ဆာလံ 131
1 ၁ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်မာန်မာနကိုစွန့်ပယ် ပါပြီ။ မောက်မာမှုကိုလည်းပယ်ရှားပါပြီ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကြီးကျယ်လှသည့် အမှုများတွင်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ မိမိသိရှိနားလည်ရန်ခက်ခဲလှသော အကြောင်းအရာများတွင်သော်လည်းကောင်း စိတ်မဝင်စားတော့ပါ။
“A song of the degrees by David.” O Lord, my heart was not haughty, nor were my eyes lofty: neither have I walked after matters too great, or those too wonderful for me.
2 ၂ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကျေနပ်ရောင့်ရဲလျက် မိမိစိတ်ကိုငြိမ်းအေးစေပါပြီ။ ကလေးငယ်သည်မိခင်၏ရင်ခွင်၌ ငြိမ်သက်စွာအိပ်နေသကဲ့သို့ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏စိတ်နှလုံးသည်လည်း ငြိမ်သက်လျက်ရှိပါပြီ။
Surely I have pacified and stilled my soul, like the suckling on its mother's breast: like a suckling is in me my soul.
Let Israel wait for the Lord from this time forth and for ever more.
