ရုသ 3
1 ၁ များမကြာမီနောမိကရုသအား``သင် သည်ကိုယ့်အိမ်နှင့်ကိုယ်နေထိုင်နိုင်ရန် သင့် အားငါနေရာချပေးရမည်။-
One day Ruth’s mother-in-law Naomi said to her, “My daughter, should I not seek a resting place for you, that it may be well with you?
2 ၂ သင်နှင့်အတူတူအလုပ်လုပ်သည့်အမျိုး သမီးများ၏သခင်ဖြစ်သူ ဗောဇသည် ငါ တို့နှင့်ဆွေမျိုးတော်စပ်သည်မဟုတ်လော။ ယခုငါပြောသည့်စကားကိုနားထောင်ပါ လော့။ သူသည်ယနေ့ညနေတွင် မုယော စပါးများကိုနယ်လျက်နေလိမ့်မည်။-
Now is not Boaz, with whose servant girls you have been working, a relative of ours? In fact, tonight he is winnowing barley on the threshing floor.
3 ၃ သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်သည်ကိုယ်လက်သုတ်သင်ပြီး လျှင် နံ့သာအမွှေးအကြိုင်များလူး၍အလှ ဆုံးအဝတ်အစားများကိုဝတ်ဆင်ကာသူ စပါးနယ်ရာသို့သွားပါလော့။ သို့ရာတွင် ထိုအရပ်သို့သင်ရောက်ရှိနေကြောင်းကို သူ စားသောက်ပြီးသည်တိုင်အောင်သူ့အား အသိမပေးနှင့်။-
Therefore wash yourself, put on perfume, and wear your best clothes. Go down to the threshing floor, but do not let the man know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking.
4 ၄ သူအိပ်စက်ရန်လဲလျောင်းသည့်နေရာကိုမှတ် သားထားလော့။ သူအိပ်ပျော်သွားသောအခါ ကျမှသွား၍စောင်ကိုမပြီးလျှင် သူ၏ခြေ ရင်းတွင်ဝင်၍လဲလျောင်းနေပါလေ။ သင့်အား အဘယ်သို့ပြုစေလိုသည်ကိုသူပြောပြ ပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
When he lies down, note the place where he lies. Then go in and uncover his feet, and lie down, and he will explain to you what you should do.”
“I will do everything you say,” Ruth answered.
6 ၆ ထိုနောက်ရုသသည်ကောက်နယ်တလင်းသို့ သွား၍ မိမိ၏ယောက္ခမမှာကြားလိုက်သည် အတိုင်းပြု၏။-
So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law had instructed her to do.
7 ၇ ဗောဇသည်စားသောက်၍ပြီးသောအခါစိတ် ရွှင်ပြလျက် စပါးပုံရှိရာသို့သွား၍အိပ် လေသည်။ ရုသသည်သူ၏ထံသို့တိတ်တ ဆိတ်ချဉ်းကပ်၍ စောင်ကိုမပြီးလျှင်သူ၏ ခြေရင်းတွင်လဲလျောင်းလိုက်၏။-
After Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain. Then Ruth went in secretly, uncovered his feet, and lay down.
8 ၈ သန်းခေါင်အချိန်၌ဗောဇသည်အိပ်ရာမှရုတ် တရက်နိုးလာသဖြင့် ကိုယ်ကိုလှည့်လိုက်ရာ မိမိခြေရင်းတွင် အိပ်လျက်နေသည့်အမျိုး သမီးကိုတွေ့ရှိရသဖြင့်၊-
At midnight, Boaz was startled, turned over, and there lying at his feet was a woman!
9 ၉ ``သင်သည်အဘယ်သူနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ရုသကလည်း``အရှင်၊ ကျွန်မသည်ရုသဖြစ် ပါသည်။ အရှင်သည်ကျွန်မနှင့်ဆွေမျိုးတော် စပ်သူဖြစ်၍ ကျွန်မအားကြည့်ရှုစောင့်ရှောက် ရန်တာဝန်ရှိသူဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်ကျွန်မ အားထိမ်းမြားလက်ထပ်တော်မူပါ'' ဟုပြန် ပြောလေ၏။
“Who are you?” he asked. “I am your servant Ruth,” she replied. “Spread the corner of your garment over me, for you are a kinsman-redeemer.”
10 ၁၀ ဗောဇကလည်း``သင့်ကိုထာဝရဘုရား ကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူပါစေ။ ယခုသင်ပြု သောအမှုသည် ယခင်ကသင့်ယောက္ခမအား ပြုခဲ့သည့်အမှုထက်ပင်ပို၍ သင်၏သစ္စာရှိ မှုကိုပေါ်လွင်စေပါ၏။ သင်သည်ဆင်းရဲသူ သို့မဟုတ်ချမ်းသာသူ လူပျိုလူရွယ်တစ်စုံ တစ်ယောက်ကိုရှာနိုင်သော်လည်းမရှာခဲ့ပါ။-
Then Boaz said, “May the LORD bless you, my daughter. You have shown more kindness now than before, because you have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor.
