၂၄ ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး က၊ ထိုသို့ငါမ ယူရ။ စင်စစ်အဘိုး ထိုက်သည်အတိုင်း ပေး ၍ငါဝယ်မည်။ သင့် ဥစ္စာကို ထာဝရဘုရား အဘို့ ငါမ သိမ်း။ ကိုယ်ငွေ မကုန်ဘဲ မီး ရှို့ရာ ယဇ်ကို မပူဇော် လိုဟု အရောန အား ဆို သဖြင့်၊
“No,” replied King David, “I insist on paying the full price, for I will not take for the LORD what belongs to you, nor will I offer burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”
So David paid Ornan six hundred shekels of gold for the site.
26 ၂၆ ထာဝရဘုရား အဘို့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ကို တည် ၍ ၊ မီး ရှို့ရာယဇ်၊ မိဿဟာယ ယဇ်တို့ကို ပူဇော် လေ၏။ ထိုသို့ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ပဌနာ ပြုသောအခါ ၊ မီး ရှို့ရာယဇ်ပလ္လင် ပေါ် သို့ မီး ကျသဖြင့် ကောင်းကင် ထဲက ထူး တော်မူ၏။
And there he built an altar to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. He called upon the LORD, who answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
Then the LORD spoke to the angel, who put his sword back into its sheath.
28 ၂၈ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ယေဗုသိ လူ အရောန ၏ ကောက်နယ် တလင်း၌ ထူး တော်မူသည်ကို ဒါဝိဒ် သိမြင် လျှင် ၊ ထို အရပ်၌ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ခြင်းအမှုကို ပြုလေ၏။
At that time, when David saw that the LORD had answered him at the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he offered sacrifices there.
29 ၂၉ တော ၌ မောရှေ လုပ် ခဲ့သော ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ တဲ တော်နှင့် မီး ရှို့ရာယဇ်ပလ္လင် သည်၊ ထို ကာလ ၌ ဂိဗောင် မြို့၌ မြင့် သောအရပ်ပေါ် မှာရှိ၏။
For the tabernacle of the LORD that Moses had made in the wilderness and the altar of burnt offering were presently at the high place in Gibeon,
30 ၃၀ ဒါဝိဒ် သည်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ကောင်းကင် တမန်ထား ကို ကြောက် သောကြောင့် ၊ ထိုယဇ် ပလ္လင်သို့ သွား ၍ဘုရားသခင် ကို မ မေး မလျှောက်ဝံ့။။
but David could not go before it to inquire of God, because he was afraid of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