11 ၁၁ ရုသ၊ ယခုသင်မစိုးရိမ်ပါနှင့်။ သင်ပြော သမျှအတိုင်းငါပြုမည်။ သင်သည်အကျင့် သီလရှိသည့်အမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦးဖြစ် သည်ကိုတစ်မြို့လုံးသိကြပါသည်။-
And now do not be afraid, my daughter. I will do for you whatever you request, since all my fellow townspeople know that you are a woman of noble character.
12 ၁၂ ငါသည်သင်၏ဆွေမျိုးအရင်းအချာဖြစ်၍ သင်၏အတွက်တာဝန်ရှိသည်ကားမှန်၏။ သို့ ရာတွင်ငါ့ထက်ပင်ပို၍ရင်းချာသည့်ဆွေ မျိုးတစ်ဦးရှိပါသေးသည်။-
Yes, it is true that I am a kinsman-redeemer, but there is a redeemer nearer than I.
13 ၁၃ သင်သည်ယနေ့ညဥ့်ကုန်ဆုံးသည်တိုင်အောင် ဤနေရာတွင်နေပါလော့။ သင်၏အတွက်ထို သူတာဝန်ယူလိုသည်မယူလိုသည်ကိုမိုး သောက်သောအခါ ငါတို့မေးမြန်းစုံစမ်းကြ မည်။ အကယ်၍သူတာဝန်ယူလိုပါလျှင်ယူ ပါလေစေ။ သူမယူလိုလျှင်မူကား ငါတာဝန် ယူမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းအသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားကိုတိုင်တည်၍ငါကျိန်ဆိုပါ၏။ ယခု သင်သည် ဤနေရာတွင်လဲလျောင်းလျက်မိုး သောက်ချိန်တိုင်အောင်နေပါလော့'' ဟုဆို၏။
Stay here tonight, and in the morning, if he wants to redeem you, good. Let him redeem you. But if he does not want to redeem you, as surely as the LORD lives, I will. Now lie here until morning.”
14 ၁၄ သို့ဖြစ်၍ရုသသည်မိုးသောက်ချိန်တိုင်အောင် ဗောဇ၏ခြေရင်းတွင်အိပ်လျက်နေ၏။ သို့သော် လည်းဗောဇသည်ရုသရောက်ရှိလာကြောင်း ကို အဘယ်သူမျှမသိစေလိုသောကြောင့် ရုသသည်မိုးမလင်းမီအိပ်ရာမှထလေ သည်။-
So she lay down at his feet until morning, but she got up before anyone else could recognize her. Then Boaz said, “Do not let it be known that a woman came to the threshing floor.”
15 ၁၅ ထိုအခါဗောဇကသူ့အား``သင်၏ခြုံထည် ကိုဤနေရာတွင်ဖြန့်လော့'' ဟုဆိုသည် အတိုင်းသူသည်ပြု၏။ ဗောဇသည်မုယော စပါးတစ်တင်းခန့်ကိုလောင်းထည့်ပြီးလျှင် ချီပင့်၍ပေးသဖြင့်ရုသသည်ထိုစပါး ထုပ်နှင့်မြို့သို့ပြန်လေ၏။-
And he told her, “Bring the shawl you are wearing and hold it out.” When she did so, he shoveled six measures of barley into her shawl. Then he went into the city.
16 ၁၆ သူသည်မိမိ၏ယောက္ခမထံသို့ရောက်သော အခါ ယောက္ခမက``ငါ့သမီး၊ သင့်အရေး အဘယ်သို့နည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ရုသသည်ဗောဇပြုသမျှကိုနောမိ အားပြန်ကြားပြီးနောက်၊-
When Ruth returned to her mother-in-law, Naomi asked her, “How did it go, my daughter?” Then Ruth told her all that Boaz had done for her.
17 ၁၇ ``သူသည်ကျွန်မအား`မိခင်ထံသို့လက်ချည်း သက်သက်မပြန်ရ' ဟုဆိုကာဤမုယောစပါး ကိုပေးလိုက်ပါသေးသည်'' ဟုပြော၏။
And she said, “He gave me these six measures of barley, for he said, ‘Do not go back to your mother-in-law empty-handed.’”
18 ၁၈ နောမိက``ရုသ၊ ဤအမှုအဘယ်သို့အဆုံး သတ်သည် ကိုသိရှိရသည်တိုင်အောင်စိတ်ရှည် လျက်စောင့်နေပါလော့။ ဗောဇသည်ယနေ့ ဤကိစ္စမပြီးပြတ်မချင်း နားနေလိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်'' ဟုဆို၏။
“Wait, my daughter,” said Naomi, “until you find out how things go, for he will not rest unless he has resolved the matter today.”
